Creating a button to attach a file

We are using AEM 6.5.0 and I'm wanting to know how to create a button to attach a file and if there are any issues with it. In other postings I have read where this function does not work without Reader Extension.

yes you would need to reader extend the pdf for it to work with Adobe Reader

Please refer to the sample PDF below which has a button to add/remove/open the attachments. It would work in Acrobat Pro, but to make it work in Acrobat Reader DC you need to Reader Extend the PDF.
