Hi Everyone, I would like to take some recommendations and best practices wrt AEM internal groups and LDAP groups mapping & permission management. We have AEM and LDAP groups setup in our project, both internal and LDAP groups are named identical. We are on AEM 6.5 and using ACL Netcentric to maintain the permissions. Below is one of the sample config we have with the yaml file. - aem-publishers-myapp-gb: - name: MyApp Publishers GB isMemberOf: aem-common-myapp path: myapp/gb externalId: "CN=aem-publishers-myapp-gb,OU=xxxx,OU=xxxx,OU=xxxx,OU=xxxx,DC=xxxx,DC=COM;XXXX" Is it recommended to both the internal and LDAP groups identical name?Are there any known limitation with this kind of setup?Would it be advised to have the unique names among AEM internal and LDAP?We are currently facing some issues when a LDAP group details got updated and then users either lost permissions or unable to login to AEM, where the log throws this group already exists in AEM.

Hi All, I have written one custom jQuery for my Customized Content Fragment. I'm using AEM 6.5. I'm using editable templates to configure the initial load of the list of mandatory components inside a form container in the page. But when I try to reorder the components once the page is loaded. I'm not able to drag or reorder between these components.Moreover, there are cq:editconfig and cq:actions which are updated in each of the components to allow the necessary actions.Still nothing seems to be working.Kindly help me out on the same. ThanksSHYAM SUNDAR TK

I had updated Java version from Java 8 to Java 11 and thereafter restarted the server (after making necessary changes to point it to Java 11). Everything is working fine, except for the crx which is not showing the nodes (the package manager works btw). It keeps on saying : Repository tree could not be loaded. If this is a production environment, CRX DE could be disabled for security reasons. If this is the case, you can choose to re-enable it by following the steps described here.I did check the configurations and it is set to /crx/server as per the following article : https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-65/administering/security/enabling-crxde-lite.html?lang=en Can someone please help me out with how to fix this issue? Note: Creating a fresh instance is the last thing I want to go with since there's a lot to re-do and client is using this instance actively.

Hi Team,I have some doubt, so I have content path (/content/my-project) under which I have to count the number of pages which uses a particular template. Under content path we have some sub sections like /content/my-project    - /content/my-project/images    - /content/my-project/propertyimages    - /content/my-project/siteimages  and each sub section contains thousands-millions of pages. We have an AEM service that needs to integrate with an azure keystore.  The Azure java libraries aren't OSGI packages and I haven't been able to get them to work wrapping them myself, likely because their dependency tree is just huge.  Anyone else been down this road before and can they offer any advice?

I am just trying to implement lemmatization for plural word search and implemented it via a Lucene custom token filter. However, AEM doesn't recognize the token filter which is part of the core bundle. Can someone help with an example of how to register a custom Lucene Token filter with AEM? 

We are using AEM - React as a SPA.The Rewrite Rules which are configured for URL shortening were not working with this AEM-React SPA.We have made some changes in HierarchyPageImpl class so that :path will be specific to the short URL. And the changes are working fine.But, we have a new use case where we a URL for which there will be different values for a query param. Hi Team, Is it possible to register a custom sling model with 2 or more selectors ? If yes, can please share how this can be achieved.  Can we use OSGI config to handle selector or resourceType to register a SlingModel ? UseCase :We have to export page content via custom Sling Model where in we can export complete page as JSON or specific component on that page as JSON as per selector used in the api endpoint. Eg : <API ENDPOINT>.<SELECTOR1>.<COMPONENTID>.<EXTENSION> Thank you in advance

Hi Guys, we have an existing website containing more than 2000 pages and we are looking as exposing the content as a service so that they can be consumed by an external mobile app. 1. I have tried looking at CaaS feature available OOTB in 6.4 but that requires us to create content fragments but we already have 2000 pages which needs to be exposed for a mobile app2. I've also looked at JSON Exporter which works with the suffic ".model.json". This gives some json data but its not really usable since it is more of a dump of the jcr structure and also misses some important page content like Text, Images etc.So apart from the above two options, do we have anything else that would fit the use case? We would just need our page content like text, images etc. to be exposed to be used by a 3rd party mobile application.

Hi Friends,I wrote a function to getProperty of an node and set its for an other node.Example: The property name: benefits , type: String[] , value: 1,2,5When I view properties of a page, select the benefits and click Save button. It will get the benefits values and set for an other page.The function as below work when I select only one benefits. Is there a proper way to control the workflow models? For example, let's say I have workflow model and I want to make sure its stored somewhere so that if something happens, an author doesn't have to recreate it. However, it also needs to be easy to make edits if needed, and the files in crx for workflows are extremely difficult to work with. I can think of a few options:1. Store all workflow model files in codeEverything is controlledMakes it difficult to make edits2. Create a content package and store the .zip in our repositoryEasy to make editsI have to remember to rebuild the package when an edit is madeWhat if another author makes an edit and doesn't tell me?3. Don't store it at allhave everything stored in AEMEdits are easyThe only way to restore lost models is by our content backup Is there a best practice for this? 

Hi Team, For serving video from dam, in our component we are using: <source src="${properties.myVideoURL @ context='unsafe'}" type="video/mp4">Page is taking much time to load the page, because of loading the video from DAM location.We are not using any video streaming service. So, wanted to check, whether AEM offers streaming service to serve video from DAM ?Thanks
