I have inherited the OOTB carousel in one of my components and am trying to modify the look and feel of it. I am using OOTB carousels HTML inside my own component and it's backend model to fetch the data but want to write my own JS and CSS for it. I am using Glide JS for slides but having an issue as I have removed some classes of the OOTB carousel, which is causing an error in JS. So I want to stop the OOTB carousel's JS from executing. How do I do it ? I need an AEM query to get all the assets which are being used by pages in the path /content/mycompany/companycom/en/legal-contacts. I don't want to write code, I am looking to handle this via query itself.

We have been running into an issue where the publisher logs have a lot of invalidate cache request not related to the author page/assets publish. Hi Team, We are currently in the process of migrating our site into AEM. In the existing application we have a flow wherein stakeholders request edits to the content of the page and the authors would go in and make edits to the page as requested. This whole ticketing flow is integrated with ServiceNow where a series of tasks has been created for the workflow that goes from submitting a request -> Waiting for SME to approve -> Waiting on Dev -> Under Dev -> SME review -> Deploy -> Close/Reject all automated where the stakeholders requesting the change would be updated of the status and informing them to review changes before it goes live. Can we achieve this in AEM? If yes, what is the process or starting point to get this going? Does this all also mean all the stakeholders should have access to AEM to request these edits? or can that be isolated from the actual flow/ticketing system? Can all of this be achieved in AEM or do we still need to maintain int

I have one parent page News. This parent page have several nested pages. I am trying to get properties of all jcr:content node of nested pages. I am trying to hide Tab in dialog based on checkbox value.Able to hide and show on change event of checkbox value.But unable to hide it when we open dialog. To hide Tab, I am doing like below $(".coral3-Tab[aria-controls=' "+$("#customId").closest(".coral3-Panel").attr("id")+" ']").hide(); Tried with dialog-ready event, but getting undefined. Could someone please suggest on any other approach?Thanks in Advance.

Hi everyone!  Could anyone suggest anything please on how to sort out, the issue when running publish 4503 instance I get a browser window open with the message "Not found.  Cannot serve request to /content.html in org.apache.sling.servlets.get.DefaultGetServlet". I followed official docs using aem-sdk file for author and publish, renaming them accordingly as it asks. I tried even to change  4502 to 4503 in bin folder starter files for publish as someone suggested (official docs do not mention it). reinstalled aem-sdk a few times for author and publish and still get that message and the publish instance does not start. Just to mention, my author instance working fine and I tried to start publish instance after author one was ready. My docker running on port 80:80. Java v11 is installed.

Hi Folks,  I have a situation where I have multiple run mode based OSGi config files(for example), stored in Github repo.  Config.dev.author  - File 1  - File 2  - File3 Config.dev.publish  - File 4  - File 5  - File 6 Since these configs contains secrets, I cannot have that as a part of my package in Github. Is there a way I can remove these files from Github and organize it in a different way? ThanksTanmay  

Hi All, We have a requirement to trigger workflows for multiple AEM pages.The number of pages will be more than 1000 and based on some node operation we are triggering workflow. Question is: How to get the number of active workflow instance(Workflows currently running) How we can make the workflow triggering sleep if number of active workflows reaches a specific number and run after all completed. Any idea?

By default in request.log file will get request(method,protocal),response (status code,response time) and protocal details.If I  want to log same as request.log file in other custom log file(Ex:error.log). Is there any configuation I need to add ?

I was checking regarding webp feasibility and came across this doc that said core image(v3) supports smart imaging in AEM aa CS but not in local sdk or on-prem. So, I thought - since we already extended Image(v3) in our POC Image component. I could see this in action when we get it deployed. So, I was checking if adaptive Image is working fine here - so that it could fall back. And noticed that my srcset gives all the widths that I gave in the design dialog .  But my src is not being adaptive based on the device- The widths that gave are 128, 256, 512, 1024, 1280, 1440, 1920, 2058. But in desktop in takes 1920 & as I reduce the screen it takes 2048. It is not picking other widths from the srcset.  gives always the original rendition and has fixed width and height no matter what the screen size is.  I am not sure why is this happening. Could help me with what else should I check to make sure that it works fine. Since, i extending core component only

Hi,I am trying to solve a problem where I have a custom component with only textfield - with an in-place editing node and editorType is plaintext. When I include this component in another component and perform in-place editing, the authored value gets stored but resourceType for the component is missing in the content node. However, if I drag and drop this component separately it works fine. Please help me with how can I solve this by keeping editorType as plaintext. Note: When I change editorType to text or title, it works fine. It is only not working with the plaintext option and that is what I have to use.
