Adobe Experience Manager Forms

We are using Adaptive Forms and want to restrict fragment editing to a sub-set of users. We currently have just the OOTB forms-related user groups, i.e., forms-users, forms-super-users, forms-script-writers and so on, and I created a new group who should have the fragment edit permissions. I created an OSGI configuration repoinit script like below as a first pass, but it's still too permissive - a user that's a member of forms-users can still edit fragments found under that path. Ideally, what I want in plain English is for members of any of the other user groups to only be able to read fragments and pull them into forms, but not edit them. Hi All, I'm trying to configure Datasource by using Swagger (.yaml) and then creating a Form Data Model which will use DataSource. In swagger definition, there's a  path to the AEM servlet which has the all the logic to make Http requests to to third APIs and get the response. When I click on "Test", ideally it should show the API response here as an output but I'm getting below error. Hello,    I'm trying to programmatically fill existing signed xfa forms with information from a database. I'm using a library called pdfbox. It works great, except that the <form> tag of the xfa form needs a checksum if modified. I cannot find how to calculate that checksum anywhere. Does Adobe have any product that would let me programmatically fill an xfa form, and modify the contents of the <form> tag? Thanks,     Martín.

Hi all, I have an adaptive form, where users upload and save some documents.   On Retrieve of the application, the documents are visible and users are able to download and open the document. I would like to see, if it is possible to display the previously uploaded document inside a pdf viewer as opposed to downloading it for the user. Is this possible? how to achieve this? and what are the implications of such a functionality? Using AEM 6.5 Adaptive form. Best Regards,

Hello, Is it possible, in AEM Form Designer, to make the header (on the first page only) wider than the master page content?So like Header will be 100% page width (only on 1st page) and the rest of the form to have normal margins. 

Hi All, We have recently migrated authentication from Siteminder to Azure in AEM 6.3.3 (Azure OIDC migration). After migration , we are getting mixed content issue which was not seen  in any lower environments. While loading page , few urls are loading with  HTTP request. Due to which ContextHub personalization not working.   ThanksBandaru. 

We are using a form data model to bind fields to both the submission and the automatically generated document of record. However when it comes to submitting the forms to an endpoint the resulting payload does not include the generated DoR file alongside the JSON form data. When configuring the guide container for a form you can specify what you would like to submit alongside the form fields which have been bound to a form data model. In this example we are trying to submit the Document of Record alongside our form. This requires a DoR bind Reference to be configured, however, this is unclear as to what should be selected here. Binding to our top level model object causes an error which says 'Selected ref must of simple type'. Binding it to a string property does not produce a DoR within the form submission payload.  Does anyone have any thoughts/suggestions for solving this issue?Context: AEMaaCS

I’m trying to add Adaptive Form components to my sites page, but for some reason all Adaptive Form components show up in the “Add Component” panel, EXCEPT there is no Adaptive Form Container (or any Form Container) to drag and drop from the list. I checked the template policy for the page, making sure all Adaptive Form Components were selected as Allowed Components, but even when I expand the list in the policy, there is no Form Container. I want to note that if I am able to create an Adaptive Form using the Forms editor as the templates in there all have a Form Container on the template by default.  However, for some reason there is no Form Container component available to be added to my sites pages.

Recently we updated to AEM6.5.20 corresponding AEM OSGI Forms ,But when we creating Adaptive form using Blank template Form is not created getting Console errors . Hi TeamCurrently we are using OSGI Forms (forms add-on package) for AEM 6.5.20I am not able to see history changes forms & compare prevision version by enable versioning to Adaptive form level similar to pages.Kindly let me know how to enable form level versioning and how to compare with history changes revert back previous state .  RegardsVara

After we upgraded to SP19, we started to notice that sometimes web services for dropdown menus do not come back to our adaptive forms. You need to refresh sometimes multiple times to get the dropdown menu to populate from initialize correctly. We wrote in C# code for our web services using both Asynchronous and Synchronous methods. Both behave the same way where it does not come back all the time to the adaptive form. We were on SP15 prior to upgrading to SP19. In SP15 we did not have this behavior with the web service calls in prefilling our dropdowns in adaptive forms.Is there any settings on the AEM configuration that we can change or look at in order to resolve the issue?  

Hi All,We are creating forms using Adaptive Form Core Components and there is a use case in which we need to populate dropdown options using Backend API. To cater to this scenario, we have created a Form Data Model from swagger provided.  However we are not able to populate the values of dropdown or configure dropdown options using  rule editor.How do we configure options for select-based components (in this case dropdown)  using the visual rule editor and using form data model service output?Any info would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Mohit

Hi everyone,I recently installed the AEM Forms add-on from the software distribution website onto the cloud version of AEM. However, upon trying to open any page of the site project, I encountered an error as attached. Additionally, I am experiencing errors when attempting to access the forms and documents section under forms. Upon checking the AEM system console, I noticed that the newly added forms bundles are in the installed state.Initially, I suspected that errors such as "cannot be resolved" might be due to the JDK version 11.0.20. Consequently, I downgraded the JDK version to 11.0.19, which resolved some errors. However, despite having many bundles in the installed state, the issue persists.Could someone please provide assistance in resolving this issue?Thank you.Error in Page:  Form Opening Error:

Local instance of AEM with AEM Forms installedAEM 6.5.19Just trying to evaluate AEM Forms, but keep running into problems.  Whenever I try to create a new Adaptive Form, clicking the blue Create button fails to submit because of a jQuery error.  I also get other jQuery errors when interacting with the create form.  Such as when typing in the Title field.  I attached a screenshot showing the errors in the javascript console.What am I missing? 

Hi, I am building a dynamic form.  Each section is wrapped in in a subform.  two sections have subforms within a parent subform. ex. form1.headersubform.childsubform.child2subform.  I have a button that on the click event uses javascript code to check for empty/null field and colors the fields yellow and sets another var which prevents signature. Hi All, We have a Rest API implementation where we are calling a Bank API by passing Oauth token to the Bank API.The balance details has to be populated from the API response and needs to be shown on the front end.We want to implement the same in AEM forms.  Easier Approach Solution 1:1)Create a form Element and have a Id attached to it.2)Create a Client Library JS code where we will have a ajax call to our Servlet and Our Servlet will have the HTTPClient Code to consume the APi and we can send the details to the front end and our front end will display details and we can show that using javascript. But the concern  with this approach we are not using any core AEM forms Functionality here and not levaraging any core aem forms capability here. Need Suggestions how we can do this type of implementation levaraging AEM forms and use more of authoring capability of aem forms. thanks in advance

Hi all, I have AEM forms Table connected to Schema binding, The rows of table repeats as per the amount of items present in the schema, Is there any event , or technique i can use to trigger a specific script only at the last instance of the table row, and not when every row is getting generated? Any help ideas would be helpful.thanks.

Dear Communityonce again its me having a question about XML-Forms.Currently i am using the Live Cycle Designer 3 Version and unfortunately, the generated XML-Formatis not compatible with Adobe Sign (Adobe Document Cloud).I am wondering if there is ANY way to make these files compatible and/or if the newer Software Versions (ES4 or AEM Forms) offer different XML Export Options to have them XML documents compatible with Adobe Sign.Many thanks in advanceAndrea

Hi All,  We are using AEM Cloud solution to build our website. We have built custom components and used them as experience fragments. Scenario - 1. I create a page in master language and use an experience fragment in that page.2. I create language copy of that page in 3 other languages.3. When I open the language copy, the path of experience fragment is showing weird folder (Expectation - XF path should point to respective language folder) Has anyone ever faced this issue? We have been trying to find the root cause since many weeks now.
