Hi all, I completely understand the difference between AEM On Premise Vs Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service. What would be the difference between these two when Architecture is considered?Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service uses Scalable nodes in infra, Cloud Manager for CI/CD, Mutable/Immutable separation in packages, Sling Distribution for replication, etc, etc. How to represent these in the architecture diagram? Are there any sample architecture diagrams representing these somewhere?I referred to Adobe SPP unsuccessfully. I highly appreciate all your replies. Thanks,RK.  

Our organization is looking to enable AVIF as part of smart imaging from Dynamic Media. We are developing our testing strategy and I'm looking to get community feedback on potential risks or experiences with enabling AVIF that we should test for.   Anyone have success or learning lessons from AVIF enablement?  We will be testing for browser compatibility and doing network throttling to ensure image quality but beyond that not sure what to look for but have been told by Adobe to thoroughly test.

I have experience Fragment Footer/master.There is a tag field (cq:tags) available on both Footer and Master.  In my DITA XML docs, I want elements that have an auto-generated unique ID, but I also want the IDs to follow a format/pattern of element<title>, followed by element name, and unique generated ID number (eg. <fig id="Toaster-Oven_fig_2">).When configuring element id patterns in the Adobe Experience Manager Web Console Configuration page, can you specify the element <title> in the "pattern for generating IDs field"? The pattern is ${elementName}_${id}. Is it possible to specify the pattern: ${title}_{elementName}_${id}?

I' making a component that required a rich text field in the dialog. It is working, but the properties maxlength and required do nothing for this field. I have them configured properly but I can add any number of characters and save the dialog with no text in my rich textfield. I did the component taking as a base the richtextfield in /libs/foundation/components/text component because it has a rich text inside the dialog similar to the one I need.I've attached an image with my configuration,I need to make the maxlegth and required properties work

Is there still a problem with the wintitle element? With v4.3.1.390, if you try to insert a wintitle, the key reference dialog box opens up and you have select one of your key references. The only way to insert a wintitle is to type it manually in the source code view. I want to search for all topics in a folder that contain the phrase "Make sure."  But no results are returned. Is it possible to search for topics using specific phrases or keywords?I also want to further filter the search using the dita element filter, but still no results are returned.

How to override OOB logger configuration like error.log, access.log and upgrade.log Let say AEM creates OOB Log files like request.log, history.log and upgrade.log files etc. as part of AEM installation. We have different environements and so many inatnces. We want to maintain the same log level (reset to info in every deployment) in all environment for all the files In case of maually someone changed the log level to debug / ERROR level or log file location (to write cloudwatch in aws need to override default log file location). I'm trying to add the logger configuration to override for OOB log files but it isn't overriding instead creating a new entry in the logger configuration. Any leads.? Thanks.

Hello, I'm starting my journey, so I don't know much about AEM. I'm trying to setup the local environment to run some tutorials on Windows 11. Following the installation guide at https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-learn/cloud-service/local-development-environment-set-up/dispatcher-tools.html?lang=en . I've unzipped the dispatcher files and trying to run it with:bin\docker_run src host.docker.internal:4503 8080This exits with a message like in the subject.I tried running the validator beforehand, tried 2 different unzip tools, tried to run as administrator, no difference.When I skip the port number it shows me the usage message, as expected.I'm a little stuck here, please any pointers? btw, docker is running, I can use docker cmd line. -Voytek

I am able to successfully generate sitemap for config.author.  I have following configuration in config.author.local However, sitemap-index is not getting generated. I also have following content in filter.any## Allow AEM sitemaps/0073 { /type "allow" /path "/content/*" /selectors '(sitemap-index|sitemap)' /extension "xml" } Rewrite rules# allow sitemap accessRewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} ((sitemap-index|sitemap).xml)$RewriteRule ^(.+)\/?$ ${lc:$1} [PT,L] Could someone please help on how to generate sitemap-index. We just launched Brand Portal, and are having a process to have users onboarded via our HelpDesk But users keep requesting access via brand portal, even though we disabled that option in Brand Portal setup The "request access" link is hidden on the login screen, but if they try to sign up, creating adobe id etc, they end up in the Request access to Brand Portal screen. Any way to prevent that ?

I am using an RTE inside the coral multifield dialog. Foundation.js is throwing this error "The field doesn't support FoundationField#setName" While trying to add a multifield. This is causing issue while saving the dialog. Values are not getting stored inside component nodes properly. I have added composite={Boolean}true property in the multifield. Still issue is happening. This issue is happening only with RTE inside multifield.

Hi all,  I'm working on creating the new environment by copying the other environment complete crx-quickstart. After that I made the required changes to connect with S3 bucket. But, how should i ensure object are upload into S3 bucket since millions of object i couldn't able to sort in S3 bucket as last modified.  I could see files under datastore in 3 folder. After object uploaded into datastore, below folder will be cleared ?  repository/datastoreDownloaduploadtmp Please suggest how should i confirm.
