Adobe Experience Manager Forms

I need to load a image for jcr node in a form for assigned step workflow task. The image was uploaded in previous step is in payload./var/fd/dashboard/payload/server0/2018-11-27/3G76W5ICECE6PISS6ADU4IH24M_6/Attach/fileupload/file.jpgI prefilled text's fields with XmlData but I can't do it with an image. What is the correct form to prefill this image component?

I support AEM 6.3 version and one of site which is hosted in AEM is getting below error message while launching in chrome but same link is opening in IE without any issues. It looks like somewhere in AEM it is configured as "http" which is preventing to launch the site. Can you please guide me where exactly this can be verified in AEM? I have indicated XXX which is the URL of the site but due to privacy mentioned it as XXX.Error Message:Mixed Content: The page at 'https:XXXXXXXXXX' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure resource 'http://XXXXXX'. Hello,We are experiencing an timeout while calling Output Service. The output service is taking around 320 seconds to complete the task.We increased the timeout time for more than that, but still we are getting a timeout.In the error below we can see that even after increasing the timeout in the console (see printscreen below) we are still getting an error.Caused by: ALC-DSC-305-000: com.adobe.idp.dsc.transaction.MarkedForRollbackException: The current transaction has been marked for rollback.  This means one of three things; 1) The transaction has timed-out (the timeout period was set to [950(sec)], while the actual transaction took [319(sec)]), 2) An unhandled Runtime exception occurred when calling another service (please check the logs for more detail), or 3) This is a JTA transaction and this service has explicitly marked the transaction for rollbackat com.adobe.idp.dsc.transaction.impl.ejb.adapter.EjbTransactionBMTAdapterBean.doRequiresNew(EjbTransactionBMTAdapterBean.java:2

Having multiple repeating SubForms binding to the same data node : In our documents, many times we need to display information from same table in multiple locations. For example, if document displays information of Insureds on one page and information of drivers on another page, we need to create a LiveCycle document with two SubForms. Each SubForm needs to have a repeating binding to CommonInsured element in XSD.  LiveCycle Designer is not able to handle such case. We cannot have two subforms bound to the same node, ONLY in a case where repeating option is selected for data binding. I have several drop down lists in a PDF I am creating. These drop down lists contain diagnoses to be used by physicians. With there being a LOT of diagnoses, it would be extremely convenient if I had a "search" function of some kind that could be utilized as the wording of the descriptions for the codes/diagnoses can vary: (Ex. "Rib Pain" or "Pain in Rib")As of now, the only option is to select the first letter of the name they believe the diagnosis to have. Using this example, they would select the drop down menu and press "R" and the list would jump down to the beginning of the R's. But, if the name is actually "Pain in Rib", they would have to search through all the other diagnosis codes to locate it.I believe a search function would be the most appropriate for something like this. But, I am having some trouble locating any info on coding for something of this nature. Hi,I am interested in how the CSRF protection works in AEM Forms when submitting to a REST endpoint (custom sling servlet deployed to AEM).I see that there is a ":cq_csrf_token" inserted when my form is submitted and I can see it is passed in the request.1) Is this token automatically verified by AEM when POSTing to a rest endpoint - if so, how does it achieve this?2) If this is not automatically verified what code would be needed within my rest endpoint in order to validate the csrf token is legitimate?I have searched for this information but cannot find all of the details, can someone  point me in the right direction?Thanks,Jim

I'm not sure if personalization is the right term but is it possible to load certain sections of the form (like form theme, form field values, etc) based on the selector or some attribute of the user? i.e. look and feel will be slightly different based on the user who's viewing it?Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi, I have to override the div for error message on my form fields. I can see that the div is appended in the guideruntime.js markError function. To override this my thoughtw were to:* use the guidebridge event listener for validation complete* remove the ootb div* Add my custom div My div is added but it appears that validation complete is actually called before the error is added to the DOM. * Is there another listener that could be used? * Or another approach to achieve the same result in javascript Thanks, James

Hi,I keep having this problem when signing in"You have reached this page because cookies might not be enabled on your browser. Please enable the cookies and then re access the LiveCycle application." I'm pretty sure the cookies were enabled on the browser (Chrome). I tested with firefox and IE too and they were having the same problem.I Tried to clear cookies too but it does not help 

Hey yall,I'm trying to override the GuideDropdown component to be able to populate the option values dynamically in the backing bean. The values get populated and the drop down renders fine but the form will not submit anymore and the following error is in the console. Hi, I am building a fillable PDF payment form with LCD and have run into a problem with calculating the sum. I have a 10-Rows table where people can fill-in the prices and I have a another "Total Amount" box that I wish will automaticlly add up the total sum of all the prices. However, after spent nearly an entire week of trying, I can not get it to work....I am a newbie at this and as of now, I have tried renaming the price boxes into "price1, price2, price3..." and used "Sum=(amount[Price1, Price2, Price3...])" in the Script Editor and I have tried with both languages(javascript/formcalc)..... but everytime when I go to preview, it either tells me that there is an error or the formula just doesn't do anything at all.... I don't understand where did I do wrong. I am working on a requirement where I need to change the static text value depends on other form field inputs. I wrote below script in value commit event of a text field to modify static text widget value.mySampleText.value= "Updated Text";orguideBridge.resolveNode("mySampleText").value = "Updated Text";both scripts or working when both text box and static text are present under the same panel. However the static text is not getting updated if it is present in different panel. I Have noticed that the static text field widget value is changing only on 2nd value commit event of  TextBox ( Both widgets are in different panels ) ! This behavior is not consistent.My scenario is to display multiple panel fields data as formatted paragraph text in last panel (i.e Signature) as attestation information. Please suggest an approach to update the static text field value to address requirement.

Hey Guys,We are currently performing migration from 5.6 to 6.4 but we need to support an application in AEM 5.6 to send a request to Forms 6.4 to generate a PDF. Initially we were generating using 6.2 but now we are moving to 6.4.I am able to generate a PDF if i request it from AEM 6.4 but i am getting an error if i request it from AEM5.6Below is the error. My problem is the following:In our invoice form we have a subform "position" which contains another subform "data" which is repeated by the number of positions we have in our invoice. So if a customer bought three items, the subform "data" gets also repeated three times. To display certain kind ofpricing information, I really need to know the row index of the subform.For example:Row index 1 --> Item No. 9876, 14$Row index 2 --> Item No. 9871, 10$Row index 3 --> Item No. 9870, 12$I already tried POSITION.DATA.instanceManager.count in the calculate event of a field in the subform, but it only returns 3, the absolute number of rows. Hi Team,I have to create a cookie based the page which is opened. It is getting created in publish instance. But when I accessed the same page through dispatcher, the cookie is not getting created. I have seen this thread - CQ dispatcher - Cookie issue . As per this we shouldn't cache pages, but my pages should cached.Is there any way to create cookie through dispatcher by allowing the respective cookie names using any of the dispatcher configuration rules?I'm using AEM 6.2.Please help me in this. Hi,I would like to pass variables to a "thank you" page that is shown when my form is submitted.Currently I am able to do this via the redirect params in post.POST.jsp of my custom submit action.However, this means that the values are passed in the URL query string parameters. I have a component on my thank you page that will read values from the request such as "firstName" and display them to the user.This will work with query string parameters and as sightly protects against XSS it "should" be ok....but I don't really like giving users the ability to tamper with this by altering the query string.I would much rather pass the values as attributes in the request (or using some other method).Can I achieve this?Adding attributes to the slingRequest in post.POST.jsp doesn't work - presumably as a new request is created for the final redirect.Thanks,Jim

Hi,I am working on the 35 pages Dynamic LiveCycle form where I am having many date fields (DOB, DOO and DOJ).Sometimes, the user enters the date manually instead selecting the dropdown. Suppose, if they start entering the value manually should get a popup showing "Please use the Dropdown instead of manually entering the date." So, it doesn't allow the user to enter the value manually.Once the user selected the date from the dropdown, the format of the date should be (mm/dd/yyyy).Can anyone help me with the JavaScript code?Thanks in advance.

Hi,I am designing a forms implementation where we want to configure fields (such as an email address) once and share them across multiple forms.The reason for this, is to control the functionality of fields (validation, max characters, consistent dropdown options ) etc, but allow authors to create forms using these pre-prepared fields. Fragments are (nearly) perfect for this, however there is one short coming that I need a solution for.I want to be able to vary certain settings on a per form basis.
