Adobe Experience Manager Forms

Hi Team, I gave a react app which has static folder. this static folder has a subfolder named js and within that i have my model.json file. this static folder is being served by out by nginx server when we make request for the path js/ .so in our code we have modelmanager.initialize('js/model.json'). but when i see the request uri. i can see along with window.location.origin there is /null getting added between this path im giving in initialize and window.location.origin. for example say i have my window.location.origin something like this https://test.com/abc/def. but when i see model.json get request in network tab, the request url is https://test.com/abc/def/null/js/model.json. can you please help me on this.

I am quite confused, however, by the fact that most/all of the documentation I find appears to be referring to a different set of components (perhaps the WCM Core Components?) than those with which we are working inside the forms. For example, I followed the instructions found here. I pulled down the Easel theme repo and dug through the source code, and all of the components under `src/components` appear to be the WCM Core Components variety, with CSS classes prefixed with "cmp-<component_type>". We are on AEM 6.5.5 and after updating to SP 16, the form submissions are failing with HTTP 400 Malformed request error. After some troubleshooting, I notice that the error happens only when submission action includes sending an email. We are not using the Forms add-on package as of now. Could you please advise if this is a known issue of SP 16 and if there is a fix or workaround for this.

hi all,  I have a form bound to xml schema, it contains 3 panels , the second and third panels are fragments which are lazy loaded. When i select preview with data option and select a data file, the data on the panels which are lazy loaded are not displayed. When disabling lazy loading option in the form, the data is visible in those panels. All fields are bound to elements in xml schema. Is there something else that needs to be done to prefill data in lazy loaded panels? kindly let me know.

Hi Community, I am wondering if AEM Form rule editor is able to change a file name uploaded to the Form (whether instantly or after submitting the form). My AEM Form has multiple attachment, so I cannot use Power Automate to change the attachment name without also changing other documents'.I also need a prefix for specific attachment, so the RPA can identify different attachments. For example, "ev_id".I asked ChatGPT but no luck.Submit action is send email. FYI Huge thanks in advance!

Hello all, Hoping to get some guidance: I have a table in Livecylce ES4 with lets say 4 fields (name, age, gender, date of birth). Just text fields on a blank subform. I have a button to addInstance thus repeating the 4 fields. The button also adds an instance to another table on another form that adds the same 4 fields. That second form is the designed form which I do not want the user to have the ability to enter info. The issue I have is: I can create as many instances I want with different people's biodata on the first form but I want the info from the first table to be copied into the second table whether it be 1 instance or 10. I just don't know how to reference each field. I imagine the first table has something like name(0), name(1), name(2), etc. How do I reference these fields and put the info into the second table? I hope this makes sense. Thank you

Hi Team We are working on Completely AEM Forms-Add-on .Our requirement each form users can view as pdf before submitting the newly creating adaptive form , Can we use any OOTB feature for each form preview as consolidated PDF which include attached files in the adaptive form . Example : Adaptive form attached person photo and resume we need generate consolidated pdf along with form fields with attached photo and resume as single/consolidate pdf before form submitting.  RegardsVara

Hi Team AEM Forms Add-on Create Additive Form using XSD but using XSD not able to find type "checkbox" instead of using "Boolean" which give toggle on/off instead of checkbox while creating the adaptive form from XSD . Hello! I will preface this first as I am very much a novice at coding. I'm taking some classes, but it's very much a work in progress for me.    I have an Adobe form that has buttons on it that will allow the user to add a row if they need to add more information. For example, if there is more than one evaluator on a performance evaluation. Right now, the form is set up to only be visible on the screen, meaning that the buttons will disappear when it prints. So we are having to "print as pdf" to save a copy that does not have the buttons. I was wondering if there is a way to make the buttons disappear once the form is signed? Everyone has to use electronic signatures to sign. I used the "postSign" function, but when I test it I get the following error: Alternatively, if I use the "preSign" option, the buttons don't go away. 😞 I feel like I'm probably missing a step, or that there is a better way to do it.  Thanks!

We were just updated from 6.5.0 to 6.5.17. We are unable to save or generate PDF preview for some forms, getting the log error "Index value out of range". There are no scripts on the forms. The error gives no indication of where the problem lies - no object or line info. Forms are also not, and have never been, attached to any kind of database. They are simply designed and published for the public to download. I tried copying individual objects into a new form, saving each time to see if I can isolate the error - no error was generated. Please tell me there is a simple fix. Oh, and this is only if saving the form as a static PDF, a must for the format we post our forms in. Dynamic does not seem to have a problem - but still can't generate PDF preview. I'm using LocaleUtils.isavailableLocale to check if locale is valid or not it's working for few locales but for en_SA it's showing as invalid locale and en_SA is not present in available locales list. Is there any other list which contains en_SA as locale.Thanks in advance.

Hi,We are using the AEM Forms Designer 6.5 Standalone.On the licencing website (licensing2.adobe.com) we can only download the version from 2017 (I guess) which needs "Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 redistributable". But since "Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 redistributable" is flagged as end of life it is not allowed to install it in our company environment. Where can I download a newer version of it without having an Adobe Experience Cloud subscription or account linked to AEM Cloud?Thanks

We have just migrated a load of ex Livecycle forms to AEM. The bulk of these work perfectly using a slightly modified profile servlet.The problem we are having is the on some forms where there is a Repeat section managed by the instanceManager when you add a new instance you do not see the new section on the screen. I have checked the javascript after it performs the addInstance() method and the count does increase. Also the Add button disappears when the instance count gets to the max repeats. This is not on every form and I am trying to work out if it is a specific field type or if there is a script that is running that is preventing the html elements to be rendered. Enabling debug on the form shows nothing exceptional. Does anyone know where in the javascript the elements are added to the dom so I can try to workout why it is not rendering? Or has anyone experienced anything similar?

Ich verwende den Adobe Experience Manager (Designer), zu dem ich leider nichts in der Liste gefunden habe, daher der Post hier drin.Ich versuche ein pdf Formular zu erstellen, in dem sich das Textfeld erweitert und die unten Teile nach unten schiebt, wenn mehr Platz gebraucht wird als vorgegeben. Das habe ich grundsätzlich hinbekommen, indem ich Teilformulare gebildet habe. Allerdings funktioniert das nur wenn ich die Seite unter dem Reiter Teilformular in der Auswahlt für Inhalt von Position auf Textfluss stelle. Wenn ich das tue, springen alle Elemente auf der Seite nach links und reihen sich direkt untereinander auf. Wie kann ich das verhindern? Ich will ja meine Formatierung beibehalten und trotzdem die Funktion haben, das der Text Platz hat und das Formular sich verändert. Ich kann einzelne Blöcke als Teilformular umschließen, dort bleibt dann innerhalb des Blocks die Formatierung bestehen, aber der ganze Block springt wie beschrieben.Vielleicht weiß das einer. Hey all,  I'm new to AEM forms designer, so maybe this is a small oversight, but hopefully someone can help me out! I need to create running daily log form document. Each form takes up one page, and can flow into a second if need be, and 2 logs per day (AM/PM). I've got the basic form created, but my issue is figuring out how to make multiple pages of that same form within one document.  I have copied and pasted the form to separate pages in the meantime, however I keep running into issues.  So I have two questions really:  Question 1: is there a quicker/more direct way to duplicate a form to make a larger document than copying and pasting? I've tried figuring out a way to duplicate the pages in Acrobat but because it's an xml form this can't be done it seems.  Question 2: The biggest issues I've come across with my form is with a button adding new rows to a table. I've set my form up to choose a goal from a drop down list, and the
