Getting TypeError: value.indexOf is not a function when loading an adaptive form.

I am getting the following errors when I preview a form. Any ideas as to why this is happening?

Check if your value is a type of string.

    I learned that this is happening when there is an xfa bind reference for the checkbox in my form
