Hi All,We are facing one issue where not able to submit form on a publisher/dispatcher. However, on author it's working absolutely fine. Console error:  AEM cloud version 2024.6.16799.20240614T073455Z   Network calls: Dispatcher Configs: # AEM Forms specific filters# to allow AF specific endpoints for prefill, submit and sign/0032 { /type "allow" /path "/content/forms/af/*" /method "POST" /selectors '(submit|internalsubmit|agreement|signSubmit|prefilldata|save|analyticsconfigparser)' /extension '(jsp|json)' }Also, tried adding anonymous user to some forms group still no luck. Appreciate your help.

Hello, I created a form using AEM Designer 6.5.0.20190320.3.935878.  Some users only have Reader and we found that they could not save the file without using Print to PDF.  That won't work as additional information is added to the form just prior to release.  I have the ability to lock fields as signers approve, but removed the locks in the attached file.  After researching this, I found old threads where people had the same problem and Enabled Reader.  However, that prevents users from electronically signing.  I am not finding any more recent (last 3-4 years) where this has been resolved.  I apologize if this was answered earlier, but I haven't found it.  Has this issue been resolved or are we stuck with forms that cannot be edited, saved and electronically signed by Adobe Reader users? Thank you in advance. Craig

I'm trying to export XML data from Livecycle Designer-based PDF in the latest Acrobat and Reader (both 2024.002.20736), but that functionality no longer seems to be present. I read somewhere that you're now supposed to do the following steps: From the All tools menu, select Prepare a form and then from the left panel that opens, select > Export data.In the Export Form Data As dialog box, select the format (FDF, XFDF, XML, or TXT) in which you want to save the form data. Then select a location and filename, and select Save. However, when I click "Prepare a form" there is no option export data. Please help.   

Is it possible to populate an AEM Forms Drop-down List component with a list of items located somewhere in the DAM (For example, a list of the 50 US States)? How can this be achieved? Would the data have to be in a specific file type?

I've a number of forms in a third party form platform, which I would like to migrate to AEM Forms. I can get the JSON structure of the form from the third party service.How can I programmatically create forms in AEM form based on this JSON?

Hi, We are facing an issue related to the adaptive form theme editor. Our stage and dev env is on 6.5.19.0 and adaptive form package is 6.0.1120 in stage and 6.0.718 in dev. When I go to the theme editor in stage, i'm seeing error in console from this file /etc/clientlibs/fd/af/themeAuthoring.min.js. Our dev env is running older version of adaptive form and it doesn't have any issue.  In dev themeAuthoring.min.js file is being called from /libs folder but in stage it's being called from /etc and /libs folder. The /etc file has code that's making ajax call to path that doesn't exist. In my browser local I have removed the script that's calling /etc/clientlibs/fd/af/themeAuthoring.min.js and editor is working fine.  Here in this image, as you can see same file being called twice from libs and etc folder. in dev it's only being called from libs.  Has anyone else seen similar issue after moving to adaptive form to 6.0.1120?

Hi, I have a adaptive form on dynamic page. Page data is coming from an API. I need to assign email address coming from api call to one of the email field in adaptive form so I can use that email address to send email.  I'm doing it on front-end with javascript using inputElement.value and inputTlement.setValue(''). I see the email being populated in the form but when I submit the form. That email data is not part of the submit call.  What's the best approach for this use case?

Hi,Is there a property setting for the Text Field that will auto resize/reduce the font size to allow more letters to be entered in the fixed 'Limit Length to Visible Area'. I see that this is possible in adobe static PDF. Is this possible in XDP template when it is rendered as HTML5 form using a browser?Is there an alternate solution to have the same result?Thanks in advance for the response.Leena

Hi all Looking for something like the workflow where we could assign say error codes to a variable for use in another step wrt forms is there a way other than storing variables in hidden fields within forms ? i have a date source integrated with dynamics and would use invoke service local storage cookies are other options but what’s the best way to go about ?I haven’t used request objects so sure there

Hello all, I have a custom form data model annd associations. A custom data source to MS Dynamics CRM. I have a form with 15 tables to submit in one go and with error handling for each put/post. These tables are in a parent child relationship. Submitting parent did not submit child data although PUT request for parent has child entity. Surprising!hence trying multiple puts Question - how do i submit to all tables in multiple put/posts. Submitting to parent entity via PUT api does not update child and is stunning to me.  OOTB one entity can be submitted via FDM submit, I can handle via workflows but does not show up errors to the user in page so defeats the purpose. @mayankgu9 @workflowuser    

HiWas trying form , on click of submit to AEM servlet - a POST , say at /bin/x path or res type and it throws a 401 (due to permissions is what I gather , how do I set it ?) . has anyone done this for CORE form components ? I don’t want to use a data model. Steps for the same would be appreciated thanks in advance  

I do have a form model and want to populate dropdown dynamically via an exposed service FDM any one who has achieved this with core form components ?

New version 1.0 is throwing an error.For other version preview is working fine. Also issue is present for only 3 pages in same folder. Other pages version preview working fine. Please guide. 

Hi  is there a way to submit data to MS dynamics and also have email sent on click of submit. with the form bound to MS dynamics data source form model, i see the action “form model” so I assume clicking that sends to MS dynamics but what if I want an email sent ?  

I'm working on AEMaaCS and have a task to create a composite address component within AEM adaptive forms. This component should include an address dropdown, two street address text boxes, one postal code text box, and a dropdown for state selection. What's the easiest way to get this done in AEM adaptive forms? I've considered two options:Can we handle this directly through the authoring interface?Do we need to develop a custom component? If so, how can we make use of the form's out-of-the-box (OOTB) textbox and dropdown components? I've identified the following components, but I'm unsure if we can include them directly in HTL or if we need to create HTML or JSP files since most form components are in JSP:/libs/fd/af/components/guidetextbox/libs/fd/af/components/guidedropdownlist/libs/fd/af/components/guidedateinput

We are using a form data model to bind fields to both the submission and the automatically generated document of record. However when it comes to submitting the forms to an endpoint the resulting payload does not include the generated DoR file alongside the JSON form data.

Hello,I have searched the already answered questions and have not seen one that would help me.  If this has already been answered, please direct me to the correct post.Short form:  How can I make a drop-down choice reset an entire subform if it is changed.Long form:My form has a basic first two pages, followed by a department-dependent (via drop-down) set of subforms, with their own sub-sub-sub forms, dependent on check boxes.I want to make it so if the department choice on the drop-down changes, it will reset all of the fields within the department-dependent subform.  Even though the fields will not be visible anymore once the selection is changed, they want the changes to be reset.I am mostly familiar with using the action builder, and doing basic formulas using FormCalc, so, please be explicit with any answers that involve scripting.Thank you for your time,Nichole Wilhelm

Hi Everyone, I am trying to setup we.finance and we.gov for AEM forms as described at https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-65/content/forms/getting-started/aem-forms-reference-collaterals/forms-install-configure-gov-reference-site I have working MS Dynamics working instance and configure Azure with App registration and defined cloud data sources with MS Dynamics API, client id & client security. I am able to get access token however, refresh token fails with error "Failed to get refresh token.". I have a ticket with Adobe SPP but no help/response. In case,  anybody has done or setup this demo. Help in getting this resolved or give some pointer. I will happy to share logs in case need. Thanks

Hello, I am stumped. I need to be able to convert a number to its ones value only. For example: if someone enters 65, I need it to return only the 5. Another example: 87 returns only the 7, etc. There will be no decimal numbers. Any idea how I could accomplish this? Thank you
