Form Creation/Document Generator

Good Morning,

 

I have recently been advised that expandable text fields are not available in Adobe Reader DC and that Adobe EM does have that functionality. I have two questions:

 

1. Does Adobe EM have expandable text capability.

2. If yes, once I have completed my form, do I still need the Adobe EM licence to run my document generator and secondly, if I need to make changes to the form, do I need the licence?

@rorypower1 You can create expandable fields using designer and unless you need to edit it again the answer to the second part is no. But if you are hosting it on the AEM server and not just a standalone form you will need the license till your form is live.

    Yes, the expandable text field option is available with Adobe Experience Manager Forms Designer. More information here

    Please elaborate - How are you generating documents? Anyways, to make changes to an existing form (to make the fields expandable) you would need a Designer license.
