Adobe Experience Manager Sites

Here's my problem I want to reuse my dialog for images using foundation include. My use cases are in one instance I need my node structures to be the following:  component1/cta/imagescomponent2/mobile/images It may be an oversight on my part but I can't seem to find a way that I can include my images dialog under the differing node structure cta or mobile. Is this possible and if so what would I use?

Hi,I have created a custom search component and in that I had written a html file and for backend side I created a resource type servlet and services. The servlet is working fine, it is giving me the correct response while tested with postman. But when i used that servlet api in my custom component html page of form tag with action= servlet url and method=POST. Then I am getting an error 403 Forbidden with statement "Cannot serve request to /content/aem-site/us/en/component-basics/_jcr_content.geeks.xml in BundledScriptServlet (/libs/sling/servlet/errorhandler/default.jsp)".Why this error is coming that I don't know. Then I figure out the Servlet Resolver where my servlet is working fine but not in html. Then I removed POST from the CSRF Filter then my servlet is working in the html. But why I have to remove the POST api method from the CSRF Filter, this is not proper solution. Hi Community members, Greeting of the day, hope you all are doing well. Recently we have removed a 3rd party UI framework in our Customer portal application which is running on the AEM 6.5.10. We replaced framework code with custom code(components, templates, sling-models). After doing this change:Any of the components are not refreshing after adding/updating the content from component properties and saving the properties dialog. After refreshing the whole page only the content is getting refreshed on the page. It was working earlier with that  framework, and it also working in we-retail test application pages also. I tried to add cq:editConfig -> cq:listeners nodes and REFRESH_SELF, REFRESH_PAGE, REFRESH_PARENT attributes also. But it is not working.I cross checked all the page component/template code with test site and framework code, but there is no clue.Could you please observe the below screen shots for more details, and suggest any solutionI thank

Turning on DM for a client who has an image component extending core image v3. Currently have in-place editing of image enabled via cq:inplaceEditing and components have a node imageCrop with crop information. When Enable DM Features is enabled for the component via template component policy, the cropped image is not rendered. Is this a known issue? Any known work arounds? Have searched for info online specific to this use case without success. Thanks.

Hi, I am using ootb carousel component and inserting my custom components as the carousel slides. I have two carousel slides in the carousel and  I have a requirement where I have to inject the third carousel slide from Adobe Target to the carousel component. I have added the third carousel slide to the component but I am not able to see the third slide when sliding through the carousel. I see some id attributes present on each each carousel item. So, does AEM not pickup the dynamic carousel item that is added? Please help. Thanks.

We're currently using unit tests with AEM Mock to test our models in our application. We've recently introduced a custom injector and custom annotations and this has been bogging down the tests significantly. Even in tests that don't do any work, merely injecting the custom injector adds a half second or more of startup time. Is there a way to improve the performance this? My understanding based on this question and the answer is that each custom injector is forced to interrogate every Inject annotation of every model registered in the system at startup. Is that understanding correct? It's possible that there's no way to speed this up, but I wanted to make sure we weren't missing something. If this is the case and each new AEM Context will simply have to apply the injector to every model with an Inject annotation, then I can't see a way to improve this outside of shunting these tests off to an Integration test suite or something like that. We were hoping there was an abi

Hi I have component specific client libs and I have given the categories cq.authoring.dialog. I have written few methods in js . But the same are getting applied for all dialogs present on the page. But that should be applied only for that particular dialog. Could you please let me know how to achieve. Please provide one example.

I am having an issue where a custom component called "metadata" is in a custom template, and shows up in the template editor, but does not appear in the page that is made with the template. Here is the template editor in AEM:"I EXIST" is there showing that the component is in fact in the template. Hi, I am trying to use web-optimized image delivery with my custom component's sling model, following documentation here and here. It makes use of the `AssetDelivery` service, which I was told to inject like either of these. com.adobe.cq.wcm.spi.AssetDelivery //... @3214626(cardinality = ReferenceCardinality.OPTIONAL) private volatile AssetDelivery assetDelivery; //... @OSGiService(injectionStrategy = InjectionStrategy.OPTIONAL) private AssetDelivery assetDelivery; But the problem is that `com.adobe.cq.wcm.spi.AssetDelivery` does not exist as a service per OSGi Manager Console, so the injected `assetDelivery` is always null. I am using the latest AEMaaCS locally. Could it be that this service is only available when the project is deployed to the cloud environment? Otherwise, how to make that service available on my localhost so the injection works? Thank you,

Hello, what happens is that I have a template that is for products and the information is brought from AiO, but what I want to do now is that in the template we want to implement a button that when clicked, create a pdf and download it. For it in the java model of the template I have created a method that contains the structure and design of the pdf using the library IText7, since, the pdf will be different to the design of the template. My question here is, how can I do so that in the frontend of the htl when I click on the download button I call the java backend to the method that creates the pdf and download it from the template model?
