When uploading flv, wmv, mpeg and avi video formats in dam, it is getting successfully processed by scene7 but when trying to use scene7url for that video (https://domain/is/content/dev/sample) in browser it is getting downloaded instead of playing the video. Whether these formats are supported by scene7. If yes, please help with steps to be followed for these formats in scene7 to make it work.

Hi All,I have created a content fragment that includes two data types: a checkbox and a number field. I want to add custom behavior so that the number field is only visible when the checkbox is checked. I have created a client library under /apps/clientlibs with the category dam.cfm.authoring.contenteditor.v2. Hi Adobe Community,We’re using the default page exporter template in AEM to generate ZIP files. In one of our sites, the page has the cq:designPath property set, and the exported ZIP includes the /etc/designs folder — but does not include the /var folder, which results in missing clientlibs needed to render the page as a static HTML.Interestingly, in the same instance, another site that doesn’t use the cq:designPath property correctly exports the ZIP including the /var folder.We’re trying to understand:What’s the expected behavior when cq:designPath is used in a page?How can we ensure that the /var folder is also included in the export when using cq:designPath?Is there a way to explicitly define that in the export template nodes?Additionally, the official documentation (https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-65/content/sites/administering/contentmanagement/page-exporter) mentions as a troubleshooting step that /var/contentsync can be deleted and will regenerate.

Hi Team I have an issue when checkbox is unchecked the value is empty "" instead I would like to store it as false. When it is checked I am getting as "true" could you please advise me on the below 2 issues:1. When checkbox is not checked or unchecked I want value as false2. When checkbox is checked, i am getting "true" in json which is a string. Hi, In the page properties, we have a "View in Products" button that includes a trackingFeature attribute with the value aem:cifpage:preview. This setup works perfectly fine with the older AEM SDK.However, after switching to the new SDK, the trackingFeature value is no longer being set when using the same aem:cifpage:preview value. While debugging the core code, I noticed that if I remove the colons (e.g., use aemcifpagepreview instead), the value is set correctly and everything works as expected.This issue seems to be related to how the new SDK handles colon characters. Below is a reference to the file where this behavior is observed: /libs/commerce/gui/components/authoring/editor/pagepreview/pagepreview.jspAttached below is a screenshot showing the working state when using the value without colons. 

Hi Team, We are using Adobe I/O Eventing to trigger the download events and then fetching the events using Journaling API Endpoint, in the last pushing the events to third party applications. When we are fetching the events from Journaling queue, we are just getting at max 3 events in each get request.As per the document [1] stating "depending on the traffic of the events associated with your registration, the number of events returned in a single response batch varies: a batch of events contains at least one event (if you are not already at the end of the journal), but there is no pre-defined upper limit.", in each batch we want to fetch more events, we used 'limits' param but that too is not helping to get most of the events in one request.  Now my questions are : 1. Why Journaling batches just have 2-3 events at a time, I cant see full queue of events with Postman Get request. 2. How can I pull maximum events from journaling queue? 3. How this Journaling is working? 4

Hi, i want to trigger a workflow, which creates a new version of an asset when the user publishes the asset. to achieve this i created a model which has the following steps 1) flow start, 2) Activate Page/Asset, 3) create version 4) Flow end. and then i created a launcher to launch. it is working fine, but when the user modifies any metadata (we have custom or dam or dc) the launcher is triggered. we already have DAM Meta Data write back workflow that is triggered when the metadata is modified and this also creates a new version. so now when the user is modifying any metadata, both the workflows are triggered and 2 versions are created. any ideas as to how to restrict my workflow launcher to publish only??

Any tips on getting selected to the Experience Manager?

Hello all,I have an OOTB workflow set up to launched via an Workflow Launcher when a page is published using Quick Publish.However, the launcher is triggering whether I synchronize a page using our LiveCopy configuration as well as when a page is published. Is there a way to exclude the synchronization and only have the Launcher triggered when a page is published using Quick Publish? The workflow is meant to send a notification to management when a page is published.  

We are trying to accomplish a simple use case of uploading an asset and settings its metadata to AEM Cloud via REST API from an external system. We have been able to upload the asset using the new Cloud Upload API successfully. Now, I am looking for an HTTP route to call from an external system into AEM that will allow me to update metadata on the newly uploaded asset. The Assets HTTP API lists an update metadata of an asset endpoint here:https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-cloud-service/content/assets/admin/mac-api-assets.html?lang=en#update-asset-metadataThe problem with this is it seems to update metadata only in the jcr namespace, however, we need to update metadata in the dc namespace as well (otherwise, the metadata values do not show up in the AEM UI).  From what we understand there may be two approaches to solving this:1) Using a workflow to sync values from the jcr namespace into the dc namespace that triggers when we set metadata from the

Good morning, I was just wondering if there's a way to create a link inside a label under 'URL' where i could go fetch the value of a global variable (Inside form properties->variables) the link is like this one:https://myWebsite/tools/info-forms?keys=&field_form_number_value=1612&field_category_tid=Alland the bold number, is where i would like to add that global variable value. Can it be done at all? maybe using a different method as well? Patrick

Hey Team, I've read in the documentation that Push Invalidation (a crucial piece of the content pipeline), is not available for the Adobe Managed CDN and only for BYOCDN's like Cloudflare, Fastly, Akamai, and CloudFront.  If this is the case, how then would i enable or manage push invalidation or auto-content purging for published content on the production site post-golive? Since we are using the Adobe CDN.  On other notes, I've read that the Adobe CDN is actually Fastly based so Push invalidation could work? Please clarify this as the docs don't support that point outright. Thanks

Hi, We are successfully doing OIDC integration with Azure on our AEM publisher instances.In our current SAML setup, we use a high-wire load balancing mechanism with sticky sessions so that all requests for a user’s session are routed to the same publisher. This avoids re-authentication issues. However, when we disable sticky sessions so that requests can go to different publisher instances, the user session isn’t available across all nodes and the user is prompted to log in on each request. To handle this scenario, we enabled “Encapsulated Token,” which is meant to support stateless session management across publishers. Unfortunately, upon enabling Encapsulated Token in our OIDC codebase, the user’s .token node is not being created, and the integration fails. Any suggestions or idea.  

We currently run AEM under Java 1.8 but are developing a new codebase using an archetype requiring Java 11 to build the project. Our other site codebases are built (and run in AEM) using Java 1.8.Our new code base is built using Java 11 but I believe uses a config that targets Java 1.8, so as to be compatible with AEM running under Java 1.8.Is it possible to run AEM 6.5 under Java 1.8 and run code built with Java 11, alongside other site code built using Java 1.8?Is it possible to run AEM 6.5 under Java 1.8 and then switch to running it under Java 11?  Thanks for any info.
