Adobe Experience Manager Sites

Hi All, When we upload an image in DAM, it allows the uploading of image with extension (.png /.jpg). But when we try to modify the name with the Move operation we get error that  ".  is not allowed" as it contains an extension. If we remove the extension, then it is allowing us to modify the name, but in pages, the usage of the existing extension will break. Please let me know anything we are missing in this case?

Hi, I'm having issue with SPA when I copy page from different folder or copy pages from difference environment. (Prod to stage) using and copy tool (ACS, Cloud Manager Copy Content). Page is blank, upon checking the network tab I see the en.model.json doesn't exist in that path and throw an error for en.model.json file (500 Server Error).  But if I manually create root page and children pages in environment. I see en.model.json is loading and working fine.  If anyone else running AEM SPA, do you have this issue?

I have a requirement as belowIn One Content fragment , i have added fragment reference (CF A)  and it will refer another fragment.  (CF B)Suppose if i do any change in CF B, same changes should get publish CF A also which CF B is refered .Because in CF A , i wrote a servlet to publish the CF A values to third party on publish /save the CF A.So Reference and idea will be good. 

We have site pages under project "/content/project/en/us/page-1" , and some of these page have components that fetch content from content fragments under "/content/dam/project/cfs/CF-1" While creating an AEM > Sites > Launches (<server>/libs/launches/content/launches.html ) , we are able to add Pages, Experience fragments etc., but DOES NOT SHOW OR LET US browse to or show anything "/content/dam" (below). Is there a work around? And/or are we missing anything?              

I would like to know if its possible to have a Pop window in AEM. For instance you have a page that that a buy button, once a user clicks the buy button, the pop-up window should be opened to see a list of countries flag to choose from.Is this Possible? if yes how do i go about it.  TIA.

Hi All, We are trying to use the AEM global search functionality to use the search functionality as is. We are looking for a solution where we can consume a JSON and build a custom UI on top of that. If I inspect the network tab I can see that the search call is returning a HTML as below.  Is there a way we can use the same query and search results as JSON and build a custom UI on top of it ? 

Hi, I am trying to extract & download list of dam images which are not references in pages. I am currently working on a project where I need to create a website using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). The website is designed to represent multiple malls, with each mall housing numerous stores. Additionally, these stores will be providing various offers.The client’s requirement is to store all the data related to the malls, stores, and offers in the AEM Java Content Repository (JCR). They have specifically requested not to use SQL, MySQL, or any other external data storage systems.Given this scenario, I am seeking advice on the best way to structure this data in the JCR. Is it appropriate and efficient to store such hierarchical data in the JCR? If so, could you provide some guidance or best practices on how to achieve this?Is the following way or organizing this data in JCR is proper way ? Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have an existing page that was sent via workflow to publish at midnight. The stakeholder now wants to have that page published for noon the next day. How do I prevent that page from publishing at the earlier time and instead publish on the next day. I know we could tell the page author to revert back to the page's earlier state, and then re-enter the new content the next day for scheduled publication at noon. Any way to change the publication date without reverting content back?

While i am trying to open linkshare page from Tools > Assets > Assets Configuration > Link Share then blank page is getting loaded for me.

Hi, We have a Vanity URL setup at page level on AEM and with the default settings, it works fine.https://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/kb/ams-dispatcher-manual/disp-vanity-url.html  I also have a "resource mapping" setup to define redirects, and vanity URLs so that the internal structure of AEM content is hidden from the visitors. To achieve this, I have set up a passthrough redirect at the dispatcher's end (similar to https://github.com/adobe/aem-guides-wknd/blob/main/dispatcher/src/conf.d/rewrites/rewrite.rules#L21-L32). Due to this scenario, vanity URLs are getting 404 though there are part of vanity URL file.  Is it possible to exclude vanity URLs from these redirects or is any alternative solution available?  

I am using the default template only for my custom pages, but export.zip fails to export the page and its libraries. In the logs, I see a null pointer excpetion in pageexporterimpl. Also, what are the additional configurations to be made for a custom page (not we.retail) for the export to work.  I have tried with a custom export template as well, but doesn't work.

I hv three different asset type for eg - jpeg,png,ttf  and for all three hv their different metadata.Can some one help me how to manage metadata so that  i can see different asset metadata properties for different asset type. Thanks.

I am trying to make some changes in the content.xml and then deploy it using command " mvn clean install -PautoInstallPackage"  But the changes do not reflect on the content.
