Add a custom field validation in pattern

Hi All,

I am new to adaptive form and have a requirement to add custom field validation.

Adaptive forms components comes with some OOB validation patterns like phone number, zipcode, etc and custom(where i can add my script) but i wanted to add my validation as part of dropdown like they have the oob one. can someone guide me how to add one or which components I need to overlay/extend to achieve this?
