HiGiven that we have MANY instances of AEM auth / pub in our environment across  a LAB/ DEV/ QA/  UAT / PROD environment I have to manage many war file to deploy.  (Our firm adheres to the .war deploy that remain packed not exploded.).to save space in managing many 500 meg wars in our source etc I am looking at break the war file into project (some in source some not.. like 'resources') and having the MANIFEST.MF re-written to refer to the jar/zip/classes remotely on another server.The technology in our firm supports this no problem but I"m curious if AEM will given that the manifest / jar is signed and such.So my question, can I re-write the manifest so it builds the class paths in a format the containers in my firm will support and still allow AEM to startup as normal? Or is there some 'hook' that checks the signage / SHA of the jars and will abort if not what's expected.Thanks.(Just for the record I am trying to get approval to explode the war and making everything in our env point

Is there somewhere where I can find samples and explanation on the various css classes/keywords and way to customize the adaptive form panel/color behavior? (eg, required field color to change the background instead of border, change default font of various fields, make certain field wider, ...) 

Hi , I'm using AEM 6 , i created a adaptive form , once i download this form as pdf, im not able to save partially filled form, could anyone provide me with a solution to my solution. The save button in adobe reader is disabled. how can i enable it?

Hi All,What is the best way to handle multiple urls in a generic way?It should be able to handle urls like :http://somehost/somecategory/somesubcategory/page1.htmlhttp://somehost/somecategory/somesubcategory/pageN.htmlThe only way I can think of is a Filter. But by definition a filter should alter some headers or inject some information and in my case I need to generate the whole response.  Thanks in advance,Yura.

I'm getting an error message every time I try to load up Adobe CQ5.The error message I'm receiving is:"A Script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You Can stop the script now, open the script in the debugger or let the script continue."The path of the script is: /libs/cq/ui/widgets.js:8818Does anyone know what is causing this issue? I've reset all my browser settings, deleted cashe and cookies, even uninstalled and reinstalled the browsers.Thanks!

HiWhen submitting a form to the AEM Forms HTML workspace, my To-do list does not get update automatically. I always have to reload the page in the browser in order to see the new tasks.Is this normal behavior or should the list be updated automatically? Thanks in advanceRonny Ruyters

Does AEM Forms SP2 contain all of the updates that were present in AEM Forms FP1? or do we need to install Forms FP1 then Forms SP2 over the top of that?

Hi all, I would like to override the icons of the cq component placeholders.I have found the Icons here:http://localhost:4502/libs/cq/ui/widgets/themes/default.css example: The placeholder icon for the Image Component is difined here.cq-image-placeholder {background: url("default/placeholders/img.png") no-repeat scroll 50% 50% rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);}Now I would like to override the img.png with myImg.png. I have expended my the css file content\src\main\content\jcr_root\apps\myProject\components\content\image\clientlibs\image.css of the image Component as follow:.cq-image-placeholder {background: url("myImg.png") !important;}but nothing change.How to override the placeholder icons in http://localhost:4502/libs/cq/ui/widgets/themes/default.css?

Hi All,We are creating AEM form based on our XSD schema and we found that xsd schema elements (like xs:string, xs:date) are mapping beautifully to OOTB form components when dragging and dropping from content finder, ex:. xs:string to Text box components.https://helpx.adobe.com/aem-forms/6/adaptive-form-xml-schema-form-model.html#Using%20an%20XML%20schema%20as%20form%20modelCan you tell us how we can change this mapping so that XSD elements will get binded to our custom form components (say text-image) when we drag and drop?Also, if we have two 'text' form components (say text1 and text2 components) , how can we do mapping so that xs:string element will map to specific component (say text1 component)? Thank you,Veeraswami Kandregula

Can AEM Forms 6.0 Feature Pack 1 be directly applied to Livecycle ES4 SP1? It looks like it has a dependency on AEM 6.0 but Livecycle ES4 SP1 is AEM 5.6.1 not 6.0.

HiI'm a LiveCycle ES developer and new to AEM/AEM Forms and I have a problem:After the installation of AEM Forms 6.0 on JEE, this installs an 'old' Livecycle installation on JBOSS and an AEM installation on the same JBOSS, I noticed these two (LC and AEM) are interconnected, wich is also as I expected.After the installation I configured an LDAP connection on LC side. LC syncs all users and groups from the LDAP. On LC side, user details are retrieved from the LDAP and are visible in LC User managemen. But on AEM side, nothing is retrieved, all fields are empty.My question now is how can I add one of these LDAP users to AEM user-groups, becuase when I want to edit such a user on AEM, the fields ID and Password are required.Shouldn't these user details get retrieved from the LDAP as well, just like on LC side? Or does anybody have an idea on how to get these user details automatically filled out on AEM side?I have some screenshots attached. Thanks in advanceRonny

We are trying to allow a user/group to create new users, but only as a member of certain groups.  We have multiple "brand" super user groups.  Each "brand" super user should only be allowed to add a new user to groups for their brand. With our current configuration, the group assignment works properly for existing users, but I am unable to create new users.  The way we have the permissions set up under home is the following:~/home - Allow Read~/home/groups - Allow Read(applies to all child nodes as well)~home/groups/e/everyone - Allow Read/Create/Modify/Delete/Read ACL/Edit ACL/Replicate - not sure if this is necessary, but added it since adding a user is not working and all users are members of the everyone group~home/groups/t/testbrand-group - Allow Read/Create/Modify/Delete/Read ACL/Edit ACL/Replicate - this is test group that we want to be able to add other users to~home/users - Allow Read/Create/Modify/Delete/Read ACL/Edit ACL/ReplicateWhat permission am I missing that will allow

Hi All, I'm exploring AEM Forms on OSGI (AEM 6.0 SP2 + AEM Forms 6 SP2).During form submit action I need to pass some hidden values. I created a simple component that generates following markup.<input type="hidden" name="username" value="admin" /> // value can keep changingClicking on submit action button does not submit the form. Firebug or Chrome console lists out lot os js error.On closer inspection I found that unlike foundation forms component, here <form>element does not have any action or method defined. A lot of this is being done via javascript. I similarly have more data I would like to pass via hidden fields bit I'm stuck on the first step. ThanksAshish

If i make changes to a page which is already activated (published) ,do i need to reactivate again or replication agent will keep track of changes and publish

I developed a small adaptive form on AEM Forms 6.0 JEE (SP1  at the moment) and I'm facing a problem. The project is meant to be like below:A user fills in a form in the web-browser and submits it. On the submit a LC Workflow is started and a couple of other users have to approve/reject this form in the Workspace.On the Assign Task operation in the workflow, I use a CRX Asset (the adaptive Form) .I made some Javascript/JQuery code to prepopulate and initialize the form and I notice that these Javascripts/Jquery codes are not always updated when opening the form in te Workspace. When I open the form directly in the browser the code is correctly updated every time I make a change.Anybody have an idea what goes wrong? Cheers 

Is the AEM Forms product WCAG 2.0 compliant? If so, is there any documentation to show the current compliance level?

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to render HTML5 forms from within Workbench?  I can render forms as PDFs and HTML4 but I can't find anything n HTML5.  If it is possible how would I do it?Thanks.

HiI'm developing an adaptive form for a customer which is submitted to a LC approval workflow. For this I installed Adobe AEM Forms 6.0 on JEE. On this JBOSS there is an author instance of AEM installed automatically. My question now is how do I setup/install the Publish instance?Am I going to need to install a completely new JEE installation or can I deploy the Publish instance on the excisting JEE environment? Regards

Hi:I posted a few days ago about another issue I was having with an adaptive form I'm working on. Thanks to the feedback received I was able to resolve that issue so thank you for that!I have a few other issues which I believe may be issues associated with the template itself (as opposed to my form built on top of the template). HiI am working on a website where there are multiple templates, one for single column layout, other two column etc.  The need is to share common styles across these templates. I created design dialogs, however. since each dialog stores its configuration in its template node in /etc/design, I am not able to share the style selected for one template in the other templates on the same website.  Is there a way to store the selection made by authors in design mode for a design dialog at a common location, and access it from all templates (who should be sharing the design styles)?I apologize in advance if I am missing something obvious.  I will appreciate any help.thanks
