Hi wonderful people, I have a custom post-processing workflow model which gets triggered by CustomDamWorkflowRunnerImpl.This gets triggered after AEM completes all of its internal asset compute processing. The first step in the workflow model is a GOTO process which calls a sling service to determine the return value. GOTO process ECMA script below -     function check() { var returnVal = false; var service = sling.getService(Packages.com.adobe.service.TrialServiceInterface); if (service && service.isEnabled()) { returnVal = true } log.info("Return value: " + returnVal); return returnVal; }      Workflow model: Based off the script result, GOTO step should either redirect to the TARGET_NODE_PATH step or carry on with its normal route to the next step.  Issue:I see the ECMA script executing successfully.It then it leads to a PathNotFoundException (possibly during its internal rou

Hi everyone,   I have a custom requirement where the author wants to activate through workflow more than one asset using search filter option. a button needs to be available to start a workflow but i'm not able to find whether I need to overlay from libs or create a custom js.         I tried to find documentation but there is not any reference. Hi Team, I am getting issue with translation jobs stuck to status SUBMITTED instead of Translation In Progress, if started after creating from Reference Panel.We are using AEM 6.5.18 version. I have created Translation projects from Reference Panel using Human Translation Method.Opened the Project Console and Started the Translation Jobs.Jobs Status updated from DRAFT and stuck into SUBMITTED status.Expected: Status should be TRANSLATION IN PROGRESS Temporary Solution:I found the workaround for the above issue is, If we Open the Translation Job Properties dialog from Project Console and press Save and Close. Then after it start the translation jobs, then it works fine and available to Vendor for translation. But this should not be, Ideally Translation jobs created and started from Reference panel should work normally. cc @aanchalsikka / @kautuk_sahni

Hi, I have the requirement where the page jcr description should be populated in a component's description field when dialog is open. please note: the component is authored on the same page. Now,  if I edit the description field in component dialog and save it. the new content or description should start reflecting in the page description field as well in page properties. Is there any optimized way through which two fields with same name in different location(different locations meaning page component and individual component) can share the same data. Please advise.

Hiii Community, As per requirement, I need to prepare a model in such a way that after clicking on checkbox more fields should be visible under them, so for this I think grouping can be the best possible solution.   As in above image, All fields are visible, if value of checkbox is true then both Content Browser(Logo and File) shall be set as required field else if checkbox is not true then both Content Browser under them shall remain hidden.   As per my knowledge Grouping is not possible, kindly suggest some approach to satisfy this requirement.

Hi Team, currently , rules already in place to remove the .html from the URL in dispatcher to remove and point the cta links in the page without .html extenstion but Vanity redirects still redirecting to .html extn currently we can access page with and without html extension both what can be the issue and resolve this issue ?

Is there any way to hide workflow's step back from users (participants) ?Sometimes participants must not see "system steps" like "lock page", "activate page", "go to", etc. I found we can overwrite standard backroutes.json.jsp with additional "check permissions" logic.But, I think that it is not a good way. Because this behaviour can be changed in any future update or another bundle will try to do the same "upgrade".

Hi,We're using the SAML Authentication Handler in AEM6 SP2 and this is working fine for logging in.  We've also checked the "Handle Logout" option and filled in the "Logout URL" of our IdP. However, when we call /system/sling/logout.html there does not seem to be a call to the IdP to the logout URL.  So I have a few questions about this:Is it correct to do a HTTP GET request to /system/sling/logout.html to initiate the SAML logout flow?  Or is there another URL that should be used for this?Is it correct that the actual SAML logout request is supposed to happen in the user's browser?  Or is this done server-side by AEM (AEM calling IdP directly)?Is there some logging available in AEM somewhere to debug this SAML flow?  It would be good if we could see in a debug log whether the SAML Authentication Handler is actually trying to handle the logout or not...Many thanks,Jan

when creating a blueprint the "create site" button grey's out as in the language code we are using "-" instead of "_".Could you please have an enhancement to enable create site button even if we use "-" in the language copies. Is this an OOTB functionality that was being used for Create Site command that was triggering for the payloads msm:masterPages: /content/xxxxxxx/language-masters/en_us msm:masterPages: /content/xxxxxxx/language-masters/es_mx  But in our project specific we are using en-us and es-mx.Now we can't go back and change the language to use "_" as that would need tremendous changes to our content system.

Hi All, Unable to see "Auto-start workflow" option on asset folders in Local AEMaaCs SDK. Looks like this feature is not enabled on any local set up its available on the Cloud Service Instance. Anyone can you let me know, how to configure custom workflow on folder for development activity as it involves lot of back and forth code fixes would happen based on test result. Requirement to trigger custom workflow (post processing workflow) configured on the folder where assets upload happen. When upload of asset complete needs to auto-trigger custom workflow for updating custom metadata on assets.Can you share your thoughts around it.

might be best explain with an example   These are 6 sample nodes   /content/myhost/products/shoes/mens/shoe1 /content/myhost/products/shoes/mens/shoe2 /content/myhost/products/shoes/womens/shoe1 /content/myhost/products/shoes/womens/shoe2 /content/myhost/products/shoes/kids/shoe1   I want to return all nodes where the node name = "shoe1" BUT I do NOT want to return node5. So in my sample nodes, no1 and 3 will be included. Node5 is not included.   How can I do it?   I looked at the nodes and there's nothing in the node properties that can help me. Hi! I'm a front end content manager trying to determine the best way to build an accordion. I have one already built using page layout/visualizer components. I would like to fill individual accordion tabs with reusable content on different pages in a future state. In my current accordion construction the content in each tab is more than just text and is a combination of images, video, and in some cases nested accordions, and is generally more complex than just text. I've looked at CONTENT FRAGMENTS, however since they're just text based it seems that they don't quite fit the bill since I won't have the control over the layout as I did building the entire accordion on the page via the visualizer. Is there a full Rich Text editor available in CONTENT FRAGMENT where I can add HTML?  It may just be turned off for me, which I can request access from my dev team?Can EXPERIENCE FRAGMENTS be used to fill a accordion tab(s)? Expected BehaviourWhen using the dispatcher module with the associated Resource Resolver Factory rewrite rule, images referenced in /content/wknd should resolve.Actual BehaviourAny images in the Image Core Component don't resolve correctly due to rewrite and mapping rules.The image component maps the path from /content/wkdn/us/en/.... to /us/en/... causing them to return 404 at Apache/Dispatcher as they are not mapping to the page's path in the repository. Please help me on this issue. Hello, what happens is that I have a template that has a java model with information (name, description, etc), this model receives the information from AiO and then map it in the frontend html file, but what I want to implement in the frontend is a button that prints a pdf file in the using information from the java model of the template. The creation of the pdf is done in a java file using a library called itext7 to create the pdf and to be able to call this function from the frontend I use a JavaScript file to make the request by ajax. But I have the problem that to make the pdf I need to use the information of the template model, my question then is: how do I pass the information of the java model of the template to my java servlet that makes the pdf? I try to send the information of the java model of the template to the java servlet that makes the pdf but through an interface but java doesn't allow it, because the java model of the template is a class and it doesn't

I am trying to create an AEM linked folder at either the Program level or Task level, but always get the "Oops, Something Went Wrong" message. I can do it at the Project level, but I have assets that are campaign-wide (Program) and task-specific. Linking folders to those specific document locations would be much preferred. Is this a known issue? PS. I hate the flippant "Oops Something Went Wrong" message. So much
