Hi,We are just moving from AEM 6.3.0 to AEM 6.5, I am excited to Learn new challenges.Problem I am facing is : Suppose we have huge number of pages with static template, now we have to move all the pages to Editable,Can anyone please suggest me the best approach. I have gone through the AEM Modernization https://expleague.azureedge.net/labs/aem-intro/index.html and got to know how to create Editable templates and how to apply policies.But Since we have to move our pages from static to Editable what is the best approach, Thanks  @kautuk_sahni @arunpatidar 

Hi All, We are exploring HTML5 forms to be able to complete and submit the forms from Mobile devices. I had few questions related to this and would greatly appreciate if anyone already working with HTML5 forms could provide more insights. 1. What is the best way to deliver/serve these HTML5 forms, should we build a Forms Portal (using Search and Lister Component) then configure it show all XDP templates uploaded to /content/dam/formsanddocuments ? OR Expose a REST endpoint (http://aempublisher.corp:4503/content/xfaforms/profiles/default.html?contentRoot=crx:///content/dam/formsanddocuments&template=test.xdp)With the API approach, I am required to tweak the paths to Client libraries as without those the form is not rendered correctly. Hello, I have a question, I’m currently testing sling:alias because I need to replace some URLs. My question is, when using sling:alias, will the resource resolver automatically return only the paths with the alias? Or will the original path still be valid? What I ultimately need is, if my original path is /content/testing and my alias is /content/testing-alias, I want /content/testing to return a 404 when entering the URL, and only be accessible through /content/testing-alias. I'm asking because someone told me that the normal behavior of the resource resolver is to always return the path with the alias and not the original path, so I’m not sure if that’s true, or if I have an older version that prevents me from seeing this behavior.

I have a TIFF file with a clipping path and a dynamic image preset to resize and produce a TIFF file. I have uploaded the TIFF file to AEM, But when I download the dynamic image preset of that file it no longer has the clipping path in the metadata. Does the dynamic media not preserve clipping path information? And is there any way to have it preserve the path when generated?

Hello,   We have encountered a few images where agencies have added metadata like clipping paths, and the name of the clipping path is visible in the metadata when accessed using ExifTool. However, this information is not being extracted by the DAM Update Asset workflow and added to the metadata node.   Are there specific rules that determine which types of metadata can be extracted? For metadata that does not meet these rules, what is the recommended approach to extract and include such metadata?

Hey, we're building an EDS site for a client and ideally we don't want the .live or .page site to be crawlable or accessible publicly. We want some sort of security or VPN (or login) around it? Is this possible? What options do I have?

An AEM Developer creates a custom OAK index for /content/mywebsite under /oak:index node. While testing the live site. It is found that the index is not being applied to any query within the website. AEM 6.5.21 (on-prem)AEM Guides v4.6 (on-prem, UUID) GlossariesWhen including glossaries and glossary entries in topics, the glossaries do generate correctly and the glossary entry links generate in the Native PDF Publishing PDF correctly, but the glossSurfaceForm and glossAcronym do not. With multiple uses of a glossary entry in a topic, the title element is the link instead of only the first instance using the title and the following instances using the acronym. This is true with both Native PDF Publishing and the AEM Sites outputs. Is this by design? Or will the glossSurfaceForm and glossAcronym eventually work as DITA intends them to work?

Hey everyone, We have an EDS website which we want to deploy on our AEM Cloud CDN using Edge Delivery Solution. (Screenshot below)I do understand the steps needed to configure and connect an EDS website to a Domain. However, this single domain instance will then be our production. I want a staging environment before in this pipeline, so it should somehow look like this:main----.aem.live ---> www.stagingURL.com ----> www.productionURL.com Is that pipeline possible in this configuration for EDS? I have three translation Projects in "Committed for Translation" and not flowing into our TMS for translation. Now that I have confirmed the language mapping is correct (it wasn't), is there a way to push these files from "committed for translation" to "in process" without having to create entirely new translation Projects? For example, a text field includes default attributes like data-aue-prop="title", data-aue-label="Title", and data-aue-type="text". Hello!I've added a new plugin to Sidekick with a date picker.My goal is when a date is selected, to add the page we are on to the crontab.xlsx sheet and in the "when" column to have the selected date and in the "command" column to have the publish command.Does anyone know if that is possible?
