We have a Cloud instance of AEM Forms and we are using the Core Components as a base. We are not attempting to add Adobe Analytics to the solution. We are following these instructions Enable Adobe Analytics for an Adaptive Form using Experience Cloud Setup Automation After a bit of trial and error we are getting some appMeasurement requests getting fired on the Author instance, but not on the Publish instance. Looking at why this could be we see that in the OOTB customFooterLinks there is the sly call to inject the datalayer client lib  but the OOTB clientlib does not appear to have allowProxy set to true. The author instance is pulling in the clientlib from the /apps folder so this would seem to be the issue. Is there something we are missing? If the clientLib does need the allowProxy what is the best way to deliver this for the core component in a cloud instance? Thanks

Hi Community, In AEM Form rule editor, I see that the actions available for "when button is clicked" include invoke service, dispatch event, etc. I would hope to pick your brain on how to enable it. Use case:I need to provide a form to my users, in which they need to put in their address.I need to validate real-time whether the input (address) is on a pre-defined list, so that some other form objects will be disabled if the address is indeed on the list. Can I use a button + rule editor to validate a specific form field instantly? If so, what would be the effort required? Many thanks!

Hello,Is it possible to populate text fields with data from previously filled data fields, but with an option to change it. For example, I have a text field 'name' and when I type letters of the names that I have typed before, they would come up as a suggestion? Is it possible at all?Thanks for your help.

Hi Team,I'm facing one issue with right click on firefox,I have tab component I was showing the items inside tabs component on hover of tab, so when the tab item was opened on hover of tab, when i right click on the tab items container it was getting closed in firefox but it was working in chrome.Any suggestions to solve this issue.Thanks in advance. 

How to migrate AEM form configuration (SharePoint, OneDrive and Azure storage Blob) and Forms from Development environment to stage environment. Because, our dev environment is facing some issues so, adobe suggested to delete the env and recreate dev environment. So, for that any method that I can save my designed forms and all my cloud configuration. 

hello i'm using adobe forms 6.5  I have merged XML file with fields to PDF using the outputService.generatePDFOutput and it works good for the first runbut if i want to update one of the fields of the new form, the xml new data is overlapping the old and i get the old and new text one on top the other , and it is not readable i didn't find and "override" property in the output service any ideas ? thanksNir

Hello friends,currently, I'm working on adobe forms. I finished the design and some coding. Now I'm opening the form by using the transaction fbl1n. First I request a correspondence, then I display it. All works as it should. Now I'm facing an "advanced" problem. I have to archive the correspondence. Is there anyone who has more experience and is willing to explain it?What needs to be done to archive the correspondences? Is there a specific function module/modules or a specific way to do it? Is there anything that must be created or done before working with the correspondences? I would also be happy if someone could provide some video materials or any type of materials that will help me with this issue and will boost my knowledge in any possible way. I appreciate any help you can provide.Tarik 

Hello, I need a script on the Exit Event of a Numeric Field which tests that the number entered is Even. If odd, the field is nulled and set to focus.I only need a way to test if the last character is : 0, 2,4,6 or 8 since that would be even but the number cannot be zero.The number may be up to 6 numerals. Thank you in advance.

Hi There, I'm using a Mac and have the AEM SDK installed locally. However, after adding AEM forms, my AEM instance fails to start and throws an error.Here are the steps i did. 1. Downloaded the latest AEM SDK from the software distribution, along with Zulu OpenJDK 11.0.19 (JDK). Note - It's not Oracle Java, instead it's Zulu OpenJDK 11.0.19.2. Successfully started AEM, and it was running smoothly.3. Following Adobe documentation, stopped the server and added "aem-forms-addon-2023.09.11.00-231000.far" to the crx-quickstart/install directory. Created the "install" directory since it didn't exist.  in AEM 6.5 whenever i place a short description on an adaptive form i get the html tags in there. I been looking for a setting in AEM but i do not know why this is happening. I only place text in there. Please help?  

When we create a form using core page component (core/fd/components/page/v1/page), it's not possible to add a fragment to the form using core components (screenshot 1). We can only add a fragment using OOTB Panel (screenshot 2). Could you please tell if it is possible to add a fragment to the form using only core components?

Good day,  I have a drop down list in my form.  Some selections, within the list, requires the user to choose an additional choice. That additional choice would then be entered in a text block within the form but I cannot figure out how to do this.  I would like this to happen:1. User chooses from the drop box. Depending on the choice, another drop box or list (pop-up) appears.  Somewhere to the side of the form.2. User chooses from that list and then it's entered in a text block within the form.  The second drop box list/list would then need to disappear when the choice is made/entered within the form.Can someone provide information, please?  I think I would need to create an additional drop down list or list, right?  If so, where would it be placed? Will it be a sub drop down list of the first selection? Thank you for your help.

Hello community, I want to create an interactive adobe form.  In this form there is a table with two columns. To illustrate the problem, I use the well-known SAP flight model. Column A is the CARRIER ID and column B is a flight to be selected using a drop-down list.There are several rows in the table: Each row represents an airline, e.g. Carrier ID = LH. Now I only want to display Lufthansa flights in the dropdown list. In the next line, where the carrier ID = BA, I only want to see flights from British Airways. Unfortunately, all flights from all airlines are always displayed in the drop-down menu. There is therefore no connection to the current CARRIER ID. So in the interface I have a table within the table. Unfortunately, I cannot specify a WHERE condition when binding data. Hello, I have a form I am working on in AEM Forms Designer with 2 sections, section B contains many hidden fields that need to be made visible by the inputs in section A. These inputs are a combination of drop-downs, checkboxes, and a single fill-in (for dollar amount). The items in section B need to be made visible by some drop-downs as an OR, and for the checkboxes as an AND.I can get the items to show when going to the drop-down and making them visible on change, but that hasn't been working for when other checkboxes need to be marked as well.I also tried to use the calculate event on the questions themselves, like this for example. I have a function that I was assisted by AI to write which changes the visibility of a bunch of objects based on the value of a bunch of dropdowns and checkboxes. It also includes listener events so that when these dropdowns and checkboxes are changed the visibility of the items affected by them is updated as well. My problem is that I do not know JavaScript very well and the folly of AI is that it's not always good at answering what I'm asking, but neither is my searching of Google so it's probably just me trying to do JavaScript things without a solid understanding of JavaScript that's causing the issue. Where does the function go?Does it go into the master pages Initialize? Does it go under every dropdown and check boxes Change?  The code is over 500 lines, and that seems like it would bloat the document quite a lot and be very redundant.What about the listener events?
