Attaching screenshot for reference. Repro stepsAfter deploying custom code on an instance, the instance restarts and a nullpointer exception occurs at "java.lang.NullPointerException: null  at com.day.cq.replication.impl.ReplicatorImpl.getReplicationStatus(ReplicatorImpl.java:288) [com.day.cq.cq-replication:6.2.86.CQ650-B0007]" in CRXDEWhen we try to reproduce the same on a vanilla instance, the issue doesn't occur unless we do a soft restart and deploy the core bundle of our custom code again. Note : after every deployment instance is getting restarted and issue mainly occurs after deploying core bundle and this is happening in all the AEM environment's (local . dev , uat e.t.c)Below are the steps tried so far to resolve the issue Removed imports and exports in the core pom which could also be imported by core componentsRemoved RepositoryInitializer from ui.configWe also tried removing Environment Indicator bundle from ACS commonsDecoupled/Removed other custom code depe

I have this pdf form (attached) that has hidden subforms that appear when certain boxes are checked. I'm having issues with my Section C. subforms. I have add/remove row buttons, plus buttons that allow the user to rearrange the data within. As long as the subform is set to Visible, the add/remove buttons work. When it is hidden, the add row button does nothing and the remove row button will take away the only row visible (and it shouldn't do that). I'm hoping someone can tell me what where I went wrong? To make it easier for you: If you answer "No" to the first question in Section B, Section C2 will appear.   If you check "a PMA based on Test and Computation" in Section A and answer "No" to the first question in Section B, Section C3 will appear.    C2 and C3 are my hidden trouble makers.  TYIA!

Hi, I have a requirement to render a XDP as HTML, have user fill in the data and then have a button on the HTML that says "Download PDF" when clicked, this should download a PDF rendering of the XDP with data prefilled (same data entered in the HTML form). Any ideas on how i can go about implementing this?

Hi everyone In Adobe Live Cycle Designer ES4, I have a text field named "TEXT" (option "Allow Multiple Lines" activated). It is binded to a string field of an ABAP structure.I want to change certain parts of the text field to bold. They are already marked with "\b" for the starting point and "\b0" for the ending point.How is that possible? I am not good with Javascript :(TEXT.font.weight = "bold" works for me, the complete field changes to bold. But how can I change certain parts of the text field? Thanks a lot in advance for any help!

Hi,How are bundle numbers created?I have two instances of AEM 6.5 installed in two machines. A bundle (say 450) is present in instance A but not in instance B. One suggestion is to get a copy of the missing bundle from A and install it in B. The instance B already has a different bundle with the same number 450. Will this overwrite the existing bundle in B? I cannot change the bundle internally by re-bundling it with an unique number. This is not an option for me. Is it safe to rename the bundle number from the file system in the launchpad/felix folder? Are there any other suggest to resolve it.Thanks

Hi,I have a dropdown with options in the form of: key=value:1=Option 12=Option 2... When I create a document of record, only the keys are visible, like: 1,2,3... I need to change that so in the DoR only the selected values are visible. Is there an API for that I can use? Or what can I do?

Consider a content fragment that refers another content fragment (nested content fragment).I have setup a GraphQL endpoint to fetch this content fragment along with its nested content. This endpoint is consumed by an external react application which retrieves and displays the data.Now, I need to display the same information in an AEM component. Would it be better to call the GraphQL endpoint within the AEM component, or is the traditional way of retrieving content fragments better?Additionally, if I do want to call the GraphQL endpoint from within an AEM component, what's the best way of doing it? Is it recommended to use Sling models for this purpose? 

Hello evereyone!I am setting up AEM Forms in my windows local, and trying to view OOTB xdp file as PDF/HTML.When I view it as PDF or HTML it redirects to forms parent folder.Does any one have faced this issue? Do we need to install any other packages so that I can view xdp files in pdf/html?Thanks in advance!

Using SoapUI to call an AEM JEE process using REST/JSON.   Process is enabled for REST.  On running through SoapUI it comes back with HTTP 200...however it looks like my json variables are not being picked up in Adobe.  Using the VariableLogger in workbench shows that my expected variables are empty.   JSON{variable: "test"variable1: "this is a test"} Any idea how to successfully pass these to AEM? Thanks.

Hi, as subject says, I want to save the value "lastModifiedBy" on Adaptive Form Fragment, since is not saved by default. Also I don't want to save the user ID, but the User Name. For this I created a workflow to save this information, but the problem is that the workflow saves the user as "workflow-service" instead of the actual user who modified the form. I tried using javascript on the page but the value doesn't save on the actual node, but temporally on the page, so it doesn't work either. The solution it doesn't have to be a javascript or a workflow, anything that works is fine, but I'm quite limited and I can use only the CRX to create/modify files and the AEM Platform itself. I cannot use servlets for example. I know this complicate the task, but it's what I can work for. I hope you can give me a proper solution. Thanks in advance! Best regards,Luis.

Hello,I'm using AEM aa CS. I have an adaptive form that needs to submit the document of record to a SharePoint list. The submission of form data only works as expected. However, when I try to save the DoR it doesn't submit. What configurations do I need to do?What type of column needs to be set in the SharePoint list in order to save the dor? When I am hitting that process design REST API from postman its giving 200 response code while through postman its giving 302. Why we are getting different response code. Is there any chance will get 302 response code from postman as well?

All,is there a way other than splitting url that one can access url in client library js alone ? I could do via models but want script to obtain it vs backend model eg http://localhost:4502/text/test2.abc.htmlsince I don’t believe I can get selectors directly within client library js passing using below option  I get the selector in htl and add a script in htl itself setting it to a variable, hoping I can get it in js or set it in a var id within data-sly-use

I'm facing the problem that the latest Designer 6.5.21.20240522.1.161 doesn't recognize any of my macros. The Extras menu just shows the accessiblity checker, not matter if I put the macro files under %AppData%\Roaming\Adobe\Designer\6.5\DE, C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Experience Manager Forms Designer\DE\Macros oder C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Experience Manager Forms Designer\Macros.In an older version it works fine.  Could someone crosscheck this?

Hello all, We are utilizing XDP files created via Designer tool and using it as a reference in AEM as Cloud Service with Forms environments. We are invoking Output Service to utilize the XDP we created using Designer tool as an input.    To refer to the XDP path we are uploading it to a desired path and referencing that. For now, addition of this .xdp file is done as a manual upload to the specific location. Now as we make changes or corrections, we are looking to manage this file via code.   Anyone doing this via code? We are planning to push the base XDP via code and refer that. Hence we will have versions also stored and manual upload to all environments can also be avoided.   Any thoughts?   Regards,   Shubham  

I have two requirements and both are linked to multifield. Lets start with the simpler one first. In the AEM forms, metadataschema editor, there are a list of component on the right side. I would like to create a multifield that encompasses various data elements. When a user clicks "add" in the multifield, it should present one textfield, two dropdowns, and one checkbox. In the metadata schema editor, all elements on the right rail are simple, and even the mvtextfield is essentially a multifield with single text data. However, my requirement involves multiple data elements of different data types within the multifield. After implementing the below mentioned two code changes, I observed the appearance of a "Custom Component" on the right rail in the metadata schema UI. However, upon dragging it onto the page, I noticed that it initially displays a multifield with two text fields (I added two text fields for simplicity, though I intend to have different fields as detailed earlier).
