Adobe Experience Manager Forms

Thanks to this community, I have created an amazing form that collects lots of data with repeating sub-forms and calculations. However, during testing we have come to the realization that the more information the user enters into the form, the slower it becomes. Its to the point that we cant do much but watch the little clock icon in Acrobat. I have placed a link to the folder that contains a sample filled out form along with the original LiveCycle Designer PDF file. If anyone has a solution that would be amazing. Hi,I have a custom bundle/code that converts the submitted XML data and XDP template into a PDF document, when an user fills in the form and submits it. The com.adobe.aemfd.docmanager.Document is used to generate this PDF file. The code contains Oracle prepared statement that stores the form's name and xdp name. This is working fine. I like to add/insert the PDF file in the table. The table is altered to include the Blob column.The code ps.setBlob(3, generatedPDF); is generating the following error:The method setBlob(int, Blob) in the type PreparedStatement is not applicable for the arguments (int, Document)How to cast the document argument to type Blob?Thanks,Leena

We have to use two different API's data to one ICC letter. Created one FDM using these 2 sources with different services. Using a backend service created one JSON file the necessary data. Now how to attach this JSON file to this Print Channel. Gone through the examples given in the experience league and other sites as well.Generating Print Channel Document by Merging Data | Adobe Experience Manager It says something like this in one of the example project dataOptions.setServiceName("ccm-print-test");There is also classes created on this "ccm-print-test" service. But unable to load this example project into server to see if any bundle service created for this service class.  Our request is to create get ICC letter that gets the dynamic data from the 2 different sources, and we created one FDM and attached that to the letter and  selected the Prefill Form Data Model service. Hello - I am sure this is easy, but I can't seem to find anything not related to $ and ¢.  I wish to convert a number with 5 decimal places to words - but I can't seem to find how.  It is not dollars - they are units from a managed fund - so 125.62365 for example.  Is this possible? WordNum works well - but I am sure just don't know how to extend it... Nat

I have a process within my form that calls a webservice.  When the call is made I get the response:  <html>Invalid client certificate: No client certificate provided</html>No errors are being thrown because the 200 status is being returned with the response.How do i get the certificate to go with the process request?

I am in the process of converting our PDF forms to XDP. I converted a simple form and set the "Color mandatory fields that are not filled in", but it still does not highlight mandatory fields. What am I missing? xfa.host.validationsEnabled is set to true.

I have a form which has two number fields that house formulas.  However, the second field can not be more than 50% of the first field, no matter what the calculation totals.  I.E..... field 1 + field 2 = field A ($500)field 3 + field 4 = field B ($400) But field B cannot be any more that $250 (which is 50% of field A) How can I do this?

Greetings All,I have just installed a local instance of AEM 6.4 JEE on a Windows 11 laptop for some development testing.I have found that I have an issue with data modified by the Prepare Data orchestration not being reflected in the rendered form for Assign Task - UserServiceV2.I have no issues with the prepare data that fires on the Workspace Start Point - the data updates made in that orchestration are reflected in the rendered xdp.I have not seen any other data issues in the main or prepare data orchestrations, or any errors tied to the render event in Server.log or error.log in the CR-X. The service is set to run the prepare data process when a user opens the task.The data presented matches the data being passed into Assign Task ( before prepare data runs ).I have recordings turned on, and the prepare data process is executed successfully.The server installation was run as administrator - with UAC disabled.Merging the XML output of prepare data with the XDP produces the desir

We use AEM forms and we use only the rights management modules.We would like to understand if we are vulnerable to the recent Log4j vulnerabilities, specifically CVE-2021-44228. If so, how do we mitigate?

Regarding the new Apache Log4j vulnerability as per (CVE-2021-44228)The AEM Forms on JEE 6.5.8 uses the log4j 2.10, 2.11.1 versions. These versions are affected by this vulnerability. Could anyone else using it please confirm the same. There may be a temporary workaround to add "‐Dlog4j2.formatMsgNoLookups=true" but not a complete fix. I have already opened a ticket on the Daycare site but haven't had any response yet.

When creating an Interactive communication letter, is it possible to use more than one form data model. That is data for the letter comes from three different services. For example, Customer and Billing services. At present both are written as different API services. So is it possible to combine these two services and create one Form Data Model.  If so, can this only be done via backend servlets. Please advise.Thanks

Hello, I have created an XML Schema Definition (XSD) and there are no issues with creating the data connection in the Designer XDP. I am able to properly bind the fields in the XDP. When creating an adaptive form in AEM and selecting the Schema, it states there is an error: "XML Schema Validation Failure - An error occurred while parsing SCHEMA. I am working in the Customer Invoice form template where my table(Dynamic) is overflowing even though I have wrapped my table in a sub-form and made the allow page breaks true in the necessary locations. When the data is large, the table is getting started on the second page, making the first-page blank, and on the second page, it is overflowed for the first line item, and for the second line item, everything looks good.I have tried changing the Allow page breaks and Repeat rows, but it doesn't work.Can someone help me with this, please? Please find the below link to access the form and XML data that I used for checking.XDP File XML   Thanks.

Hello, In my adaptive form I am using rich text fields (Text Box component with Rich Text enabled) and need to set the default font family for the submitted XML. I am using the guideBridge.getDataXML function on form submission. Currently upon submitting, the default font family is Times New Roman. How can it be set to another font such as Arial? Desperate here - of late, my AEM is crashing every time I attempt to add a calculate script - Java and FormCalc alike.  I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it has not helped.  I have just been working around it but this time I can't. Has this happened to anyone else and have you been able to fix it? EDIT - it appears to happen when I type the word "this" !!  As soon as I do that, it freezes up and closes down.
