Adobe Analytics

Hi, My organization has a few, basic Workspaces displayed on a large screen in the office. We use a browser plugin to cycle through and "hard refresh" the tabs containing the Workspace reports. One thing I've noticed lately is that the left hand rail (that contains Dimensions, Metrics, Segments, and Date Ranges) will automatically open and dock itself after a hard refresh of the browser tab has occurred. This causes less then optimal display of the Workspaces on our big screen. In the past, proactively hiding the left hand rail kept that area hidden no matter what so I think this change is recent. Any advice?

I have about 2 thousand ad campaigns as my dimension, and ad views, clicks, and click-rate as my metrics. I want to sort the data to see the best click-rate, however, there are lots of high percentages due to low view amount (e.g. 1 view and 1 click amounts to 100% click rate but the click and view numbers are too low to even consider putting them in a report). I wanted to filter the ads, so only the ads with more than 5000 views show up but I was unsuccessful in doing so. How can I solve this problem?

Hello,Could someone please explain why am I seeing 2 different number here? and explain why?For example, if I create a visualization using this view (yellow) SEO is from Dimension Item "SEO" while the (blue) SEO is from segment screenshots above. We see 2 slightly different number for exampleYellow: 1,312,000Blue: 1,320,000the number difference is minimal, but I would like to understand what the reason for this could be. Thank you!

Hello, we use GTM to deploy the AA tracking script and to tag event tracking. On May 21st all custom events (and custom parameters) stopped being collected in AA, however pageviews are still tracked. Unfortunately the tech support team couldn't help with resolving this issue because we use GTM to deploy AA tracking code. There was a similar question in the AA community but for AEM sites. Solved: Google Analytics error in adobe - Adobe Experience League Community - 676320where it was mentioned that Adobe would have fixed this in the June releases. There have been several releases since then, but the issue has not been resolved. Maybe it has been resolved for AEM sites, because we don't use this. I'm also seeing these errors in the console tab.I would appreciate any help with this

I want to share how I created an advanced Goal/Forecasting report. A goal or a forecasting report is a monitoring type report. Creating a combined Forecasting and Goal Progress (or Goal Pacing) report is a valuable way to track your progress towards a specific goal over time and forecast your future progress. Ever since I first learned it was possible, one of my favourite type of segments to build is the visit-in-hit segment. I've always been a fan of logic and puzzles, so learning how to build segments and understanding what type of data they return was particularly interesting. I still remember the first time I learned about segments and was told that you put smaller containers inside bigger ones, and to do it the other way would make it invalid. I took that as fact for a very long time.   Then one day I had a fallout visualization that I wanted to build a segment from. So I right clicked and selected build segment. Looking at what workspace generated I saw a visit container inside of a hit one. This went against what I had been taught, and it sent me down a rabbit hole of investigation. What I eventually learned was that segments with a bigger container inside a smaller one (like visit-in-hit or visitor-in-visit) does work and provides some very specific insights. I got a chance to

I am struggling to understand why using a segment as the first touchpoint in a fallout visualisation gives me a different result to applying the segment to the funnel as a whole? In the image below the first number in both funnels is very similar, and even though the next step is the same, the fallout values are very different. The difference is in the left image I've applied the 'Course -' segment to the touchpoint whereas on the right I applied it to the whole funnel. I noticed that on the left the 'eventual path' option appeared, which isn't an option on the right, but can't think that this should make a difference? The funnel on the right must also be using eventual path.  

Hello, I’m working on setting up the Classification Rule Builder for Campaign Tracking in Adobe Analytics and need some assistance with handling extra parameters in our tracking URLs. In some cases, our tracking URLs have additional parameters appended by default (e.g., gclid in paid search ads). I manage multiple organizations in Adobe Analytics. When I connect Power BI to Adobe Analytics, I automatically get one organization but I need to change organizations - how do I "unlink" the organization that my account is connected to so I can get the option to choose which one I want? Logging out of analytics connector, wiping permissions, or deleting the data source account in PowerBI do not fix the issue.

I am using the Adobe Analytics API for Power BI and can not switch organizations. My Adobe account has admin privileges for 3 separate client organizations. I've visited Power BI Data Source settings and logged out of Adobe, cleared Power BI cache and logged back in. Power BI fails to ask which organization I want to use. I saw it ask once, so i know this is an option. How do i get back there?

Hello All,I want to capture and save the current date into a eVar which can be used for reporting and analysis purpose later. I can see that date/time into Adobe debugger. Could anybody please help me to capture the same into a eVar.Also this timestamp is showing in different time zone even though I have selected my current time zone in report suite settings. Hi, I'm trying to build a calculated metric for the CTR of banners present in the client's home page.Separately, the CTR for Banner 1, for example, would be 6% (e14 / page views * 100). But upon using the calculated metric, the values nor the percentages make sense. Would you guys have any thoughts about how can I create this metric?  Thank you in advance!

Hi team,As mentioned above i have been trying to capture a specific eVar (eVar110) from Mobile SDK to Data collection platform. However, even after multiple attempts i'm not able to collect the data. We were able to extract the data of ECID by explicitly capturing it through processing rules but failing to do it for custom eVars.Below is the of the XDM type: xdm.experience.analytics.customdimensions.eVars.eVar110Data that is shown on Launch: a.x._experience.analytics.0.customdimensions.0.evars.evar110(Context Data)i'm not so sure if this can be an issue with case sensitivity but need your inputs on the same. Please advise.

  In the unique visitor data, the data for July 1 plus July 2 is 12673, which is inconsistent with the 12184 above. What is the reason?

Hi! I was doing research on CJA, and it seems like the right foundation is Adobe Client Data Layer, Adobe Tags, and the webSDK tag extension. I reviewed with a friend who commented that the webSDK tag extension would only partially populate a site on implementation, meaning, you'd only have webSDK on a handful of pages instead of all of them when you were done. I've been going through the documentation, but I am having trouble understanding when that would be true or why. Hello all, I have a list of URLs and some of them exceed 255 characters. I've noticed that these URLs are truncated in Adobe Analytics and I lose some important data when I extract my report using Report Builder. Is there a way to extract the full URL (including those that have more than 255 characters) using Report Builder (I tried to see how it looks with the Global Page Name, but I need some details from the URL, like the country/language)?Is there any other dimension that I can use and that has the full URL?Or is there any other option?Thank you!
