Hi All, The "Policies" tab in the properties for DAM folder is missing in one of the environments. Couldn't find any difference in the permissions for the admin user as well.   Could there be any other setting missing? Kindly suggest. Thank you

hey guys, I recently started working on a migration project wherein the codebase is already having a skeleton cloud compatible repo.They ran the BPA report on AMS Production and then manually did a lift-and-shift from AMS repo to Cloud compatible repo. The expectation is to resolve the issues highlighted in BPA on the cloud compatible repo directly which seemed weird.The first query would be like is this way feasible to do the cloud migration? Currently I am referring to the BPA report and then making changes in the cloud repo. We have already resolved the Build based blocker issues w.r.t Asset Update workflow which were reported by the build pipeline.  Secondly, the cloud-based repo is actually highlighting more issues than the AMS based repo which seemed odd.So I ran the BPA report on a local cloud sdk instance with the below results -  Are these results to be expected on a local cloud sdk version 2024.07?++ @arunpatidar, @estebanbustamant

I was wondering if there was an option to set the specific image role you want to display on the live search popover widget? Currently it's setting the default image role as the image to be shown. I couldn't find any option in the Magento live search settings nor any documentation on whether you can pass an image role through the configuration in the code. Is it possible to specify a CA configuration as required or Not-Null or Unique.I am exploring for a use-case where I don't want my config collection which has a key-value pair properties to be blank or duplicate. I've implemented a new option for publish to preview, but I'm unable to find where to disable the option if required fields in my content fragment are not authored.Can anyone help me with the path in libs where Quick Publish and Manage Publication options are disabled if required fields are not authored, so that the same I can override. Thanks in Advance!

I am replicating the page using a custom workflow. There is no issue in replicating the page but AEM shows Published By as workflow-process-service in sites.html. I think it uses system users to replicate the pages. But I want to pass the user (who approved the workflow) in the replication API but there is no way of sending username in the replicator API.    @3214626 private Replicator replicator; ... replicator.replicate(session, ReplicationActionType.ACTIVATE, path, replicationOptions);   Is there any way to pass the username in replicator or any other API is available in AEM?

I have to migrate my project from AEM AMS to AEM Cloud. I have 4 Editable templates and 1 Experience fragment template in my AEM AMS. What is the step by step guide for the Migration. Will the Editable templates work as it is, no configuration changes needed? I don't have static templates in my project, so don't need to change to editable template. thanks

Hi all,Why should we use Dynamic Media in AEM? It does some things that DAM cant.Is it a different server with a lot of disk space? Physical server?If so, will add to the network latency?If used, will it replace DAM or it works in conjunction with DAM?Since Dynamic Media in AEM has been in use for a longtime, I would assume that it is available for AEM on Prem/AMS also. I am having an issue with updating a specific component's policy. I have updated it in code, but when I deploy the code, the changes are not there. I have a file /conf/project/settings/wcm/policies/.content.xml that includes all policies related to templates and components. Within it I have a custom component called hero-banner that I added a style called "half-height" to in code. Our technology stack is : AEM 6.5 SP 17 / AEM Guides 4.3.1.5 / RHEL8/Java 11We are migrating our SAML implementation from ping federate to Azure.After integrating AEM with Microsoft Azure, AEM fails to load corresponding user group for logg-ed in user. Even if the group is added to the user using /useradmin page, group gets removed from the user during the next login.
