Tabulate majority answer from multiple drop down lists

Hello! I have built a performance appraisal form using several drop down lists that offer the same choices (exceeds standards, meets standards, needs improvement and unsatisfactory). I would like to determine an overall performance rating based on the majority response from all the drop down lists and auto populate a text field with that result. I have specified item values (exceeds standards = 1, meets standards = 2, needs improvement = 3 and unsatisfactory = 4) for each of the drop down lists. I'm new to javascript and I'm not skilled enough to get the results I am looking for. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
