Adobe Experience Manager Forms

I'm standing up a new database and migrating a site from database A to database B in AEM There are some architecture changes in the site, and I want to redirect as many dead pages in database A to substitute pages in database B for the first couple of months that database B is live. Is there a limit in AEM to the number of redirects that can be in place at any one time? Many thanks for any information you can share.

Hallo an alle, Letzter versuch eine Laien, der es unbedingt wissen möchte  Ich versuche mal mein glück , man hat mir gesagt das ich hier Richtig bin!   Versuche immer wieder, mit LifeCycle Designer es4 erstelltes Formular mit dynamischen Textfelder ein E-Mail Button einzufügen das nach dem senden alle Textfelder bzw. das ganze Formular nur lesen und drucken erlaubt, ohne Erfolg leider  Gibt es eine Möglichkeit solch eine Vorlage zu bekommen oder Schritt für Schritt Anweisung wie ich es bewerkstelligen könnte?    Mit E-Mail Button oder in irgend eine andere form, das nach dem das Formular ausgefüllt und versendet wird nur noch lesen und drucken kann. Hoffe das ich nicht wieder in irgendein anderen Ordner mich verschieben muss und im nichts meine Frage landet      Danke, NikoGR

Question is - Which one to use - AEM LiveCycle Designer or AEM Forms Designer? Confusion is due to different setup. Please see screen shots below? Client has AEM Forms 6.5 On Prem OSGi with add-on.      

Hello everyone,   our comany uses Acrobat 2017 and since this january whenever we want to "Enable Extended Feature" on an AEM form it says "This document could not be reader enabled".   I made sure we have the most recent update which is 17.012.30262 for what i know. I unistalled some windows updates that came in in january but it still didnt work.   Is there already a fix or a solution for this problem?   Thanks for the help

Hello guys, I would try to insert data structured, using a file XML schema, in a page of AEM 6.2. I have seen in many video that it's possible using AEM FORMS. It's correct? Do you know other way for this? Or a correct tutorial?Can you help me with a example?   Thank you in advance for your effort

Hey guys, just wanted to know something about AEM forms. Can we use the AEM forms functionality only over traditional development or also maybe in hybrid development? I don't think so it's possible in headless scenario. Could anyone please answer.

Hi, we have a AEM adaptive form in 6.5.8, everything works fine on dev. But when we package everything and deployed to PROD, the header defined in form tempate shows up at the bottom of the form. We compared the content.xml line by line for all the forms/fragments/folders, other than replication status and jcr:uuid, everything is the same. Any idea? See images attached. On our dev, you can see the header is showing correctly: On PROD, you can see the header defined in the form editable template went to bottom.

Hello everyone, I am facing issue in merging two pdfs with assembler service using external data URLs in DDX, which is location of the PDF from my local file system.   I am following the below process: Environment details - AEM 6.5 (On-Premise) Forms-add-on package (adobe-aemfd-win-pkg-6.0.640.zip), OSGI forms & output service. I created the form on AEM Forms, opened it in Acrobat Pro and applied "Enable Extended Feature". Saved the page in a different name and it says "this document could not be reader enabled Adobe"   Please advice on what is to be done to correct this problem.

Earlier, Our functionality was working fine in prod, support and test environment. Suddenly some webservices has started to fail inside the form only.We have investigated on our own and find that it will not be able to create the connection in adobe lc designer .We are using WSDLConnection soapAddress value programmatically to create the connection with webservices. We are using adobe lc designer to make changes in the code and lc workbench to store the processes & services. can anyone please help me as soon as possible why it is not being able to create the connection.   while debugging through xfa.host.messagebox function , we found that it has not entered to the following line of code. var oConnection = xfa.connectionSet.GatingApprovalWebService.clone(1);oConnection.soapAddress.value = utils.getDataDom().SystemProfile.GatingApprovalWebService.value;oConnection.execute(false); We have seen that wherein the form webservices call are happening,it will be not working.

Hi All,   We have a out of box drop down which have a bind reference of /country.   On top of above,we have customised our above drop down with a plugin international telephone input(https://intl-tel-input.com/) to display international code +flag in the dropdown.   Now drop down is coming fine with Country flag and code but when clicking on the custom submit the bind reference value is not coming. Might be because we have customized the drop down field and now it has new DOM structure is created with customized plugin.   Need help to handle such scenarios.

Hello everyone,By having AEM Site and AEM Form were installed in different servers, how does it work if I develop a jar package for AEM Site? Shall I deploy it on AEM Form as well?  In my architecture I have 1 Author and 2 Publisher, when I publish a template how it works? will the template be published in both Publisher? Hi all,   I want to check on if this functionality is possible within AEM OSGI 6.5.   Is there a way to connect AEM forms designer with AEM forms Author OSGI , such that business users should be able to pull the AEM forms XDP's stored inside a particular folder inside /content/dam/formsanddocuments/<my_project_specific_folder> and be able to EDIT these XDP's and SAVE them back to the same folder, without having to log into the AEM Instance?   I want to check if all the EDIT and Save functionality can be done within AEM designer which is connected to a particular AEM author instance.   Regards,

I am new to AEM an during installation came across both Database (MySQL or MSSQL) and CRX Repository. What is the purpose of each and can we skip any one of them?

I have an adaptive form with a repeating panel - carsPanel.  The panel fields including text fields such as car number and carMake pulling from a database.  With the carMake field, I want to hide the field in a particular panel if the value in the previous panel is the same.  For instance, if the carMake field value in panel 1 is "Nissan", and the CarMake field value in panel 2 is "Cadillac", and the field value in panel 3 is "Cadillac", I want to hide carMakethe field in panel 3.  My script is below for the initialize event.    It is not working.  Thank you for any suggestions.  //Repeating Panel name is carsPanel. Hello, we try on AME 6.5 create HTML form and get a list of attached documents. For AEM 6.1 we found: Save task attachments in a process variable: Select a variable that contains files to attach to the task. The variable must be a list of document value However, in 6.5 we get in the process error  variable is  incompatible . Many thanks for advice how to get the list of attached documents. Jiri  

Hi Team,   I am using AEM forms to capture user inputs. I am deploying the configuration updates on the fragment like the pattern (regular expression), max length, css changes on the fields. I can see that configuration changes which i did are present when viewed via CRX,  but it does not reflect on the page where the fragment is added.   It would be great if someone can share the resolution for the same.   Thanks, Raghu 

Hi Experts, Is there any way where we can have very dynamic email template which can have conditional images rich texts, conditional ui experiences (like single coln or multiple columns) at time of form submission to some custom action ?If I have to achieve all the dynamic conditions and variations, I end up making 5-6 copies of email templates which is too much and in case there is any slight change in email ui then again I have to create another email template. Is there any way this requirement can be handled ootb or in a custom way? We have been noticing, some issues with XDP scripting/ repeating data binding when the files are uploaded to the AEM server. They work fine in the AEM Designer. But if the XDPS are uploaded to AEM server and called using the Output or Forms service.  The table looping scripts some times do not work.   Example  If an XDP has 2 Pages and in each page there is a dynamic table data which gets data from the corresponding payload. Schema bindings are mapped to the data Column.  In the first page there is  a table named Page1Table and it is a dynamic table with repeating rows that has the databinding as $.rowRepeats[*]  and then the corresponding column is mapped to  $.columnData in the databinding.   The same is done in the second page. That is in the second page there is a table named Page2Table and its rows are mapped to same $.rowRepeats[*]  and then the column value mapped to $.columnData.   That is the same mapping is used from
