Adobe Experience Manager Forms

Hi All,we are working in AEM 6.3 forms setup where we run production requests through set of generic IDs, now we have change request for changing old existing IDs with new IDs. These IDs are given same permissions as previous ids ie admin access to all the servers , access to all temp folders of the server (adobe, crx, windows) for full control usage, and in jboss windows service changing the logon id.  Now when we try to start Jboss service, it says it started but it is not completely up and running.  No logs files are generated nor unable to process the requests with new ids. Any other pointers to look why only adding new IDs are causing these issues ??@mayank_gandhi @336592 @10014790 

OS: CentOS7AEM Forms: 6.5 I have a form with several tables. The PDF Generated usingcom.adobe.aemds.guide.addon.dor.DoRServiceis ugly. See attached snippet.Note I am new to this.Suggestions? Other team members have suggested Forms and tables are ugly to use.  ThanksJoel   

Hi all,I have been trying to get the oauth2 support to work, but so far only authenticated-code is somewhat working.I need to know which authentication grant types are supported, the documentation around oauth2 in forms is missing a lot unfortunately. /Peter 

On v6.5.3, Tag A is present at path /content/cq:tags/project/folder1/tagA, this tag is moved to a new location, which is /content/cq:tags/project/folder2/tagA.Behind the scenes, Authors see the new tag path in page properties (say basic > cq:tags), but in crx/de the tag on the page still points to old location, which is /content/cq:tags/project/folder1/tagA.Mapping, /content/cq:tags/project/folder1/tagA tag has a property 'cq:movedTo' whose value is /content/cq:tags/project/folder2/tagA. And /content/cq:tags/project/folder2/tagA tag has a property 'cq:backLinks' whose value is /content/cq:tags/project/folder1/tagA tag. So, there's a 1:1 mapping. Other observation is, this /content/cq:tags/project/folder1/tagA tag is still present in crx/de - but not visible to Author, it is 'hidden' somehow and authors only see the new tag path, which is /content/cq:tags/project/folder2/tagA. This looks to be a new way of how tags are managed in v6.5.x, b

I have AEM Forms Designer 6.4 standalone application installed on my Windows 10 computer. Since there is no server, can I configure server settings options to preview a form in a browser on my computer? Is this possible? Or do I need to have an available server set-up to preview a form as HTML? Any suggestions appreciated.

Hi, I have created one multi-panel adaptive form in AEM 6.5. So like every child panel has some fields. Now in the last panel, I have one requirement like (Review & Submit). So In review, I have to show basically all panel fields. All panels fields  should come in the last (Review & Submit) to review.Is this possible? This product "AEM form", can it design a dynamic smart pdf form (xfa form) and distribute to user via offline method. After user filled and submit to "AEM form" server, can the product extract out the xml data from the dynamic smart pdf form (xfa form) and pass a customized program for processing?

Does "AEM form" product has a workflow engine? Can "AEM form" be integrated to a bigger web application, like part of a feature of a bigger customized application written by other software?

When install AEM Form 6.5  .execute "/ConfigurationManagerCLI.sh initializeLiveCycle -f CLI.properties" command, it display  "ALC-TTN-011-003" error, login database user have enough privileges to access database.Environment: Linux, JbossEAP 7.1, Oracle JDK 1.8, ojdbc8.jar, Oracle 19

We need to create an adaptive form that the Document of Record is formatted as a contract, with Adobe Sign fields.  When I refer to the documentation: https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/experience-manager-65/forms/adaptive-forms-advanced-authoring/working-with-adobe-sign.html, I get the following. "Use Adobe Sign block only for those adaptive forms which automatically generate Document of Record. If you are using a custom XDP for generating Document of Record or a form template based adaptive form, Adobe Sign block is not required." I can find documentation on setting up with Generic Document of Record, but not for XDP.  Currently I have an XDP with schema to bind information from the form to the XDP.  So, how to I set up my XDP Document of Record to capture the signatures, dates, and other signer fields in the correct location?  Thanks!

Hello,I'm trying to use AEM Forms addInstance() method inside a MasterPage to instantiate multiple times, via a for loop, a subform (placed outside the Master Page). The result is that it calls the document multiple times, it goes into an infinite loop. Is it not possible to use addInstance() in this way in a MasterPage??

Hi Everyone, I am deploying the AEM Forms 6.5 on Redhat Linux 7.6 and Jboss EAP 7.1.4. When I trying to deploy the mandatory .ear on jboss server.The follow .ear files are able to deploy – adobe-livecycle-native-jboss-[OS].ear– adobe-workspace-client.ear– adobe-livecycle-cq-author.ear– adobe-assembler-ivs.ear– (optional) adobe-output-ivs-jboss.ear However the the follow .ear cannot be deploy and show errors– adobe-livecycle-jboss.ear The following error is copy from the adobe-livecycle-jboss.ear.failed.I am quite new to the AEM so can anyone let me know how to fix this error? And I am not sure what is the 'EJBObject'? Can anyone let me know what is it? Thank you.

I'm fairly new to scripting and have looked for an answer to this; I have found some posts though have been unable to apply them to my scenario. I have one date that is automatically populated with the current date, and another (earlier) date that the user enters. I need to have a field which calculates the difference between these 2 dates in days.Any help appreciated - I'll use any help as a learning exercise!

Hello,I should insert in an AEM Forms template a fragment in which there is also some code in a Master Page. Generally to create a fragment I follow this procedure: I first create a form (let's call it formFragment) with New -> Form, I selected a subform and I click on Create fragment on it. So to use the fragment in the template that was supposed to import it (let's call it mainForm) I select Insert Fragment by choosing the subform in formFragment. This obviously does not allow me to import the formFragment Master Pages as well, so I tried to  use Create fragment on the first level of formFragment ("document"), on the main container, in order to select the whole form, including the Master Pages. But it is not possible to change the name of "document", so there is a conflict because there is the same name ("document") in both mainForm and formFragment, causing an error. How could I import the fragment along with its Master Pages? Thank you

Dear All - I am planning to integrate Adobe Sign with Adobe AEM forms. I have AEM 6.5 version installed. Did SSL configuration already. For step 4, I need to select "Adobe Sign" cloud service but it is not visible. I see all the other cloud services like Legacy Cloud Service, Translation Cloud Service,  facebook, twitter, rcapatch etc but this one is missing. When i try to access package share to download AEM forms.I am gettting the message "The Package Share server login page is currently not accessible".Any ideas?

I am evaluating how is it possible to implement Server Side Rendering in SPA app with React and AEM as content service. This is the approach I see Next.js suggest to have per-rendered and all most all CMS system suggests: 1. User request a page from react app running on Node server2. Node server requests JSON data from CMS through fetch call3. Then React App reads this JSON and transform HTML into String like renderToString() and sends the response back to the user. The disadvantage of this approach is that if JSON data from CMS is huge then first request takes long time. What alternate solution do you suggest?

Hi All,We are deploying the AEM6.4 on RHEL with the Jboss 7.0.6. The package we will deploy:1) adobe-assembler-ivs.ear2) adobe-livecycle-cq-author.ear3) adobe-livecycle-native-jboss-x86_linux.ear4) adobe-livecycle-output-ivs-jboss.ear5) adobe-workspace-client.ear6) adobe-livecycle-jboss.ear For above .ear we can deploy all EXCEPT the 'adobe-livecycle-jboss.ear' We open the 'adobe-livecycle-jboss.ear.failed' and found the error message 'org.apache.commons.discovery.discoveryexception: No implementation defined for org.apache.commons.logging.logfactory'. After we did some research we found that the AEM logging jar file might be conflict with the JBoss jar file. But we have no idea how to fix it. Please kindly offer your help. Thank you.
