I'm trying to find a way to hide a particular form field in the Adaptive AEM6 form based on the user that is signed in. I looked a the source code and it seems that the form fields are in .contenxt.xml file. I'm not sure how I can manipulate this to meet the above requirement. 

Hi:Hoping someone can shed some light on why I'm getting a javascript error when I click on a radio button on my xfa based AEM Forms template. The knock on effect is that the radio button is not being shown as selected. We are overriding the "Product Assets Upload" step in the DAM Update Asset because the product ids do not follow the supported naming convention for the Product Photo Shoot Project.  In this step, we move individual assets or assets in a zip file to the proper product folders that were created when the shotlist csv is uplaoded. The assets are originally uploaded to the content/dam/projects/{YOUR PROJECT NAME}/incoming folder before they are moved to the correct content/dam/projects/{YOUR PROJECT NAME}/incoming/{Product ID/sku} folder.  After they are created in the new folder, the original node is removed.  For some reason, the DAM Metadata Writeback workflow is firing after the DAM Update Asset workflow with the old payload path(i.e. - content/dam/projects/{YOUR PROJECT NAME}/incoming/Test Photoshoot.zip) and errors are being logged and the DAM Metadata Writeback workflow is ending up in a STALE state because that node has already been removed.  Below is an example of the errors being

Hi, There is a requirement where parsys should be added on top of an image. It is like a background image with the provision of parsys so that other components can be dragged and dropped on top of it. I am using html5smartimage for image component. But, no clue yet on how I can get the parsys on top of the image. Please help if you find any ideas. Thanks.

Hi, I heard from one of my friend that Adobe has released an "AEM Form 6.0 workbench" to build processes using this workbench like Adobe Livecycle workbench.Is there any trial version of this workbench (AEM Form 6.0 workbench) do download. Hi,I wonder in case that I have more than one approver groups, only one of them do the approve can lead the workflow go to the next step. But in Participant Step, I only can set 1 group/user.Is there any way to reach that spec? (I have also tried to use "And Split" for multiple Participant Step, but it has to get all the participant approval before move to next step.)Thank you.John

Hi Guys,I need your help here...In default CQ form component, there is function called "Action type"...In action type, it is possible to combine "store content" and "mail" actions together and make it one selection.That means when submit a form the data should store in usergenerated's folder(CQ) and also send a mail with the same data by click one "Submit" button.

All,We have a requirement on adding a custom property("Description") in the Properties dialog for Folders in AEM DAM (5.6.1) , which is similar to Title field/Property where the user can enter the description for the folder.Is there a way to edit the asset Property of a Folder in AEM DAM 5.6.1.Thanks and regards,Jay

I have a fresh install of AEM 6. I've uploaded and installed AEM "Adobe AEM Forms 6.0.0 WIN-1.0.78" package. However when I try to submit one of the forms I've built I get this error The type com.adobe.aemfd.docmanager.Document cannot be resolved. It is indirectly referenced from required .class files An error occurred at line: 29 in the generated java file The import com.adobe.aemfd.docmanager.Document cannot be resolved An error occurred at line: 76 in the jsp fileHow can I resolve this? How can I resolve the dependency of com.adobe.aemfd.docmanager? Do I need to install LiveCycle for this?

I've built an adaptive form in AEM 6 inside the geometrixx-gov sample website. Is there a way I can:1. login as user1 to fill out this form then click submit2. after hitting submit I login as user2 and see this form in my inbox3. approve/reject this form. Is this doable with AEM6 alone or will I need LiveCycle to accomplish this. Please let me know how to accomplish this either with AEM6 alone or with livecycle.

I have a use case where based on the value from radio button component, my table component should dynamically add new columns by itslef.example: Radio button A with option 1 selected --> Table structure (table with 5 rows and 3 columns) remains intact.Radio button A with option 2 selected --> Dynamically to add additional two columns at the right (to the existing 5 rows and 3 columns). Can this be achieved? Hi,I have a requirement to have a textbox in which the user can enter more than one value. Example: Something like "Hobbies" where the user can enter more than one hobby in the text box. If the user wants to add a new hobby, then he//she should be able to click on a + sign to get another text box just below the current one (something like a multifield textfield in dialogs).Is it possible using Adaptive forms? Also, how will the values be stored in the repository?Thanks

We have a tone of tags to create, and we are hoping we don't have to create one by one.  Is there a way to "bulk upload" tags without using the API?

I am not sure if this is the right forum for the conversation. However I am interested in knowing the community thoughts on to what extent would you use forms for creating web applications. My scenario is we are creating a web application that relies heavily on API's from many service providers. Essentially there is no persistence requirement in AEM except for any transient data stored before the API is called. The AEM forms is considered as presentation layer in the architecture stack. The extent of API invocation is that on the page we have few buttons and each of the button will invoke an API either to retrieve data or to submit data. Also we need to create multiple forms and there is common data to be re-used across multiple forms and required when submitting to the API. There are mid point save during the form data entry, however the data is stored in the integrated service not in AEM. This is purely because the application can be completed by other channels such as mobile app / b

We are creating a website similar to naukri where the user will be saving his/her profile details and the same can be viewed by another set of users in PDF/Word/HTML format.Is the AEM form suits for this type of requirement i.e. Profile form?Basically, I have doubt whether certain tasks can be achieved through AEM forms OOTB (through some configuration )or not:The user should be able to save and submit the same form.And if the user wants to edit the information,  he/she should be able to do even in the submitted form.

Hi AllI am exploring wether there is a lock functionality that comes with AEM forms.Use case: The form that we have built is multi page (8) for form. It requires two users to fill the form for completion.
