Hello All, I have CustomEventHandler class which implements  EventHandler interface.handleEvent method is called during page activation, deactivation, deletion time. Here, I need to mention the page path. I mean if a page is present under /content/abc/project/en then only my custom event handler should trigger. I need to mention multiple page path.   /content/abc/project/en,   /content/xyz/project/enAny help in this?

Is there a way to set any AEM Guides object to "translate = No" at the object/asset level? We do have some master files that are graphics only and without any text to translate, they can get "stuck" in our TMS. In our previous system, we could set any topic or graphic not to translate within the repository. Is there the same option in AEM? I'm working on an Adaptive Form that uses a custom Document of Record template that was created in AEM Forms Designer. I'd like to use the 'Verify Step' form component to display the generated Document of Record on the last panel of the form.  Unfortunately when I try to do this the Verify Step component just displays 'Loading'. Am I doing something wrong, or does this component not work with custom DOR templates?  

We have Next Generation Dynamic Media set up, so we can select and use remote images for any of components that may contain an image. I'm trying to figure out how I can get the width and height of this image if it is remote. I know how to do it with local images by checking the renditions, but I'm not sure what to do for remote images. I was thinking of just using the image url with BufferedReader to get the image details, but I was wondering if there's some built in way to do it through one of Adobe's libraries.

Hi,On clicking  "Export Metadata" button in the menu after selecting a sample folder in assets. Iam taken to the "Export Details" page, click on the "export" button after configuring the report. i do get a pop-up saying "Your Metadata bulk export task has been initiated. you will be notified on successful completion".But, the task never complets successfully. i am not getting a notification in my AEM inbox, nor do i see the success records in "Jobs" folder in navigation. can anyone tell me how to troubleshoot this?. were to look for?.i created error log in log support by adding com.adobe.cq.wcm.jobs.async.impl.AsyncMoveConfigProviderService class. nothing shows up on the log. nothing shows up in the error log too. curiously this workflow works in our lower environments. any help appreciated. thanks

I am trying to implement the mandatory field test using 'mandatory' or 'nullTest' properties by following the example in the official site here.  I have a textfield, and a button. On the button click event I have the below code TextField1.mandatory = "error" TextField1.mandatoryMessage = "this field is mandatory!"The expected behavior is to highlight the text field if it is empty and display the mandatory message. However, I've encountered an issue where, on the first button click, the message is not immediately visible. It only becomes visible on the second click. I am using AEM Form v6.5 (128 bit), and I'm wondering if this behavior is related to specific settings. Could someone kindly advise on why the mandatory message might not be visible on the first click? Your assistance is greatly appreciated. Attached the PDF form for your reference. Thanks.

I tried writing a scheduler job using the Job class but somehow it won't execute. It keeps throwing null as an exception. Hi all, On this subject I am going through AEM and Adobe Commerce Integration using Commerce Integration Framework | Adobe Experience ManagerIt says, "Within CIF, there is support for server-side and client-side communication patterns.". What is the difference between server-side and client-side communications here?When to use each of these? I am not looking for any code as such.But could someone point me to case study where this AEM and Adobe Commerce (Magento) integration is done at an architectural level?For example, at GraphQL level so and so is done, at CIF layer so and so is done, etc. Appreciate all your replies. Thanks,Rama.

Hello All, In Lighthouse report for our website it provides recommendation: Avoid an excessive DOM sizeWhen we create AEM components it adds some extra wrapper class thats why DOM is getting increased if there is page having more components.Is there any way we can reduce DOM size? Like any setting in AEM to remove wrapper classes or datalayer classes.

How to handle this scenerio with different ways:- Approval workflow for sending the inbox notification to a_reviewer, and check if the reviewer does not approve it within 2 hours send the notification to a_escalation. If anyone approves it should write approvedBy - a_review or b_escalation.

I referred below Community posts where its highlighted that "AEM 6.5 onwards, if you activate an XF, the page referencing the XF will be flushed from the dispatcher". Can anybody point me to the Official Adobe documentation to support this. We are trying to generate a "Normalized DITA" output for a map.The output is getting generated. But it is zipped. 1. How do I generate output in /content/dam/fmdita-outputs/dita that is not zipped. I want the output in a folder, just like how the json output is created. Is there any configurations in the backend that we can change to enable this?oris there any post generation workflow that can do that?

Hi, I need to remove the OOTB roles (Observer, Editor and Owner) and replace them with the custom roles.I created the new roles under /apps/<my-app>/projects/<project-name>/roles.The new roles start appearing in the list, but the default ones are not replaced. Has anyone had a similar requirement.
