Adobe Experience Manager Sites

Hi everyone,I'm trying to set up the Apache Dispatcher locally for an AEM AMS (Adobe Managed Services) environment but want to leverage the AEM as a Cloud Service SDK to make local development and testing easier.However, I’m running into issues - I suspect the Cloud SDK may not be fully compatible with the AMS dispatcher setup, and manually configuring the dispatcher for AMS (eg. Apache configs, SSL, farms, etc.) is proving to be a tedious and time-consuming process.Is there any streamlined or recommended way to set up Dispatcher locally for AMS projects more efficiently?Any tools, scripts, or starter templates that can help speed this up would be appreciated!Thanks in advance.

Hi,We are experiencing a persistent double-slash (//) issue in our website URLs, which are also getting indexed by Google. An example of the problematic URL is -: https://mywebsite.com//content/site/en/learn/about-us/company-overview.html We have applied the following Rewrite Rules in our dispatcherRewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} ^(.*)//(.*)$RewriteRule ^ %1/%2 [R=301,L]RewriteRule ^/$ /content/site/en.html [R=301]RewriteRule ^/en(.*)$ /content/site/en$1 [R=301]RewriteRule ^/content/site/en$ /content/site/en.html [R=301,L] Additionally, we also tried the following alternative rules:-RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} ^//+RewriteRule ^(//+)(.*)$ /$2 [R=301,L] RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} ^//content/site/en(.*)$RewriteRule . /content/site/en$1 [R=301,L]  Despite these rules, we still see URLs with double slashes getting generated and indexed. Hi All, In our dispatcher configuration we have the below include for custom variables -Include conf.d/variables/custom.varsDefine BRAND_HTTP https://abc.comWe are defining a variable BRAND_HTTP which is set to abc.com. We are further using the same configuration to set the X-Frame-Options as seen belowHeader set X-Frame-Options "ALLOW-FROM ${BRAND_HTTP}"Now in the Cloud Manager, the environment variable BRAND_HTTP is pointing to xyz.comHowever, in the request URL we are only seeing the abc.com from the variables.@arunpatidar @estebanbustamante @aanchal-sikka @rohan_garg Shouldn't the environment variable configuration be getting precedence?We are already using environment variables to setup variables for ServerName and ServerAlias as seen below -ServerName ${PUBLISH_BRAND_HOSTNAME}

Hi Everyone I'm looking for some guidance on how to enhance our AEM Assets implementation. We have a large number of assets under the /content/dam/xxx path, and it's becoming challenging to track their expiry dates effectively. My goal is to implement a visual indicator—either a flag or an icon—on each asset within the AEM Assets interface that would dynamically appear when an asset's expiry date is within a certain threshold.Specifically, I want to achieve the following:When assets are loaded in /content/dam/xxx, the system should check each asset's expiry date (if one is set).If an asset's expiry date is within the next 5 days, a visual flag or icon should be displayed on the asset's thumbnail or metadata area in the AEM Assets interface.Ideally, the flag or icon would disappear once the asset is no longer within the 5-day expiry window.Any suggestions please Thanks in advance

I am not able to change html for embed component with has supertype of embed/v1/embed core component. I am able to change diaog , model , design dialog , but not able to change the html of the component. Please provide a solution why my html changes are not taking place. I am trying to change context from html to js for the component by modifying the HTL.

Hi All, Version: AEM 6.5 SP 19 On prem hosted on Amazon AWS ec2 serverJDK: 11.0.27OS: OEL 8.10 (recently migrated from CentOS 7)Issue: When an user is trying to upload images in DAM (generally jpg/png) it shows Upload failed. This happens randomly, after multiple retries it finally uploads the image. Image size also are not very big its in KB only. Analysis: We had gone through the error.log and workflow specific log during that time period and see no errors or exceptions logged in AEM author instance. Also one keynote is, this issue is being noticed only after recent OS migration. CPU utilization also is around 37% and never got any notifications for high memory or CPU during that time period. Can anyone help us on what could be the potential issue, or any pointers as to where we need to look for the Root cause?@arunpatidar @veenavikraman 

Hi, I am trying to use "merge" mode in filter.xml for acs common generic list. When I am adding a new entry, its not getting updated. <filter root="/etc/acs-commons/lists" mode="merge"/> Anyone has any context on this one?

Hi,  I am new to this AEM tech. Can you please help me with a few doubts I have?We are trying to setup the Adobe commerce new Edge Delivery Services storefront following the documentation from Adobe https://experienceleague.adobe.com/developer/commerce/storefront/get-started/ .I have a few questions:1. Why are we required to give google drive/SharePoint folder edit access to helix@adobe.com. What purpose does this adobe email serve. 2. Can the setup be done without giving the hosted folder access to this email ID?3. Our organization has certain policies regarding file sharing to external domains. If someone is unable to directly share the access to helix@adobe.com, what can be the workarounds?4. If ultimately nothing works out, can we raise a ticket with Adobe regarding this?

We have a requirement to implement a custom delete workflow to handle the deletion of multiple XFS and CFS instances. As part of this process, the workflow should generate a single, consolidated notification indicating whether each asset was either deleted or locked.Additionally, in cases where an asset is locked, we would like to explore the possibility of automatically re-triggering the workflow once the asset becomes unlocked.Has anyone implemented a similar solution, or are there any best practices you could share?

For tracking purposes, we're setting the following value for the "trackingfeature" attribute in our JSP file: vm.put("trackingFeature", "aem:pagepreview") However, on page load, we’re seeing a warning that DOMPurify is sanitizing the "trackingfeature" attribute—most likely due to the colon (:) in the value. Is there any way to fix this issue—either by allowing colons in this specific attribute or by excluding "trackingfeature" from being sanitized?

Hi everyone,We are building a multi-site architecture in AEM (eg for different brands or regions), and I am trying to determine the best practices for organizing editable templates.Each site has its own design system and slightly different requirements, but we also want to reuse components and reduce duplication.My question is:Should we create a separate editable template per site or try to use shared templates with conditional logic?How can we manage different policies (e.g., allowed components, styles) per site?What’s the recommended folder structure under /conf for clean separation and maintenance?Any guidance would be appreciated!Thanks!

I have created Content Fragment Model and its related GraphQL Query in my local AEM and synced with code base and deployed into AEM Servers (TEST & PROD), GraphQL Query working fine till TEST but not working in PROD. I am seeing some inconsistent like same code of Content Fragment Model & GraphQL Query working fine in one AEM environment but not working in another environment. AEM Version: 6.5.19Error Details: "Validation error of type FieldUndefined: Field 'name' in type 'UserModel' is undefined"

I understand that AEM Core Components are much more advanced than Foundation Components.Why do Foundation Components exist and when should we use these as opposed to Core Components? 2.Is it true that Components cover front end and Services the back end?Is the other way possible, like Components  for back end and Services for front end? Appreciate all replies. Thanks,RK.
