Hello, In the General Use Cases for Profile Merge Rules it states:Profile Merge Rules options let you expand or tighten audience focus on specific audiences based on business needs or goals. These general use cases explore how to use available options and create merge rules for individual, household, and cross-device targeting. Currently, Profile Merge Rules work with real-time destinations only.Could you please give me some examples of what a "real time destination" might be? Are S2S destinations considered real time? Would Adobe Target be considered real time? What else?Please let me know. Thanks. Glenn

Hi Team,I was just wondering on how the Unique Trait Realizations or Total Trait Population data are getting impact while changing the logic during the data processing in Adobe Audience Manager.Suppose for example, I have created Trait & Segment ID with regular expression logic on last week and later someone or myself has modified again the same trait with additional conditions. Is there anyway that the Trait or Segment population data will be re-processing for the entire days starting from created date or the data will be processed only for the modified logic and the previous data will not be changed (constant).Can you kindly help us with some insights.Thanks,Vijay

Hoping someone here can point me in the right direction.We have a client that no longer uses AAM and AMO.  The implementation code has been removed and all that, but we are still seeing the AMO partner ID sync calls coming when the Visitor ID service spins up.  From what I can tell, that gets configured from the AAM Admin side, but we do not have access to that since they no longer have license for the product.These calls all originate from the dest5.html the ID service loads into an iframe.  It syncs IDs with partners like Rubicon, Facebook, etc.What do I need to do or who at Adobe to contact to get those extra calls to stop?  If I need to ask in a different forum, great.Many thanks!

I’m hoping to get clarity on the behaviour of a .overwrite file upload into Audience Manager.If I have 10 users that have had traits uploaded (key/value pairs) via an initial .overwrite file, then I wish to overwrite only 5 of those users, do I need to upload a new file with only the 5 users to overwrite or do I have to re-upload all 10.In this link it says, you do not need to include all of your users in an overwrite file. Hi All,Can you help me understand if we can associate multiple customer id's (CRM ID's) to single MCID?Use case (not exact) is we have one authenticated user, but he will have multiple profiles (say netflix example), so we need to able to target at profile level.He will be using same device/same browser/same login to access these multiple profiles, so considering these, how can we use MCID + customer id concept to distinguish profiles?We are using Audience manager, Anaytics, DTM and Target.Cheers,Vivek

How often do URL destinations refresh audience data.I am sending segments to facebook via a url destination. How often is this data being refreshed?

Good morning, I think the answer to my question is no but I want to be sure. If I create a segment with a Profile Merge rule and user one has three devices but has only authenticated on device one does the system capture device two and device three? Please let me know. Thanks. Glenn

Good morning, I am new to the suite and will be working within a S2S environment between Analytics and AAM. This is a different integration than the previous DMP I was involved with. My question is, with this integration should I be building segments in AA and pushing them into AAM or building the segments in AAM with query strings (not the friendliest way to do it)?I've read most of the AAM docmentation and watched MANY videos but still do not completely understand the process. Is there documentation where I can get the best feel for the products and how they work together.Glenn

We are trying to implement Audience manager but when we try to use the following script we get a 404:https://a248.e.akamai.net/demdex.download.akamai.com/clientId/demdex.jshttp://cdn.demdex.net/clientId/demdex.jsHowever, if we use the following:https://clientId.demdex.net/demdex.js We are able to get the script to work, how come the CDN links do not work correctly?  Do we have an old script applied?Thanks

Hello,we're trying to upgrade our sync procedure with the new "Universal marketing cloud id" moving away from the legacy format.In the documentation we have at our disposal, the sync endpoint Marketing Cloud Help | Set up your User ID Sync only allows us to receive AAM IDs (legacy Audience Manager ID format).Is there a way to activate a new  sync flow with the new Marketing cloud id?Best,Francesco.

Hi All,Happy New year!My question  is we have a Adobe Target integrated with AAM, we have segments flowing from AAM to Adobe Target. The issue we are facing is we are able to see the AAM data counting in  Adobe Target only for the Rule based traits and segments. When we use offline uploads and create the Segment in AAM and create  a campaign in Target we are not seeing the data in the Adobe Target, we couldn't understand what is causing the issue with offline uploads.We have raised a open ticket with client care, they have asked to change the order of calls visitor API, Target calls. Where we have them in the right order and double checked everything it all looks good. As per client care if that is the issue that should effect Ruled based segments as well correct?Is there anyone who came across with the same issue please let us know if you have any answer for this. Hi,I'm a new user of AAM and since the documentation is missing some information I have a few questions.I currently have AA, Target and Marketing Cloud ID Service implemented via DTM for web and SDK for mobile apps.All use the latest code versions.For starters I've implemented the AAM Module in the AA tool in DTM and enable SSF from AA Admin interface.Also in DTM in the I've added the Marketing Cloud ID Service Settings the audienceManagerServer and audienceManagerServerSecure.We actively use 4 report suites in AA for web and mobile apps. This are all mapped to the same OrgID and available in AAM.Now for the questions:is SSF available for Mobile Services as well and what settings should be made in the Mobile Services UI or SDK?in AAM what ID Type should be selected for specific report suite Data Sources (mobile and web).Traits and Segments should be build based on the specific report suite Data Source or the Active Audience Data Source?For example I would like for a specific report sui

Hello,I was wondering what the best way to send segments to a DSP is? Should we create a single destination specific to the DSP or should we create uniques destinations for that DSP specifically for a single segment?For example, the DSP is AppNexus and we first want to send them a suppression segment but know that down the line we'll be sending other segments that contain a lookalike model, or perhaps a retargeting segment. Do I need three destinations or only one? I just want to know the best practice to ensure things are as clean as possible.Also, in this instance I'd want a S2S destination correct?Glenn Bourque

Hi,According to the following contained in the Adobe Audience Manager Product Doco:Transfer-Control Files for Log File Transfers There should be accompanying Transfer-Control file/files (.info) which provides metadata information about the transfers from Adobe to the target partner.Would anyone know if this feature is enabled by default or is there something that needs to be done to enable the .info files to flow through?  We currently receive via S3 bucket from Adobe but we can't see any associated .info files with the transfers.thanks

Can someone please throw light on how do we enable Mobile ID (GAID/IDFA) sync between AAM and a DP? Is it the same as setting up an s2s destination request with Adobe client care? Thanks!
