Adobe Experience Manager

I’ve configured the Apache jackrabbit oak TokenConfiguration  in AEM 6.5 to set token expiry, and it works as expected.   However, it doesn’t consider user inactivity — the session expires only after the configured time, regardless of whether the user is active or idle.   I’m thinking of adding a client-side JavaScript to detect inactivity and force logout, ideally by loading it globally in the author environment.   Is there any official or supported clientlib category that loads globally at the instance level (i.e., across all authoring UIs like Sites, Assets, etc.)?   Thanks in advance!-Sravan

The issue is with the Coral 3 nested multi field in AEM 6.5 where the dialog scrolls automatically to the bottom when we add a new item. It becomes more complex if data is being added more by the author. While checking at the console I was getting a jquery event being generated from createpagewizard.js. when ever we click on the add button and the scroll to the bottom behaviour triggers. Is this an expected behaviour or do we have any working solution to restrict this scroll bottom ? 

Hi, there is no "Save and close" option in editing the properties for an AEM asset (image). Some images in the same folder do have this option to "Save and close" whereas images like below only have "Close" Is there any reason why it could be? Thank you 

I have images that I have expired on AEM where the subject has removed permission for us to use their images. When I insert the image using Assets on Adobe Express - I am able to see an "Expired tag" beneath the image, however when I insert the image via Adobe Asset Link on InDesign or Photoshop - no expired tag appears and I am able to use the image as normal.Would this be an error, or is this functionality not available with AEM Asset Link?  If a functionality issue, is this available with other AEM Products? I am currently using AEM Essentials.

Hello!I need to implement Security Headers in the PROD environment, but it is not working, but it works in the developer and stage environments.I use the website https://securityheaders.com/ to validate if the Headers are working and it returns a grade of F (no headers implemented) in the prod url, but returns a grade of A (excellent implementation) in the dev and stage publish links.All my backend files in the dev, stage and prod environments are the same, with the same implementations, but the headers only appear in the dev and stage publish, they do not appear in the Prod environment.

Why is my AEM QA instance experiencing service outages when I invoke a servlet that exports image paths to an Excel file, especially when large content trees are involved.Error  --   Service Outage: Looks like we are having some issues with our service. I have a customer form that is being rendered in 6.1 and the fields appears to be behaving like floating fields.  You can see the below picture that the <period> is flush against the word SCRUBBED12.    The same XDP rendered in 6.5 is as expected - fixed width. You can see in Designer, it is not a floating field.  It is a Text Field overlaid on to Static Text. What is unusual is that UNDER the field is the following static text. I have never seen this.  Is this some notation for floating fields? Thanks,Charles   

I have configured a dedicated egress IP address for my AEM as a Cloud Service environment following the Cloud Manager settings. I have enabled the dedicated egress IP with the IP range. However, outbound traffic still does not seem to originate from the dedicated IP address.What common steps or configurations might I be missing to make this setup work correctly? Hi, If we have some pages and content fragments (used for filters) tagged with certain tag values listed in the AEM Tag Console, and we no longer want those tags to be used or visible to authors, will unpublishing the tags in AEM Tag console cause any issues or breaks in the pages and content fragments experience that were already tagged with those values? Thanks,Shashank

Hi all, We have a strange issue in our setup - We are using Imperva as WAF and has been configured correctly by doing the below things following Customer managed CDN points to AEM managed CDN-Point WAF to the Adobe CDN’s ingress as its origin domain.Set SNI to the Adobe CDN’s ingress.Set the Host header to the origin domain. For example: Host:publish-p<PROGRAM_ID>-e<ENV-ID>.adobeaemcloud.com.Set the X-Forwarded-Host header with the domain name so AEM can determine the host header. For example: X-Forwarded-Host:example.com.Set X-AEM-Edge-Key. Hey guys, I am working on oak indexing and I have the below issue - There is a customization of an OOTB index cqPageLucene. We are adding some additional paths to index by adding properties "includedPaths=/content/commerce/offers" and "querypaths=/content/commerce/offers"Else, the index is exactly the same as OOTB index. Following Index Names -Customization of an OOTB index. These are indicated by appending -custom- followed by a numerical identifier to the original index name. For example: /oak:index/cqPageLucene-custom-1However, the deployment of the above index is leading to AEM Sites Search not working on the authoring site.Removing the index is fixing the problem. We tried below 2 approaches to fix the problem -Rename the index to cqPageLucene-custom-2Rename the index altogether to something custom like cqOffer-custom-1But ideally even the first index name cqPageLucene-custom-1 is correct and should have worked! BR,Nagesh

Hi everyone,I'm investigating a POST request to the following endpoint in our AEM as a Cloud Service environment: POST /content/dam/<project>/it/folder.bulkassets.delete From the Developer Console, I can see it's handled by the standard servlet:com.day.cq.dam.commons.ui.impl.servlets.BulkDeleteServlet(from the com.day.cq.dam.cq-dam-commons bundle). I'm trying to understand what UI action triggers this servlet. I expected it to be related to selecting multiple assets in the DAM console and clicking "Delete", but when I perform that action, I only see requests to /bin/wcmcommand.Has anyone seen this servlet in action? Specifically:Which UI or user action triggers bulkassets.delete?Is it used only in the classic DAM console, or also in the Universal Editor?Could it be triggered by automated processes or scripts?Any insights or experiences would be greatly appreciated. Hi,We're using a custom ACS Commons Generic List as a data-source for dropdowns in our Content Fragment Models. Initially, when we update the data-source node in CRXDE to point to our custom Generic List, everything works as expected—the dropdown populates correctly.However, the issue arises when we open the model in the AEM UI and save it. The sling: resource Type of the data-source node reverts to the default:dam/cfm/admin/components/datasources/optionrendererenumeration. It seems like the model editor is overwriting our custom data-source configuration upon save. This behaviour is causing our dropdown to lose the custom list reference.Are there any recommended approaches to persist the custom data-source configuration or prevent the UI from resetting it?Please provide any suggestions or workarounds if possible.Thank you so much in advance!

Hello, Universal Editor supports Experience Fragments (XF) [1], but does this work in combination with Edge Delivery Services (EDS)? There is an EDS block called Fragment [2], but the sample is built only for document-based editing, and I am not sure if it works with AEM. Has anyone tried it? Does it work? Which resource type should be used for the XF page and components?
