Adobe Experience Manager Sites

I've a custom workflow (No custom Java involved) which is mainly aimed at reviewing the pages before it gets published. Now I want to add a few fields to the existing dialog which currently shows like this :Say I want to add a field where the author will put in the relevant ticket number and also put in some checkboxes for the authors to indicate what all sections they've modified. These fields should start populating in either the Workflow Info or WorkItem tab. Can someone please help me out with the approach? I'm fairly new to workflows and appreciate any help that I get regarding this.

Hi all I would like to pre-define a set of variations (to achieve a naming in accordance to our conventions) when creating a content fragment model. Is this somehow possible? Another approach which comes to my mind is that the variations would be created automatically whenever a CF of that specific model gets created. Do you have any sample code for such a use-case? Thank you and best regards

I'm encountering a problem while having CSP header set on my page, and as per https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/id-service/using/reference/csp.htmlI've added the relevant domains with wildcard but still seeing violation reports to my backend saying these domains report the policy. Hello everyone Good Morning, Hope you doing well!! We have one use case where if user creates any page at specific path we have to add few page properties automatically. To achieve this we created custom workflow and through launcher we triggering workflow. While creating page workflow gets trigger but until unless user complete step of workflow property not getting added at jcr:content. It should be auto and not require user to make complete step. Is anyone does similar kind of implementation?  Thanks.

Everything working fine as of now and the site is in production already. Now the team is expecting to upgrade the Angular version from 9 to 11/13. Hi Everyone, We are modifying multifield wrapper component utilized across 1000 pages. I am trying to set up a GraphiQL endpoint in my AEM instance. I want the data to include the content of the CF but also the list of URLs where the CF is referenced. I found this data within CRXDE -- it exists in AEM -- but when I ask for a GraphiQL endpoint, the JSON field arrives empty instead of an array of AEM page links. Has anyone else experienced empty fields?

Hi, as background I'm fairly new to AEM and have to look into this platform that has been around at the company for over 5 years and changed ownership a couple of times. To me it's a bit of a black box. I have read all the Adobe documentation regarding the architecture of AEM, Hardware Sizing Guidelines, Performance Tuning Tips etc. What struck me is that our instances (both author and publisher) are insanely large (122 GB RAM), which seems excessive to me considering what the platform is doing. If I go by the sizing guideline it recommends around 2G JVM heap memory. I found some IaC templates on Github that deploy an AEM stuck and their defaults have 4/8 GB as min/max JVM heap.   I created a heap dump and loaded it in VisualVM and it's 95% bloated up with String class instances over 100 Mio instances taking up over 30 GB. After calculating references and following them through some referenced hash maps they have some Lucene PropertyIndex as root. I read u

Our assets are being hosted through scene7. A new ask is for a way for text content to wrap an image. I know that it's no longer recommended to use the RTE component for images but I still added the button back in an attempt to see what would happen. I noticed it's only adding assets from our DAM and not scene7.I also attempted to set up a 50/50 container and added in a Text component and a Dynamic Media component, but quickly realized that since each component were in their own container, there wasn't a way to float it so the text could wrap. Has anyone had any luck finding a way to wrap the text around the scene7/Dynamic Media asset or add a component that will allow that while keeping the benefits? Appreciate any help, thanks!

Hi i have an issue when using a custom transformer extending from DefaultTransformer .basically the requirements that i need are  :being able to append text to all anchor links from a page this meaning is the anchor link its #clickme i should append to it baseUrl#clickme . I am using the AttributesImpl to handle the data and  i am able to process all the links that contain an anchor. Links containing anchor will be indicate by starting with # .The problem is when updating the value , if i update the attribute using for example #clickme+baseurl and then call the supper.startElement it will generate the href tag correct  but the issue is that this is wrong. The correct order needs to be baseurl+#clickme the issue is that if i append anything before the #.   I try to append the full url , externalized url , vanity url , shorter url , random text before the #. Hi, Environment: AEMasCS I have a requirement to access the SHTML file using my website domain. So, I uploaded the SHTML file into my DAM, activated to publish instance, and tried to access the shtml file using my website domain. Unfortunately, I am unable to execute the directives inside the shtml file and browser rendering only the static text on the browser. This I am trying in AEM as a Cloud service environment. Does anyone have leads to render the shtml file on the browser from the AEM DAM? On file upload, jcr:mimeType is blank. Hi Team,Happy New Year every one!I am facing one issue related to relay state in OKTA.  Below are the details.Scenario : When user is not-logged-in and Requested page is Authenticated Page and Page Got cached in Dispatcher ( Permission Sensitive Caching in AEM) When request came to dispatcher for authenticated pages, it will call Auth check servlet for checking Authentication and Authorization. If user is not authenticated, then user will be redirected to login page in Auth Check servlet. Upon successfully logging in, users should be automatically redirected back to the original page, ensuring a smooth and uninterrupted transition between authentication and accessing the desired content. But, user is always going to home page(defaultRedirectUrl)  which we configured in com.adobe.granite.auth.saml.SamlAuthenticationHandler.    Any Inputs/Suggestion on this.Thanks in advance.

Hi Everyone, One of my instances has errors with oak indexing.When I check the URL for status, I can see the status as failing - <ENV_URL>/system/console/jmx/org.apache.jackrabbit.oak%3Aname%3Dasync%2Ctype%3DIndexStats Need some pointers, if we can try to find the possible reasons behind the indexing failure.
