In Native PDF, what is the best way to publish a subtitle on a first page? In our current OT setup, we use "outputclass" from the <Title> element to populate the subtitle content. I have attached the DITA for an example. I know I can potentially set up a field in the asset's Properties, but is there any way I can leverage what we currently have in our DITA? Since the tag is outside of the <topicmeta>, I haven't had success with the general directions. (I'm still on Guides version 4.2.229, in case that matters!) Thanks for any help!Josh

Hi All, Unable to see "Auto-start workflow" option on asset folders in Local AEMaaCs SDK. Looks like this feature is not enabled on any local set up its available on the Cloud Service Instance. Anyone can you let me know, how to configure custom workflow on folder for development activity as it involves lot of back and forth code fixes would happen based on test result. Requirement to trigger custom workflow (post processing workflow) configured on the folder where assets upload happen. When upload of asset complete needs to auto-trigger custom workflow for updating custom metadata on assets.Can you share your thoughts around it. 

Hi all,While going through this tutorial I encountered an issue with the using "npm run watch". It does not update the files under ui.apps... I'm on Windows 10 using AEM cloud. might be best explain with an example   These are 6 sample nodes   /content/myhost/products/shoes/mens/shoe1 /content/myhost/products/shoes/mens/shoe2 /content/myhost/products/shoes/womens/shoe1 /content/myhost/products/shoes/womens/shoe2 /content/myhost/products/shoes/kids/shoe1   I want to return all nodes where the node name = "shoe1" BUT I do NOT want to return node5. So in my sample nodes, no1 and 3 will be included. Node5 is not included.   How can I do it?   I looked at the nodes and there's nothing in the node properties that can help me. Hi! I'm a front end content manager trying to determine the best way to build an accordion. I have one already built using page layout/visualizer components. I would like to fill individual accordion tabs with reusable content on different pages in a future state. In my current accordion construction the content in each tab is more than just text and is a combination of images, video, and in some cases nested accordions, and is generally more complex than just text. I've looked at CONTENT FRAGMENTS, however since they're just text based it seems that they don't quite fit the bill since I won't have the control over the layout as I did building the entire accordion on the page via the visualizer. Is there a full Rich Text editor available in CONTENT FRAGMENT where I can add HTML?  It may just be turned off for me, which I can request access from my dev team?Can EXPERIENCE FRAGMENTS be used to fill a accordion tab(s)? Expected BehaviourWhen using the dispatcher module with the associated Resource Resolver Factory rewrite rule, images referenced in /content/wknd should resolve.Actual BehaviourAny images in the Image Core Component don't resolve correctly due to rewrite and mapping rules.The image component maps the path from /content/wkdn/us/en/.... to /us/en/... causing them to return 404 at Apache/Dispatcher as they are not mapping to the page's path in the repository. Please help me on this issue. Hello, what happens is that I have a template that has a java model with information (name, description, etc), this model receives the information from AiO and then map it in the frontend html file, but what I want to implement in the frontend is a button that prints a pdf file in the using information from the java model of the template. The creation of the pdf is done in a java file using a library called itext7 to create the pdf and to be able to call this function from the frontend I use a JavaScript file to make the request by ajax. But I have the problem that to make the pdf I need to use the information of the template model, my question then is: how do I pass the information of the java model of the template to my java servlet that makes the pdf? I try to send the information of the java model of the template to the java servlet that makes the pdf but through an interface but java doesn't allow it, because the java model of the template is a class and it doesn't

I am trying to create an AEM linked folder at either the Program level or Task level, but always get the "Oops, Something Went Wrong" message. I can do it at the Project level, but I have assets that are campaign-wide (Program) and task-specific. Linking folders to those specific document locations would be much preferred. Is this a known issue? PS. I hate the flippant "Oops Something Went Wrong" message. So much

Hi, I am working on a website that has a form for updating some details. The form data is stored as a JSON file in the DAM folder of the publish server (AEMaaCS). The update operation works fine, but I have a problem with data synchronization. I want to make sure that the JSON file is consistent across all the publishers. However, I sometimes get different data when I read the data from the files due to requests from different publishers. I want to data to be updated in all publishers upon submission. If data is in sync then we can get consistent data when we read from the publisher. How can I solve this issue and ensure data accuracy? Thanks in advance!

Hi All, vanity in page properties works fine i.e https://www.test.com/abc redirects to https://www.test.com/en/samplepage.html but to make it redirect to with using query parameter , do we have any custom solution to manage from page properties how we can append parameter fname=aa&lname=bb from page properties itself to make author driven  i.e https://www.test.com/abc should redirect to https://www.test.com/en/samplepage.html?fname=aa&lname=bb or https://www.test.com/en/samplepage?fname=aa&lname=bb  

Trying to enforce file name structure and most of the "building blocks" of our valid file names are extant in metadata.  What I envision is this: When creating a new DITA file or related asset have the author fill out the metadata first and have the filename automatically built from those values. Thoughts?

In the Admin Console, I granted the A group all default role permissions for Cloud Manager and assigned the AEM Users and AEM Administrators roles for the CloudService-dev environment. However, members of the A group are unable to edit or create pages in AEM, and they can access the Developer Console. Does the Cloud Service permission synchronization require time?

Hi all. In 6.2 ootb there is no Checkbox field available in the Metadata Schema Editor. However upon closer inspection, file /libs/dam/gui/coral/components/admin/schemaforms/formbuilder/builditems.jsp has it commented out. If I overlay this file and uncomment, it becomes available, and seems to function, but upon further testing, is not functional, as values do not save out properly to JCR.Anyone know what's up with this? Is this going to be addressed soon? Seems a little weird that this basic field missed the cut in an otherwise well thought-out editor. Is it up to the implementer to fix this?! Any advice appreciated.

Hola, estamos buscando la forma de que desde adobe aem sites sólo se puedan ver los assets con status='approved' y que este filtro que viene con la palntilla de filtro por defecto no pueda ser editado o modificado por los usuarios. Es decir que sites sólo pueda trabajar con assets aprovados y que esta regla no pueda ser modificada. Muchas gracias
