I'm using AEM 6.3My servlet config is@Component(service= Servlet.class, property={ Constants.SERVICE_DESCRIPTION + "=Example Servlet", "sling.servlet.methods=" + HttpConstants.METHOD_GET, "sling.servlet.resourceTypes="+ "my-project/components/general/my-component ", "sling.servlet.extensions=" + "html", "sling.servlet.selectors=" + "simple" })As you can see I'm not using a page as a resourceType so I'm a little confused. Can anyone tell me what will be the url to hit on browser so it runs my doGet Method. And yes My servlet works as I have tested it by giving path.

How can I disable (greyed out) the download icon  for an asset as it is an OOTB functionality.Do I need to overlay any particular node for the same? @theo_pendle @arunpatidar @vijayalakshmi_s @briankasingli

I installed docusign and docusign for salesforce CPQ on my demo org, but i am not able to see any of the fields or related sections under the Quote Document object. I tried to proceed with the integration and finished the steps required on the docusign website, but when i send out a document i am not able to get a response back.

Hello everybody,I have a question regarding the definition of the status column, which can be found under Navigation -> Assets -> Files (List-View) (Touch-UI), see also the following screenshot.Currently I have no further idea where and under which term I should search. The version of the running AEM instance is 6.5.3.If one of you has a hint or can even tell me directly what is displayed in the column and how to generate it, I would really appreciate it.Thanks a lot for your help in advance.Best regardsMarcus

I have a code that compiles apttus data from many company files into one large file. Some files will have blank values for the FirstRow so it pulls in the headers and blank cells. Instead, I would like to use an If statement to skip the file if the FirstRow is blank. Hi,I'm trying to find a way to set up the header on the home page so that the image changes automatically each day for a number of days to support a competition we're running.  As each image is taken down from the page they need to be added to a gallery page with info about the image.  Again, I would like to be able to set this up so this automatically updates each day. The info I've found so far suggests that you can only activate and deactivate at a page level and that it's not possible to update elements of a page automatically. Does anyone know if there's a way to do this please? Thanks, Mary

We have Apttus via which we use docusign and they use the classic UI of docusign.Now we have enabled embedded signing for certain users and when we invoke the docusign URL, the UI is of the new docusign which is not a consistent User experience.We are using the same account so wanted to check what do we need to disable or enable to have the Classic UI for both user sets

Hi,I have a requirement to implement image rendition based on AEM components. Each component is having different variations. So I have to run different launchers based on dam locations with different workflow models for each component. I have tried this scenario, The problem is default "DAM UPDATE ASSETS"  workflow is also running when I try to add an image for my custom location under dam. Is There any way of skipping to run dam update assets workflow for specific dam locations.if so I can only run my custom workflow for specific dam locations to get different rendition variations  ? This approach is fine ? 

Hello everyone, As I am quite new to the world of Adobe Assets I apologize if this question has already been raised and solved. What I am interested in is what are the options, and best practices, for searching for a desired asset via the AEM Assets API? The user of my app is allowed to enter the search keywords which correspond to the asset metadata attributes. Based on the user input my application should return the desired asset which is stored in the DAM. However I am not sure what is the best way to achieve this in Adobe AEM Assets? v.6.5 I appreciate the help

I've noticed that in card view, newly added assets can either be at the top of the folder UI or at the bottom? All are marked "new" and folder properties are typically the same, sometimes orderable is selected (I understand orderable is for moving around in list view - not card).   Because there are often 1000's of assets in a folder I want to force all new assets to top of the folder for all folders in the system.   I know we can filter on last modified or use list view but that is another set of clicks and it would be good to know how AEM treats ingesting content into folders. 

Hi Experts, Need your advise. Background:We have a multi-tenant AEM Assets environment with two brands, where either brand users can't see each others assets including in omni search results (managed through Permissions). We currently have a taxonomy like /content/dam/brand-1/.. and /content/dam/brand-2/.. They both share the same metadata schema and we don't have any cross-brand user use-cases.  Problem statement:Brand-2 has search requirements that are contradictory to Brand-1. For e.g. Brand-1 should NOT be able to search the keyword against a particular metadata property while Brand-2 should be. Hence, we have a situation where we can't handle both search requirements using one custom search index definition (?) and there's also no way to explicitly define which Index to pick per content path or per User/group (?)So, I would like to know your views on possible solutions ? Thanks. 

I am using AEM assets to create documentation. I have a document with a lot of codeblocks. Is there any way to do syntax highlighting of code? I tried using the outputclass attribute for the codeblock, but that did not seem to do anything.

Looking for a solution to ensure naming conventions aren't broken with uploads through Asset Link or the desktop app, has anyone been able to solve for this validation outside the touch UI?

We have one requirement like client want to upload asset in to S3 bucket and want to pull asset automatically in to AEM.     For example: If user uploaded the asset in to S3 bucket then immediately asset should ingest in to AEM.    Any idea or approach to achieve this kind on requirement? 2. Dear All, I am using Latest ACS AEM CSV Asset Importer and trying to import images from my local drive (C:\Users\sunita_c\dam) to AEM local instance , as shown below screenshot.   In my local I am getting success message and upload the images are successful. 2) When I am doing the same steps in my Development environment (which is in Linux server) , Then I am not able to upload the images. It is not taking the relSrcPath that is C:\Users\sunita_c\dam\images... Is anybody faced similar issue ? "or" any work around for this ? 

Requirement to assign a workflow approval to two groups [1] and [2], if member of group [1] approves first then workflow should not wait for group[2] approvalvice versa if member of group[2] approves first workflow should not wait for group[1] approval.The main concern here is both the groups [1] and [2] users AEM inbox page should be seen.We have tried below options.Tried and "or split" and "and split" but both are not satisfying actual requirement.Tried time out and advance setting on one of the participant step to auto approve if once groups approves first.Tried groups [1] and [2] added to group[3] and group[3] mapped to participant step.Please provide if we can achieve using any customization. technically two groups should assign to participant step in the workflow.

Hi all, What I would like to achieve is the following. Based on the specified dimension and an asset title I would like to find all the asset renditions which correspond to the search criteria. Currently I am using the QueryBuilder API as I am not working in Java but it seems impossible that in just one call to the AEM I manage to get the wanted rendition. What would be the best way for search the image renditions?Looking forward to your ideas!

Hi Team, This use case is for cleaning of the assets from the author which are unreferenced and we want to have the same use case for workflow deactivation of the page  Below is the use case:Step 1: Create page A and use image component with image A authored and publish the page A.(NOTE : Image A is newly uploaded asset and is referenced only in page A. Also it is published.)Step 2: go to damadmin and open image A - if we see under the references tab - it will list only one reference i.e. page AStep 3: Now update the image component with image B in page A and do not publish the page A.Step 4: In Author - Page A has image B referenced and in Publish - Page A has image A referenced. Assuming we want to clean up unreferenced assets then Image A is orphan as it is not having any references. We have a requirement to relate 2 or more assets using bulk import process wherein related assets information will be available in cvs/xlsx.Not sure if AEM provides any such OOB functionality, any thoughts/suggestions to achieve the ask are much appreciated. Thanks

Hi All,We have a path in AEM - lets say /content/dam/folderA , whenever there is a tiff uploaded we need to assign tag - tag1 to tiffs and whenever there is a jpg uploaded we want to apply tag tag2 to it.How can we accomplish this with metadata schemas and profiles?I could create a metadata profile and assign a tag to everything getting uploaded into a folder, but could not figure out how would I selectively do it for one mimetype or extension. I understand we could do it with a simple workflow and  a launcher at that folder, but looking if this could be done with metadata schema and profiles alone.

In our project we are using Adobe OOTB workflow steps in our custom workflows, the workflow email are utilizing the template located at /etc/workflow/notification/email/default/en.txt .
