Adobe Experience Manager Forms

Is it possible to disable individual radio button selections using script? In place of resetting the items list and removing items I don't want users to select, I'd like to disable the items so they cannot be selected.ie: If the SOM for my radio button object is: "guide[0].guide1[0].guideRootPanel[0].Application[0].applicationType[0]". Is there an additional property / element that would let me programatically access the individual items?

Hi, I'm doing and upgrade from Adobe Livecycle ES4 SP1 to AEM forms 6.1 on JEE Turnkey. After completing the Configuration, and try to access http://localhost:8080/lc/. I get an Error code 404. I can check if AEM is running on a safe mode on the same port and can access the administrator console. Did I do something wrong on the configuration or what am I miss?Thank you

Are Adaptive forms  WCAG compliant? We are building Adaptive Forms that need to be WCAG compliant. We are trying to figure out the best approach (overlay vs extend) to achieve this.Any information would be helpful. (are there WCAG-compliant UI libraries?)Thanks,Joel

Hi I use a lot of Javascript in custom components. Therefor I use custom properties that I added to the custom component's dialog. I've found that all properties provided by the user via the component's dialog are encoded in the JSP:name="${guide:encodeForHtmlAttr(guideField.name,xssAPI)}"com.adobe.aemds.guide.taglibs.GuideELUtils provides       encodeForHtml(String str, XSSAPI xssapi) encodeForHtmlAttr(String str, XSSAPI xssapi) but does not provide methods for other encoding recommended by https://www.owasp.org/index.php/OWASP_Java_Encoder_Project#tab=Use_the_Java_Encoder_ProjectHow can I protect against XSS using the aem toolset?Thank you, Urs

I want to understand how I can use AEM forms (6.1 without any additional  license. )  My aim is to create a form in AEM and on submission pre-process the data  before submitting it to the external system. Can some one please point to right tutorial(s) for AEM forms ?

I want to have adaptive form as a drag and drop component so that I can drag and drop it anywhere on my template/page. This is because the page will have a lot of other content on page and one parsys. OOTB whatever examples have been given are given of complete template.I explored it and noticed in the template the node guideContainer is present and hence everything with OOTB but when I want to make a component of this its not working.Does anyone know how can I make adaptive form container as a component so that it can be placed in any parsys.Regards,Samir

Hi,Following the setup i can upload a reader extension PFX file to AEM ( https://helpx.adobe.com/aem-forms/6-2/configuring-document-services.html. )What i try to do in a servlet is to create a resource for the a services user "resolverFactory.SUBSERVICE".  Use the keystore of the services account to retrieve the RE key for my document.Question, can a keystore for a services account be used to store the readerExtension key? When i want to retrieve the keystore  i got an error: "The provided userId does not identify an existing user." for "com.adobe.granite.keystore.internal.KeyStoreServiceImpl.retrieveUser(KeyStoreServiceImpl.java:638)"

I am  trying to call a secured Webservice from AEM Workbench. While loading the Webservice we are providing the WSDL url and user name and password in the specified fields. While loading the webservice we are getting 401 unauthorized error.Error message :  Error in loading WSDL:java.io.IOException. Server returned HTTP response code: 401 for URL.The UnSecured webservices are working with workbench. I was able to call the unsecured webservices. only secured webservice is giving the error while loading the webservice.Please help me on this one.

I have a radio button used to show/hide a comment field.  Initially the comment field’s presence is “hidden, exclude from layout” so that when the form opens, thecomment field does not show.  When the radio button is checked, the comment field then displays. Problem:  Once the user selects the radio button and entersdata into the comment field and saves it, how do you get the comment field to display every time the form is opened thus ignoring the “hidden, exclude from layout”setting?   Thank you

Hi,I am running a 6.2 OSGI install.  The adaptive form is based upon XML Schema.  I created a base DOR template per the instructions below.  How do I generate the PDF for user to view and print?  I thought I could use the Verify component, but I get message "Verify works only with XFA-based Adaptive Forms" (see attached screenshot). https://helpx.adobe.com/aem-forms/6-2/generate-document-of-record-for-non-xfa-based-adapti ve-forms.html 

Hi All I am having trouble flattening a pdf. Using LiveCycle it would be done using the OutputService.generatePDFOutput operationHowever the generatePDFOutput method available on com.adobe.fd.output.api.OutputService does not have a TransformationFormat that can be specified to a flat pdf, and its options object also does not seem to have anything that will help with this.So my question is, using the com.adobe.fd library, how would you take a pdf Document that has fields etc, and flatten it? Thanks!Mahendran

Hello, I have tried searching and searching but I cannot find any information on optgroups in AEM aside from the JavaDocs for the GuideDropDownList found here. Does anyone know how to implement the optgroups in AEM 6.2 using a GuideDropDownList? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Hi All,Is it possible to centre align a line of text on an AEM 6.2 Form ?I have tried setting the Text Align setting in the Style options, which does not appear to make any difference.I have also tried settings the CSS Override to text-align:center which also does not appear to make any difference.Thanks,Robert

I have dragged AEM's default form component into a parsys in a page. As of now this  page is shown on clicking of login icon on my home page.I want this page to be shown ,on click of login icon , as a popup on my home page.I could have used jquery plugin as mentioned in this link https://www.formget.com/jquery-popup-form/ , but the problem lies in using the popup for  default form component of AEM.Can you please tell me on how to use the same form as a popup.

Hi,I have requirement like creating a form similar to (bankbazaar.com personal loan form). I can implement the form using HTML5 and jQuery. But what are the advantages of using AEM to create the form?Suppose, If I am implementing the same form in AEM, I will use HTML5 and will keep scripts in clientlibs and will replicate the same logic in AEM. but frankly, I am not getting the benefit of using AEM Forms here.Please help me out to get proper view of using AEM Forms.Regards,Krishh

Hi,I have a requirement to build a form page with a drop down and  a rich text box. When user selects an option from Drop down, read a value from a page node (ex. content/mypage/jcr:content/node1) and assign it to the rich text box. When the user updates the rich text value and submits, it should update the existing page node value.Can anyone please provide me an example or sample code?Thanks in Advance.Kishore

Hi,I am doing migration from CQ5.56 to CQ 6.2 .In CQ 5.56: There is repository.xml file in repository folder, where i had to add the line <trusted credential/> for authentication. Now, As in cq6.2 there is no such files in repository folder. Where to add it?Is there any change in CQ 6.2?

Hi,I am trying to install the AEM forms Workbench. Some of the details  asked for are:  “Username and Password” .But I am not fully sure what to enter here. I have tried default value “admin” for both Username and Password but it is not accepting.For LiveCycle Server :  What are the Host and HTTP Port, Are they for AEM server? I have entered the default host(localhost/IP information/fully qualified Computer name) and port(8080/4702(AEM instance Port)) details but it is giving unauthorized error.Please suggest what details should be entered .Thanks & Regards,Dharmendra Shukla

What are the main differences between AEM Forms: PDF and HTML flavors?My knowledge says PDF Forms are Adaptive and HTML Forms and therefore could be rendered on any device are HTML 5 compliant, and therefore could be rendered on any browser.2. I have exposure towards AEM PDF Forms and have estimated some work for a client of ours. It involves Building forms, populating some fields dynamically, etc etc.If the client says HTML Forms and not PDF Forms, Could I apply the same efforts to HTML Forms? Or there would be some significant differences?3. Could HTML Forms be converted to PDF, the way PDF Forms are rendered?Thanks,Rama.
