Passing Data Value Choice of Dropdown List to next page

I have a Dropdown list in my master page, it consists of Choice 1, Choice 2 and Choice 3. Default value is Choice 1. When I select Choice 2 in Page1 I want it to remember selection to the next page. Can it be done? Any help appreciated. Thank you in advance
