Adobe Experience Manager Edge Delivery Services

Hi everyone, For security reason, we are not allowed to use github.com as code repository for Edge Delivery Service. Is there any way to use internal code repository instead of github.com. Is there any documents or guide on how to change the default code repository. 

We are using Universal Editor with Edge Delivery Service, I would like to know how to customise the OOTB text styles available in Text Default content type. For this particular example I would like to add more options available in the dropdown,  along H1-6, paragraph and preformatted options (as in screenshot attached). It's not possible to apply any customisations inside RTE fields through the json model.Could you advise on the problem? 

Hi All, Currently EDS content importer only works for Document base authoring. Does anybody have the information that by when it would be available for Universal Editor Authoring.

I need to create social icons (instead of standard ones) as wknd site and integrate them properly in my project.

I am trying to access nav.html and footer.html directly from scripts, but I am consistently getting a 404 error. Is EDS intentionally blocking access to nav.html and footer.html?However, I am able to access nav.plain.html and footer.plain.html without any issues. The problem is that plain HTML does not include data attributes, making styling more difficult.Is there any way to directly retrieve the full header and footer HTML using URLs like:https://<branch>--<repo>--<owner>.aem.page/nav.htmlhttps://<branch>--<repo>--<owner>.aem.page/footer.htmlRight now, both URLs return 404 errors. Let me know if there’s a workaround!

Hi, I'm trying to create an accordion block, and another accordion item inside it. The requirement is to be able to add other blocks such as image, title, video inside accordion item.  Below is my filter.json file.{    "id": "accordion",    "components": ["accordion-item"]  },  {    "id": "accordion-item",    "components": ["text", "image", "button", "cards", "title", "teaser"]  }When I click on accordion item, I'm not able to see 'plus icon' to add any blocks. Is it possible in EDS to do it or any other ways I could do that. Please let me know. Thanks.

I just want to clarify few points in Edge Delivery Services Repository Management(mainly for Universal editor).For form submission, I have followed this article (https://main--afb--adobe.hlx.live/docs/crosswalk/submit) This article says for form submission we need to modify CORS Configuration & Referrer Filter, but there are no such config files(OSGi & dispatcher files) in EDS code base/repository. Do we need to do these changes in separate AEM repository? If yes, then I have below questions, Does EDS have strong dependent on AEM Repo? Can form submission be done independently using EDS repo?

Hi,I want to utilize a Content fragment and use it on one of the blocks in edge delivery services, I tried using the Asset API and GraphQL to utilize the content fragment data but the data was accessible only when the URL was of AEM env and it failed on the dispatcher URL provided by the Edge delivery services.sample URL : https://main--{project-name}--{github-name}.hlx.page/How can I achieve it on the dispatcher URLs as well, please guide me through the process Thank you

I want to create button with more types. Currently, it only takes primary, secondary and tertiary in select component. Is there any possible ways to achieve this if I need more variations for button block?

Hi all,I'm adding a new block to my EDS project, I edited the component-definition.json file for new component definition, the component-models.json for model and the component-filters.json file to enable the component to be added under sections. I'm currently working on a branch detached from main branch and I'm using the "ref" query param to refer to this branch in the Universal Editor. I committed the code on my branch and I can see it in the available blocks that I can add under sections. I can add the component and configure the two text properties (1 richtext and 1 text) of the defined model and I can see them with their values in the editor preview without problems, but when I publish the content in Preview and in Publish and I access the link https://<branch>--<repo>--<owner>.aem.page I see the page and the component wrapper but I cannot see the properties values, I see only an empty <div></div> inside the component wrapper. Hello guys,I finished the setup for EDS with Google Docs and it works like a charm.Next step was to setup EDS with an AEM Cloud Instance. I went through all steps described here: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-cloud-service/content/edge-delivery/wysiwyg-authoring/edge-dev-getting-started#prerequisitesIt did not humbled over any point, but changed content isn't reflected to any site, so I believe, that the project still points to the demo project and not my AEM instance. Here are some information.My GitHub project: https://github.com/PublicisMaikLindner/eds-with-ue-testfstab.yaml:path.json: I changed and published the index site, but still the demo content is shown.Also I added an additional site and published it, but it shows a 404 when I request this site: I strongly believe, the GitHub-Project still show the demo content.What can I check/change, to get my content behind the URL? Best, Maik   

We have a requirement to create Edge delivery Service repository in Azure DevOps instead of GitHub. Is it possible to use Azure DevOps as a code repo for EDS?

Hey guys, This is a very quick question, but its blocking me from setting up my projects edge delivery final production site. Im following the "Edge Delivery To-Do List" on Adobe Cloud within our program, and got to step 3 which is "Add Edge Delivery site". I filled out the information for that step correctly, for our teams github repo for this site and the clients name - but facing a "Site creation failed" error. (See attached screenshot)Another error comes up when I try to do Step 4 which is "Add domain". I fill out the domain name the client owns, and which will be our EDS's final site destination push, but I receive the error "Domain Creation Failed". (See attached screenshot)Looking for assistance to overcome these errors, as its majorly blocking the pipeline setup. Thanks.

I have a requirement to implement Data-layer integration in Edge Delivery Services similar to the way we implement in aem(https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-learn/sites/integrations/adobe-client-data-layer/data-layer-overview). Hey guys,I recently evaluated the Lighthouse SEO scores for my published EDS (Edge Delivery Service) website and noticed that the SEO score was quite low. To better understand the issue, I also checked the boilerplate SEO score, and it appears to be low as well.I’ve already ensured that metadata is included for each index page, but it seems that web crawlers might be disabled. Has anyone else encountered similar challenges with SEO for EDS sites? I am currently using auto-generated Experience Fragments for the header and footer across multiple pages in AEM with document-based authoring (EDS). However, I need to apply different headers and footers for specific pages instead of using the same auto fragments everywhere. Is there a way to define custom Experience Fragments for the header and footer for certain pages while using document-based authoring? If so, what would be the best approach to achieve this?

Hey everyone,  I am trying to implement a Blogs feature in EDS. I am doing this by creating a dynamic feed from query-index.json using JS fetch. async function loadJSON(path) { if (path) { const resp = await fetch(path); if (resp.ok) { return await resp.json(); } } return null; }This happens in a block with the json path.1. For the URL: `/blogs/` I am fetching all blogs without filtering2. For Tagging, I am using static URLs: `/blogs/<tag>` and adding a filter through the block className by adding a (tag)I have a few questions:For Dynamic filtering, what should I use? Is there a best practice, instead of using static URLs? Are there any other best practices for blogs in EDS?
