we need to sort pages alphabetically on for specific folders. I tried to overlay the OOTB path /libs/wcm/core/content/sites/jcr:content/views/column/datasource to /apps but it doesnt seem to work because the sling:resoureType of libs folder path is cq/gui/components/common/wcm/datasources/childpages and i couldnt find this path in my aem.  I tried to add jsp code  here : /apps/cq/gui/components/coral/admin/page/columnitem/columnitem.jsp. we have used this jsp to manipulate the page names and title. But for this requirement this also doesnt seem to work.  can someone help me with this ?

Hey Everyone, Context: Our team is currently trying to optimally setup a client's project, and we want to create a smooth CI/CD system which will take into account both the development side of contributions as well as the actual content authoring side (client side) of the flow. The tooling and process we're utilizing is as such (see attached screenshot as well of our current infra thinking & layout):- Document/Content Authoring & Asset Management = Sharepoint- Version Control and Development Organization = GitHub- Deployment and CDN = AEMaaCS (were using Edge Delivery) As for utmost safety in a project and to prevent unwanted mistakes, multiple environments should exist ideally. But so far this is understood by our team as such:- Feature branches take in local code changes/pushes- Merge into a Staging branch- Merge into QA or Main from which it goes to a production pipeline- The pipeline is triggered from main- Pipeline deploys to production (.com) site

Hi there, Can someone help me better understand how users are defined with context to AEM Sites On-Premise?   More specifically: Do users refer to all "named" users (ie. any or all logins) connected to an AEM author instance?  I've been told it's only concurrent users.  Or is it total users? Does the license model elaborate on the specific case of previewing content for named account (one can login, preview, but not edit or approve), thus enabling preview to specific users.  These users are not authors and never will be.  Do these count as users as well?  This is based on references from the following thread (from @anilkumar9 and @arunpatidar) :https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-experience-manager/what-are-the-differences-between-aem-as-on-premise-and-aem-as-a/m-p/626921 Thank you in advance!

Hi there,  I'm wondering if I can leverage MSM to create a single-source workflow of 100+ pages with different content but based on the same structure. Is this doable with MSM and non-localized content? 1. In other words, I'd like to have one parent page with a structural blueprint but be able to draw that blueprint to 100+ child pages with varying content per site inside of the standard structure. All pages are in English but based on differing versions of similar content.  a. If so, how would updating content on the child pages work? Would there be a single-source we can update in a central area and flow to child pages? b. Could we update parts of the structure of the parent and easily "push" them down to the children?c. If there are core pieces of content that all child pages would share with the parent, is there a way to update the content on the parent and "push" to all child pages?d. We have created a custom Utility class with two functions:1. getResourceResolver()2. closeResourceResolver() Whereever we need to get an object of resource reolver, we call the "getResourceResolver" function inside "try" block and in "finally" block, we call the "closeResourceResolver" function.  Recently, the AEM has started logging the "INFO" in error.logs stating "Unclosed ResourceResolver was created here:" for "getResourceResolver()" function for line "resolverFactory.getServiceResourceResolver" line. We cannot close the Resource Resolver in the same function as this function objective is to create and return the resource resolver object. Please advise. - Thanks

We are having an issue with images flipping horizontally when adding them to a page with the Image Core Component. Also, we are unable to fix it using the "flip horizontal" option. This happens randomly and there does not seem to be any rhyme or reason to this behavior. My requirement is to translate a website using language copy in AEM.I need to translate a website using the language copy feature in AEM. To do this, I created an account on Azure and obtained a free trial translator resource, which provided me with two subscription keys and one subscription ID. I want to configure these in AEM to translate the website, as the out-of-the-box credentials aren't working. I have both the SDK running locally and a standalone jar. However, when I create the Microsoft Translator configuration and input the Azure-provided subscription key, I receive an error stating that the subscription key is invalid. It is possible to use Adobe Adaptive Form with SPA page and React easily?I noticed there is an "includeFormsheadless" attribute in AEM project archetype but I was not able to use...I tried to map an react text component to "myproject/components/adaptiveForm/text", it worked but I am not sure how I would create the others components, like "Adaptive Form - Embed" and "Form Container"...

Hi,jcr:lastModifiedBy and jcr:lastModified is not getting updated on the original/jcr:content node whenever we update the json file of DAM Asset. I checked all the permissions also JCR Observation Listeners are correctly configured, Verfied Resource Type, Getting the correct user id from session, also verified mixinType of the node and i dont see any issue. Still these two properties are not getting updated please help me on the same. Thanks & Regards,Kalyan

Having an issue with AEM Forms where elements that are configured to be hidden are still showing up on the page. Customer is testing the site on slower network speeds by using Chrome's dev tools to throttle the browser connection to 3G and disabling the cache.  This causes the page to load very slowly (which is expected).  However, when the page finishes loading there are blue and red alert boxes that are displayed when they should be hidden.When the page is viewed after the slow page load completes, I notice that the alert boxes don't have the "hidden" or "active" classes on their field elements.  Those classes are something AEM adds based on whether the Hide Object option is checked or not in the component configuration.  Since they don't have the classes, they display.  So it seems like there is an AEM event or process that doesn't fire to add the appropriate class on slower connections.

Hi,  We are working on a migration project fom AMS to ACS. Our current project heavily relies on static template that are build using JSP. Could you please clarify the following question with respect to migration -1. Is there any way to retain JSP as-is and still migrate from static template to editable template?2. Is it necessary to migrate JSP to HTL3. Are there any Adobe recommened migration guide for converting JSP based template to HTL4. Is it necessary to convert components using JSP to HTLWe are looking for the best practices and any possible workarounds that would allow us to efficiently transition to ACS without a complete rewrite.Any insight, recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks,

Hi, I have an AEM workflow which creates lots of groups when run on a folder, but when i am assigning user to the created group i can just see an error page once i login. how can i give basic set of permission to a group so that  the assigned user can login and view /content/dam/assets page.(not the folders) because folders will be assigned on some condition.  I am planning to create on main group manually/programatically and assign all the workflow created groups to it, so all the basic permissions will be part of that main group.

I am migrating from static templates to editable templates using AEM Modernization Tool but  my static template code is in JSP. So, do I need to create a new code base for editable templates or is it compatible to JSP as well? Please guide me, how I can proceed on this.

Hi Team - I am trying to understand why a dispatcher cannot cache the PDF documents uploaded into Forms and Documents section, /content/dam/formsanddocuments . I uploaded a PDF documents into forms and documents and tried accessing it with Publisher by appending the content dam path of the PDF and made sure it opened the PDF with extension (as this a requirement for dispatcher to cache). However i do not see it being cached. But it caches the same PDF uploaded under /content/dam. What is controlling this, my cache.any file has "allow" to glob "*".

Hi guys, I have a project with more than 10 frontend modules, each one having its own component group. Some of them are using the default AEM React module, while others are using a headless Next.js frontend. The problem is that I need to create one component in a different component group that can be used across all the other component groups. I tried creating the generic component frontend module with the default AEM React module and added it to the "Generic Components Group."
