Adobe Experience Manager Sites

I hope the collective experience on the community can help identify the root cause for something we are running in to. I have a customer who, for reasons that are not relevant here, has two production Marketo instances and for some of the webpages on their website forms need to be submitted to both instances. The chosen solution is to have the Marketo form from the first instance visible on the page and on success do an API submission to the second instance using the submit form endpoint: https://developers.marketo.com/rest-api/lead-database/leads/#submit_form From the test AEM environment (without any webserver and / or cloud machinery in front of it) both submissions work as expected, but on the live domain the API request seemingly is not reaching AEM from the dispatcher.   Has anyone seen this issue before?

Several assets share common users who are unable to extract downloaded ZIP files on Windows due to the restricted path length of 256 characters. By default, the asset download process wraps the assets inside a folder with the same title as the asset, effectively doubling the path length when extracting the ZIP file. The "flatStructure" hidden field value  determines whether to wrap the assets inside a folder with the title name or not. When "flatStructure" is set to false, it creates an additional folder hierarchy, whereas setting it to true prevents the creation of an additional folder. Therefore, it would be beneficial to have an option to control the "flatStructure" through the authoring dialog property, providing content authors with the choice to enable or disable it. Can I request the contributors to include this option in future releases?

I'm using AEM 6.5 and I'm working on a component that lists published child pages only. At first I used the page properties cq:lastReplicationAction   and  cq:lastReplicationAction to make sure I get only the published pages as needed. The component worked as needed in author instance. However, upon testing in publish instance, the component shows nothing. After some research, I discovered that the page properties I used are not carried over to publish by design. A workaround I found online was to manually disable the component com.day.cq.replication.impl.ReplicationPropertiesFilterFactory in author instance or to use the OSGi Component Disabler (OSGi Component Disabler (adobe-consulting-services.github.io) ). I'm hesitating with this workaround because we have multiple sites on the same AEM instance and that means the ReplicationPropertiesFilterFactory component will be disabled for all sites and I don't know the risks. After much thought and conside

I want to use ITextRenderer to generate a PDF so I have added maven depdency in parent POM and core module POM, Parent POM <dependency> <groupId>org.xhtmlrenderer</groupId> <artifactId>flying-saucer-pdf-itext5</artifactId> <version>9.0.1</version> </dependency>  Core POM <dependency> <groupId>org.xhtmlrenderer</groupId> <artifactId>flying-saucer-pdf-itext5</artifactId> </dependency> I am importing import org.xhtmlrenderer.pdf.ITextRenderer in java class. I dont see any error in compilation but after deployment in AEM, the core bundle is in "INSTALLED" state. when I check error it says "org.xhtmlrenderer.pdf -- Cannot be resolved"  Do I need to add any import package in order to resolve the dependency issue ? if yes where should i add ? Below is my  bnd-maven-plugin plugn in core POM,  <plugin> <groupId>biz.

Hi, I want to implement an autocorrect so that when the user uploads an asset in DAM, if it contains characters, it will remove them when the user clicks on upload.For example if the user uploads a file called green+apple.jpg and click on upload, the asset will now be called greenapple.jpg.I have been researching and modifying the files:fileupload.jsutil.jsBut I can't do it, the only thing I could do is to modify the dialog that shows the warning if it contains characters but I don't want that, I want to change the name of the asset eliminating the characters when it is going to be uploaded. 

Hi Community, I have a requirement where we want to track login and logout of author users in the AEM author instance , How can we do that ? I tried creating a sling filter where we can check for login and logout URL, for this i am targeting j_security_check as login URL and /system/sling/logout as logout URLI am able to get logout URL but not able to get login URL in sling filter Please Help me with this or suggest some ideas to track login activity for a user

I was doing some practises, and without knowing i modify the node of html5page in the lib folder, i tried to revert all changes but it seems that i wasn't at all success. A cowork of mine, export the json of that node, so i was wondering if i could reimport it in that folder? Is it possible to do that?thanks 

HI i am learning about AEM and doing some practices, but i am having some issues with following some steps as i do it as it says but the result is not the one expected.In this case i created a site in crxlite but when i truy to add the properties in the AEM "admin" it is totally blank, here is the example:  the node improntus is in the file /content/imrpontus and this is what i see when i try to access its properties:  can anyone guide me what could be the issue here?thanks

Hi All, When we are trying to integrate AEM with Adobe Commerce through CIF, we encountered the following error.  We are using AEMaaCS, Adobe Commerce enterprise edition 2.4.6-p1. Network tab : When we tried debugging it, we found out that the inbuilt plugin @61380/aem-core-cif-product-recs-extension is using this query.We referred https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-experience-manager/aem-venia-with-magento-integration-category-product-page-data-is/td-p/420370 and installed the module magento/module-data-services-graphql but no luck. It is also mentioned in the above document that we will not be getting this error on Adobe Commerce Enterprise edition. Hi Team, Please help me understand how do we get the x-aem-client-country and x-aem-client-continent headers in AEM publish instance. At present the headers are coming only in author and not in publish dispatcher. Hello, it appears that the Felix SCR annotations have been deprecated in AEM 6.3.  This is not reflected on the Sling website or documentation as far as I can tell, but is appearing that way when we compile against the 6.3 uberjar.In fact, the latest AEM Maven Archetype does not include the Felix SCR dependency at all.I see this blog post from last year that covers a lot of conversion questions.And this very recent one from Feike.The OSGi 6 method for registering configuration properties using a separate interface class is fairly convoluted, and thinly documented, but with enough time and money I am sure we can figure it out.However, there does not seem to be mention in either article of what is replacing the @SlingFilter annotation, which is mentioned as the recommended approach even in fairly recent articles.All our classes that use the @SlingFilter annotation no longer work (they are throwing ArrayIndexOutOfBounds exceptions), even keeping the Felix SCR dependency, and updating

I have a requirement like for a checkbox or toggle bar on the AEM page When a checkbox or toggle bar is true should call one search script that is present in the page component of the template when it is false It should call another search script that is also present in the page component of the template.What should be the correct way to call these scripts? Thanks.   

Hi Everyone, I am writing to ask a problem about component editConfig. I tried to set the REFRESH_PAGE in the editConfig of different components. The page can be refreshed after editing.  Problem: The page will become uneditable after auto refresh which is triggered by the component's afteredit event. I tried this setting in different components, all component has this problem. Does this is a system bug or how should I fix this problem? Some Notes:Although the page become uneditable, but all setting and page cookies are in Edit mode setting and parameter. After switching to Preview and back to Edit mode, everything becomes normal. Thank you very much.

Now the admin dont want to run scheduler for 3 times so he changed the expression to [0 0 23 ? * *] which is 11pm.So normally the scheduler will run only one time at 11pm.My Requirement:Even though the admin schedule to run the scheduler once or twice or 5 times etc, irrespective of the cron expression, the scheduler must run 3 times. How to do this?

I am trying to select the special characters from the RTE but when I select the special character the cursor is not moving forward because of which the next character is added in front of first character. In the below screenshot, first I have selected "£" next "—" and then "©".So it should show up as "£—©" but since the cursor is not moving it is displayed as "©—£".Below is the screenshot of the issue. Can someone please help me how to resolve the issue.

I wanted to ask about the expectation of nested components with LiveCopy/Blueprint configurations: I have a Blueprint (Parent) page that has a nested component structure like so: ------- Component 1 (Parent)-------------- Component 2 (Child 1)Then I have a Livecopy Child Page that inherits from Parent and initially looks the same: Then on Child Page (Livecopy of Blueprint):------- Component 1 (Parent)-------------- Component 2 (Child 1)Then on the child page, I break inheritance of Component 2, delete it and copy from another page a 3rd Component to replace it, so it looks like this on the Child Page:------- Component 1 (Parent)-------------- Placeholder Message for Child 2 that was Deleted-------------- Component 3 (Child 2)Now, I go back to the Parent page, and add a new component. Hope you are all fine.Could you please help with the following case: Goal: I need to make a couple of IMS users Administrators on non-prod author servers.Actions:as advised in official docs, in IMS admin console I created a group, for example 'Non-prod admins (IMS)' and assigned 'AEM Administrators-xxx' and 'AEM Users-xxx' products for a couple of non-production environments.Then I added users to my custom group ('Non-prod admins (IMS)').Result:users can access non-production environments (I believe thanks to group 'AEM Users-xxx'), BUT are not administrators there, although 'AEM Administrators-xxx' product was assigned to 'Non-prod admins (IMS)'  custom group.Further investigation:if I assign 'AEM Administrators-xxx' product directly to these users - they become administrators on respective environemnts. But it is not convenient to add individual products per each user.Question:should 'AEM Administrators-xxx' product be assigned only directly to users
