While I am removing quick publish for content fragment then manage publication is not working. And also we don't need delete permission for user group.We tried denying quick publish selection button and providing replicate access but manage publication or request for publication workflow is showing user doesn't have permission to start the workflow.As per analyses we found that if we allow delete then manage publication alone is working but not without it.@arunpatidar

Hi All - So i ran into weird issue today. We have an external saas provider jar file for which we created a bundle and installed it on our AEM server. We included this external saas provider jar file as dependency in our pom.xml and the code builds perfectly fine and our application jar file is deployed without any issues on server. When we execute our code on server, we were getting ClassNotFoundError for okhttp3/RequestBody which is expected by saas provider class. So we proceeded to create another bundle for okhttp3 and installed it on server. We checked OSGI Package dependency to ensure that required class which gave error before is found on the server. Even after creating and deploying okhttp3 bundle we are still getting same error when we execute our code.We tried one more approach to fix this issue, which was to add Import-Package in 3rd party saas jar to explicitly mention okhttp3 dependency but still could not resolve the issue.Here is rough diagram of dependency and issue whi

Hi Team I want to get dispatcher url so that I can perfrom url splitting and get titles. Currently when I try with below I am getting author /content urls even on publisher and dispatcher getting /content urls. getCurrentPage().getPath()this.getUrl() Is there any way to get the dispatcher url. Please advise Thanks and RegardsPrashanthi  

Dear Contributors, I read many online articles for binary less replication and what I extract from those articles are:  1. all your datastore will be hosted somewhere in external datastore; 2. this external datastore will used in your author and publisher instance as binary provider so you not need to host actual data on your AEM servers; 3. AEM publish instance will have only metadata for the assets. Now my question is can I treat Dynamic media(scene7) as external datasource for my publishers and how binary-less replication can be used here? if I can then what should I do reduce the load of assets from publisher instance as we are keeping fallback assets on publishers as well. My simple use-case is, have one author and 4 publisher instance configured with Dynamic media all the publishers are also having all the assets as fallback which is occupying lost of space on publisher's server, I don't want those data to  remain on publishers. We have recently started using smartcrops and when we publish an image we are able to see the smartcrop renditions in the dam asset file but on page it does not reflect immediately. I was able to see the renditions the next day though. Does it run by some scheduler? if so can we edit the scheduler timing and how?

We have a requirement to restrict file uploads in DAM by a maximum file size and white list of valid file types. I cannot find any Adobe documentation regarding this subject. Is there a configuration that can control these parameters? If not, what would need to be done to restrict DAM uploads by these parameters?

Hi Community,In one of the components. Input is a list of tag paths based on the tags input. All the articles that have this tag are pulled out and displayed as featured articles. CLIENT HAS SUDDENLY RELOCATED / renamed a few no.of tags in PROD Directly. Now, in the component the input she gave the location of the new tags. It pulls pages that were created post this tag renaming. But not the old pages, since the repository has already saved the old tag-id and when Lucene search looks into the pages with the new tag-id, it is not found and therefore old pages are not returned. She says the pages should know about the relocation and Lucene has to pick old pages too. I know we can write out a script to rename tag-id in the repository level either as a servlet or fiddle script. But is there any other way/tool to immediately do this in PROD Directly?

Hi All, We have implemented a footer component which internally adds other components like image(logo), text, navigation, copyright etc using data-sly-resource in footer.html file. This footer.html file also have wrapper divs for each of this component and we have applied css to wrapper divs to create a proper structure of the footer component. We have added this footer component into Footer experience fragment. But client wants an ability to add any text or embed component into footer inside this Footer experience fragment. I can add component into footer on top of existing image or text component using + symbol(add component)  but when I refresh this footer XF I cant see this these component. I think this is becoz footer.html is overwriting footer XF. I tried removing footer component from XF and added individual components but I dont know how to achieve that html structure for footer like wrapper divs and applying css to them.Does anyone have idea on how to

Hello,I have a list of pages that I am querying using xpath and ordering by jcr:title.How do I ignore accented characters?For example if I have a page with jcr:title = Études, it will show up at the bottom of the list instead of near the top. Thank you.

I think i've found a bug with AEM6.  I have a custom property on parent page named "clientName".  Inside of my component class which extends WCMUse, i'm trying to utilize getInheritedProperties().get("clientName", String.class) to return the client name, however, the value is never found and a null is returned.  If i do the same but with a standard property like "jcr:title", the correct value is returned.If i however use ${inheritedPageProperties.clientName} or the older WCMUtils.getInheritedProperty method - the value of "clientName" is correctly returned.Is this a known issue?
