Adobe Experience Manager Forms

Hi, I have a form created in Adobe LiveCycle, and I need to be able to take this form and merge it with some PDF forms.  When I go try to "Combine Files into PDF" It says the XML form cannot be combine.  Is there a way around this?  Using the "Create a Portfolio" is not an option.I have Adobe Pro XThanks for any assistance you can give on this matter.Connie Bretes

Can I put a path to an external JS file in the XDP file of the form to pull variables? Below example. <script contentType="application/x-javascript" src='constants/state-countries.js'/>

On our regular AEM components through Sites we use Readme.md files in each component and point the helpPath property to the documentation page in components section.We have tried to do the same in Adaptive forms but no link appears in the dialog editor.Anyone know of a way to do this?

Good day, I have a drop down list in a row and a button which copies whatever is entered in the row to another table.  The name selected is copied into a floating field in a text box.   My issue is that one name in the drop down should not copy to another table if it's chosen.  Example:  The row "Type" has "Cat, Dog, Fish".  If Cat or Dog is chosen in the "Type" row and you click a button to copy whatever is in "type" to the next table then "cat or dog" is copied to another table in it's floating field. But if "Fish" is chosen in the "Type" row and you click the button then "Fish" should not be copied.  Is there a script for this?  The reason why "fish" is not copied is because "fish" has a sub category list, indicating different types of fish to choose from.  When fish is chosen, the sub list appears.  When you choose "goldfish", that name if populated in the other table.

Hello all! I'm building adaptive forms in AEM and I need assistance with a rule or script to force user entered data from a text field to upper case letters. In Designer we used this JS: xfa.event.change=xfa.event.change.toUpperCase(); Wondering how to get this same functionality into the Adaptive side of forms.thanks!

Hi All, Numeric AEM form field is stripping preceding zeros fields. How to have preceding zero added in numeric field.    

I have a form that has two sections in which each has an expandable table.  Each table starts with 3 of the repeating rows appearing.  When information is entered in the Maintenance Operation field in the table in the first section (Estimate of Maintenance Costs) it prefills to the corresponding field in the table in the 2nd section (Maintenance Expenditure Statement).  However, if more than 3 rows are entered only the 3 original rows appear in the table in the second section.  It will not allow additional rows.

Hello, Could some one provide inputs as how to solve the below issue On Adaptive form , We can add multiple components. But my requirement is that each component name must be unique. How achieve it . So if author try to add same name ,it must indicate an error while saving So this will give an indication to author that we have the name used already. Any code samples will be he helpfull.  Thanks,Srinivas 

We are building some AEM adaptive form components derived from the ootb ones. We are doing this because our client has specific CSS and HTML structure for form elements.We have a text component where we want to define our own display and validation patterns. We have managed to do this ok, but the ootb patterns (Social Security, email etc) are still in the drop down. Is there a property in the dialog node that can exclude these patterns?

How can I hide and unhide fields in a dynamic form when I make a selection through a dropdown? At the same time, all pages and fields should change/move depending on the hide and unhide fields.Basically three (3) different forms in one PDF file.Is there any template for this? ..or any instructions on this topic?at least one solution as far as script is concerned.I'm using aem forms, not HTML5 forms.Working with Aodobe LiveCycle Designer ES4 & Adobe Acrobat 2020 Pro. Merci

Good day,I have a table that has a drop down list in one of the rows.  I also have a button which copies the value of that row to another table.  I need to copy whatever value that is in the drop down list row to a new table except for a specific value (choice).  Example:  The drop down list has three names.  Cat, Dog, Fish.  If Cat or Dog is the chosen value for that row, then that value is copied to the new table when the button is clicked.  But if Fish is the chosen value for that row, then the value "Fish", will not copy to the new table.  Is there a script for that?

Good day, I have a checkbox in the master page, which when checked, makes visible a row with text field in a table.  I also have a button to add a table and the row is visible when added if the box is checked.  I also have a script in the checkbox that when unchecked, the row in the table hides again.  The problem is that when I uncheck the box, it only hides the row in the first table but not the other tables that were created.  I need to have the row in each table hidden.  I could not find any scripts/information on how to accomplish this.  Please help.  One of the scripts in the checkbox is... if (this.rawValue == "0") {this.resolveNode("howobtainedsubform.cardssubform.CARDS.Table1.Row10.encodedinfo").presence = "hidden"
