We have a requirement to sort custom columns in SearchResults Page, when we use filter option in sites console or global AEM Sites search. We have custom columns like Book Title, Book No, Book Author & Book Cost.   Request URL: http://localhost:4502/mnt/overlay/granite/ui/content/shell/omnisearch/searchresults.html   We are getting values for all these custom columns in sorted order based on only one single property as follows:   Path: /apps/settings/cq/search/facets/sites/jcr:content/items/orderby Property: Value listOrder: 4 metaType: hidden name: orderby sling:resourceType: granite/ui/components/coral/foundation/form/hidden value: jcr:content/cq:lastModified   We want to sort data on click of each header columns up/down arrow in ascending & descending order.   Please suggest the way to implement this particular requirement.   @arunpatidar @nirmal_jose @nitesh_kumar-1 @pulkit_jain_ @smacdonald2008  @ki

I am trying to follow the AEM Brightcove Connector installation guide to set-up my AEM instance with Brightcove connector.Please note I am trying this setup on my ocal vanilla AEM 6.5 instance containing aem-service-pkg-6.5.18.0.zip. Issues/Conflicts:Installation guide for On-Premises mentions to install the brightcove-all...zip file from the https://github.com/brightcove/Adobe-AEM-Brightcove-Connector/releases/ (refer below image for reference). But on the release page there is no 'brightcove.all-<version>.zip' for On-Premise, instead it contains 'brightcove_connector.ui.apps-<version>.zip' .After installation of 'brightcove.all-<version>.zip', the 'Brightcove Service' configuration is missing from the AEM Web Console configuration manager (which is mentioned on the installation guide 'Configuration' page. Refer below screenshot for reference). Can anyone help with the above scenario?Any inputs/help would be appreciated. Thanks in a

Hello Community - I have a maven project which has only the core module and don't have any other modules(ui.apps, ui.content, ui.config,ui.all) in it. I'd like to create a bundle and encapsulate it in the package, so that when you install package which should install the bundle automatically. I can do this if I add a ui.app module to the project, but it's not required for me. I've been trying to add a filevault plugin to the core module, but the package doesn't actually install the bundle. If you've already done a similarly requirement, can someone please let me know if this is the case and share more details to get it?

I have a author-required media-type dropdown with options of image and video. Again video type as aem video and Vidyard options. 

Hello,we are currently trying to setup and rollout automatic translations using Microsoft. (AEM Sites 6.5.16 on AMS).With this we have configured the setup of language copies and translations as described here:https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-65/content/sites/administering/introduction/tc-msconf.html?lang=en We get successful translations using a trail subscription key. So the setup itself works and we have translations.But we have issues to use our licensed key given by Microsoft / Azure. When we enter these keys we are always getting a 401 connection issue in the trace logs. Within the translation process there is no error displayed. It succeeds to completed, but it just does not translate the content.We tried together with our provider to generate new keys for the subscription, but any of them are failing. I have a CUG login form component created, that can compare against local user accounts and return username and groups the user is assigned to in the author instance. When I ran this in my local publish instance, it returned results fine. However, it seems like that /libs/granite/security/currentuser.json is not available at all on cloud manager publisher instances. It is only returning 404. Am I doing something wrong by trying to reach that file to log users in and get user detail, or am I missing something?

I have the scenario that I have 2 sites site1.company.com and site2.company.com on AEM, both of them have protected pages (CUGs), and both of them are integrated with the same IDP using SAML Authentication Handler. SAML Authentication Handler is also set to handle logout.When a user logs in to one of the sites then also will be automatically authenticated when accessing the protected page on the second one. When a user logs out from one site then also it should be logged out from IDP and from the second site. The question is connected to the Single Logout mechanism. When the user logs out from one site, it triggers SAML Handler and the handler uses the logout URL of IDP to log out of the user also from IDP. This logout triggers IDP to send a SAML Logout Request to the second site to log out. Questions:To what URL on AEM I should send SAML Logout Request to handle this logout on second site on AEM, is it /system/sling/logout?resource=resource_used_to_log_in?What type

http://localhost:8080/content/anything/us/en/jcr:content.txtthis servlet I am hiiting from post man without passing any credentials and it is giving me response . but this is not getting cached ... if I want to cache it what needs to be done ? I am also not doing any authorization check in dispatcher level . note : when i am accessing any page normally then in logs i do not see "request contains authorization"and it properly get cache or served from cache . why only for servlet it shows "request contains authorization" and no cache happens?  I do not want to do this -->/allowAuthorized "1"

Hello.  we have a project archetype and we need to install https://github.com/adobe/adobe-learning-manager-reference-site/tree/master packages - core, ui.apps and others - on cloud manager too. Can someone please help on standard approach of doing this.  Thank you. 

I am performing the build on the cloud in a development environment, and the build fails in the package structure with the message "Unable to read manifest file (invalid manifest format) -> [Help 1]." In the local environment, everything works correctly and as expected. I believe that this message is not the actual issue but that the problem lies elsewhere. The project has two folders, 'ui.frontend' and 'ui.frontend.sites.' Additionally, it is configured with JCR and filters.xml. I have also tried running the 'mvn clean package' command, which, according to the documentation, triggers the cloud build, but locally, there are no issues. I have also verified that there are no dependencies accessible only from my local environment. Thank you for any suggestions.

When I try to do synchronization from live copy, it is deleting the local modifications and updating the inherited content.I was trying to add the content inside containter(cq:isContainer)- but still same issue.For example, In live copy  - I have cancelled the inheritance of the container and replaced the component inside container with new component. Now I have to sync the other content in same live copy, so I am trying to do synchronization.When I do that, content which is inherited to blueprint get updated but container(not inherited) which has local modification got deleted.Need help in finding the solution.Thanks in Advance

We are planning to move from static templates to editable templates. As a best practice should we commit component content policy's that are defined for each components in code base or keep it editable for the authors. What challenges do we face with either approach.

Hi Devs/Archs,      I used latest version of aemsdk (2023.12) and used form-add-on 2023.10. when i start my fresh aem instance(java aem-author-p4502.jar) and copy past the aem forms add-on(author\crx-quickstart\install), im getting  service not available error. Kindly please advise on this issue. Does it require license for aemascs as well.?

I would like to install pdfservices-sdk-4.0.0.jar in my local AEM instance and it is asking to upgrade slf4j api to 2.0.0 version or higher. I tried to install/upgrade the slf4j-api bundle from slf4j-api-1.7.32.jar to slf4j-api-2.0.9.jar in my AEM system/console. But it is unable to upgrade the version and other bundles are having dependency with the 1.7.32 version. Because of this it is breaking the environment.  Is there any solution to upgrade the bundle with higher version and all other bundles will refer to the newer version of slf4j api. Or is it a good idea to make use/copy paste the available classes from pdfservices-sdk-4.0.0.jar into our maven project so that we can skip the use of dependency into our custom project.Appreciate your suggestions. Hi experts, Smart tags is automatically enabled in AEMaaCS. May i know how to disable it through OSGI Config or through code ? I know it can be done at the each assets folder using Asset Processing tab. Is there any OSGI feature flag for it ?

We have a request from internal IT, if we can run AEM with https with out using dispatcher. currently we are accessing the aem instance using http://host:port, but they intend us to use https://host:port, what should we do to let AEM run on https on the same port?

Hi,two pages are showing this message on AEM after I edited the pages and published them: " Unexpected Error: Looks like we are having some issues with our service. We are working hard to bring it online again". One page is the same as before and working but the other is an error 500 on the website. 

user is unable to view the extensions when logged into experience.adobe.comallowed pop-up, still the same, reset IE, still sameshared my screen and tried, it workedRecreated user windows profile, still the sametried on an alternate machine, still the same.Logged into a newly imaged machine wth my credentials, it workedLogged out and had the user try, it worked.

AEM Community, I am facing an issue with OSGI service variables. I have two author instances of AEM v6.5.17 running on 4502 and 4504 ports. I use mvn clean install -PautoInstallPackage command to build and deploy the project on any of the two instances. I also have some configurations in place in the OSGI that work as environment variables for me. The issue is when I target 4504, the OSGI service variables are persistent. However, when the target is 4502, the OSGI service variables are removed. I have tried to remove instance on 4502 and run a fresh new instance on 4502, but still the same behaviour. Any support regarding this is highly appreciated.

Hello Support, We are facing a issue in ACS AEM Common page Audit log report. We have created a report which will show following data 1. Page path2. User (Who published the page)3. Activity (Action)4. Time  Our page undergoes an approval workflow overseen by an administrator. When a user makes changes, a workflow is initiated, sending the page for approval to the master admin. Upon approval by the master admin, the page is then published. In the page audit log report, the name displayed as 'workflow-process-service' instead of the master admin.
