Adobe Experience Manager Forms

I’m using AEM 6.3. I have a Check Box function which opens a hidden row when checked. I’m able to fill out the new row and save it. Unfortunately, when I re-open the file in Reader and DC, the new row is not visible. How can I configure AEM to display the new row when re-opening the file?Saved layout: Reopened layout: 

Does a form created by Adobe Lifecycle Designer limit write access to one person so that if another person opens the file after a person has the form open, he/she will be restricted from making data entries to prevent overwriting and duplication? I want users to enter their inputs into a common file for centralization. 

Hi,I'm new to design forms and I would like to know if it is possible to change the next/previous buttons position in a Wizard panel, e.g. placing them on the bottom of the form. Thanks for the support.Roberto

Hi All,We have a serious issue with AEM InvokeService (i.e. guidelib.dataIntegrationUtils.executeOperation() ) and guideBridege.validate() as the invokeService never terminates after guideBride.validate() returns true. We have an adaptive form consisting of 6 tabs and 6th tab is Review and Submit. Once user clicks on Submit button(type="button"), i will run guideBride.validate on each tab and once it returns true, i will invokeService which could be either POST (If user hasn't saved the form) or PUT operation. If I disable the validation then the form gets submitted but if i enable the validation, it shows the errors messages for all required fields if they are left blank and finally control goes to executeOperation but never exits.In the sample code below we are never going to see "after fdm" in the console after successfull validation. But if i disable guideBridge.validate then form will get submitted and we can see the log message "after fdm" in browser console.var operationInf

The AEM Forms ref packages install and work ok on e.g. Forms 6.5.3, but there seems to be some conflict and not able to subsequently edit any adaptive forms or templates on the box, so not able to customise these samples. Are there any known workarounds or fixed-up versions of these packages in the pipeline ?

I'm required to validate a panel on click of the next button. I was able to achieve this using the method described here https://www.tothenew.com/blog/tips-tricks-for-aem-6-2-form-development/#comment-568864 But to complete the form also need to:1) Also apply this rule to the next button rendered on small screens/mobile devices2) Disable the ability to navigate forward by clicking on the tabs How can I do this?

 Hello All, Whenever we are trying to invoke any process that uses generatePDFOutput service. We get corba time out error in the log for the first time The same works perfectly fine second time. We have increased every possible timeout in the server such as JTA, MaxStuckthread timeout etc. Still it does not gets fixed. Restarting the server helps only for sometime. After few hours we again get those issues. The environment details are given below. AEM Forms JEE 6.5 + Weblogic 12.2.1.3.0 + Linux + MS SQL Server 2016. Hello All,We have 6.5 AEM Forms JEE + Weblogic + MS SQL Server. Frequently we are unable to login to admin ui using administrator and password. After restarting the managed server, admin server and node manager it works. But it happens mostly on a daily basis. Any idea?

I have a dynamic pdf form that is used for applications. Would it be possible to have a button that when clicked opens or generates another form with certain fields already filled out (name, address, etc.) from the application form? I could maybe add the evaluation to the first form and have it hidden until the button is clicked? Is that possible? The application form has a lot of addInstances already, so I don't know if that matters. Any advice you can give will be greatly appreciated.

I have a form with multiple attachment components on it.On draft save the data will be send to an external system. Later the form can be continued and is prefilled with the data from the system.All fields are bound to a xsd scheme. What is the support on aem to prefill the previously saved attachments? So the user can open the attachments in the browser after opening the prefilled form.Thanks

Hi,We are trying to create checkboxes dynamically based on a service in AEM forms 6.4. I know there is an option available in 6.5 but not able to achieve it in 6.4. We have an adaptive form that accepts attachments. On a recent failure to send the flattened .pdf with the Send With Document activity, the attachments were about 2.5 MB a piece upon submission. After assembling the .pdf, the attachments grew to ~15 MB a piece. The error message we receive is: 08:05:23,531 WARN [com.adobe.image2pdf.bmc.Image2PDFConverterInternal] (RequestProcessor-35) ALC-PDG-001-000-Jpeg specific converter failed JFIF APP0 must be first marker after SOI.  It is puzzling to me that the assemble .PDF works just fine with this form and its attachments. It just fails to send the email. When I open the image in Notepad, there is no JFIF but instead Exif but then I opened a personal image in Notepad and it also had Exif and sent through the process without error.  This is happening in production and often.

By default, the adaptive form page content is centered and is not set to adjust to the width of the browser. In the theme editor, how do you make it so the page content is left adjusted, with the content stretched to fit to the width of the browser? I changed the setting of the Page to float:left, but the content of the form is not stretch to fit to the browser.  Please see below image for clarification.  

Hello,  I'm working on a project which uses Forms. I have a requirement to Sign the PDF and save the Document of Record in JCR. When I'm using the form without Signature Step and Summary step, then the Document of Record and XML data is saved under /content/forms/fp/admin/submit/data. The submit action is set to Forms Portal Submit Action.But with Signature Step and Summary step, nothing is saved. The signing process works correctly, I can also download the PDF from the summary step after signing. I tried to set "Save data in Forms Portal" checkbox in the Submission section of Adaptive Form Container but it didn't help. It looks like maybe the Signature step or Summary step has its own submission action and the configuration in the Submission section is skipped then.I also tried to get rid of the Summary step but then I'm being redirected to Adobe Sign during the signing process and it never goes back to AEM, which I suppose is expected. The question is: How to

Hello Experts!  Apologies for what may be a basic question.  I am a new user to AEM Forms 6.5 and am building a 7 page form.  I need to make pages 5 and 6 invisible for both viewing and printing to end users (but still visible to me in Design View), unless a dropdown "Yes/No" selection on page 4 is answered Yes - which then needs to make pages 5 and 6 visible for the user to complete.  I am able to change the dropdown to radio buttons or check boxes if that will make this any easier.  Any other scripting (buttons, etc.) has been done in Java, but I am a true newb to scripting.  Thank you in advance for any assistance!

Hi,We are trying to configure AEM forms with salesforce. The Datasource configuration for salesforce using oauth2 was successful but creating "Form Data Model" under "Data integrations" throws the following exception. Hi there,currently i display the content of a table on a page, everything works fine.But now i need to display the same table on other page, i copied the items to the new page and it does not work, i suppose it's an index problem, if that is the case how can i reset it? Thanks for any help.

UPDATE: I have figured out how to repeat the pages infinitely and get grand totals to appear, however I wanted the totals to actually accumulate every time a subform set is added and not have the entire form grand totals from page one on. Does that make sense? The trick is that I need to make accumulating totals in some of these fields as the user repeats the Subform Set of pages and fills out certain fields. Thank you!

Hi experts!I have a dynamic form created in Adobe LiveCycle Designer ES4 and I have a few stumbling blocks.Here is a screen shot of the stripped down version of what I’m trying to create:Problem #1:Subform called amt has a drop-down with A and B options and a field called monthlyNetDue to enter a dollar amount.  Instances are added or removed using buttons.  This subform is wrapped into subform called SF1 and this subform can be added/removed using buttons.Following the SF1 subform is a subform called summary.  There are two fields Atotal and Btotal.  These fields need to calculate the total of the amounts entered in amt subform monthlyNetDue field.  I don’t know how to script the calculation for these two fields.  Can someone provide the script for these calculations?Example:Problem #2:Subform called bottomSF has two fillable fields and needs to be at the bottom of each page.  When subform SF1 and/or amt subform are added and fill up page one, I want

I have an Adobe form I am developing in AEM. In the form I have three subforms. The first is just a header and is not flowed. The next two are flowed forms that sit side by side on the page. In the respective subforms I have tables that are dynamic. I can add and delete table rows with out issue. What happens is that when table 1 reaches the bottom of Page 1, table 2 skips down to Page 2 instead of staying on Page 1 next to table 1. All subforms are within a 'master' subform that is flowed. All forms, tables, fields allow page breaks with in content. Pagination is set to Place in the only content area (Main) and After continue filling parent.
