Hi All, We are working on a migration project in AEM and not leveraging the Content Transfer Tool for migrating content from AMS to AEM Cloud. As the volume of the content is manageable, we are going through the packages while implementing a content freeze. However, in AMS our authoring team makes use of launches to develop content for future release.What is the way to go for migrating these launches to AEM Cloud? Regards,Nagesh

I have a similar issue to this one just slightly different. We have a custom Authentication Handler that implements AuthenticationHandler.  In the extractCredentials method, the first thing that happens is a check for an existing login-token.  If it exists, the method returns null to bypass the rest of the authentication code.The issue we are running into is when the login-token exists but is no longer valid, the user receives a 403 error.How can we check for existing AND VALID login-token?Also where can I see the OOTB SamlAuthenticationHandler code?  It sounds like there may be a working example of this case in that code.

Where selecting a dropdown value doesn't update as expected. This problem has been reported by other users as well. Specifically, when attempting to choose an option from the dropdown, the selection remains on the initial value and doesn't reflect the user's choice. How to resolve the issue mentioned in below screenshot?? 

My AEM instance which was running on 4502 port with this file name (cq-quickstart-author-p4502.jar). So, it had the "author" run mode which is expected. But, for testing, now I want to change the run mode to [publish, foo]. So, I am using the below command. java -Xmx512m -jar cq-quickstart-p4502.jar -Dsling.run.modes=publish,fooWhen I access http://localhost:4502/system/console/status-slingsettings​, I am seeing run mode as [author, foo], but not [publish, foo]. Can anybody please let me know how to fix this?

Hi Team, I need help invoking my custom JS to ACS Commons System Notification.{I am using AEM SP21, ACS Commons 6.0.8} Currently, I am facing an issue with System Notifications. After running an accessibility scan, we found some tables on our site that do not have header tags since they are display-only and are not conveying data. I am trying to upgrade core.wcm.components package from 2.7.0 to 2.23.4.For some reason, the core tabs component does not show up the components that are configured inside it.When looking at the model JSON, the structure seems to have changed a bit. Hi Team, I have created one report to list out the content fragment based on some criteria using sql2 query everything is fine except one, as soon as I open the report it runs automatically without asking about required user input. Hello,I am facing an issue with the Rich Text Editor (RTE) inside AEM Content Fragment Models (CFM). When copying and pasting text within the RTE, the cursor remains in the correct position, but the page scrolls to the beginning of the RTE instead of maintaining the current scroll position. This disrupts the user experience, requiring manual scrolling back to the editing area after each paste action.Has anyone else encountered this behavior? Is there a known fix or workaround to prevent the unwanted scrolling?Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks!

Hi Team,We're currently using a Sling Model for an existing component and are attempting to create an identical component under a different name. Although the JSON data from the Sling Model is being printed(tried with add extra log) correctly according to the code logic, accessing the JSON data through the URL jcr:content/root/container/container/container_copy_copy_/column1_copy/container_2045280733/component-name.list.json results in a 400 Bad Request error. Could you please advise on how to resolve this issue? Thanks

What happened to it ? Hi All,we have a set of publishers for different regions like region A, B, C, D. One of the page within the card carousel component is missing in region A publisher, but is displayed fine in other regions publishers like B C D.tried comparing the data of the page which is not visible with the page in working publishers and figured out a missing date property which is renamed with @named annotation as originalPublishedDate in the model.On providing the published value missing page appears back and republish of page too works fine by fetching the current published date.I tried to resolve in above mentioned way but the issue keeps resuming only in one publisher making us to figure out root cause. my assumption was the page might have been installed directly on to publisher A via package without publishing via author and i tried the same scenario by creating a new page but the new page appeared on card carousel component as i installed the package. w/o any publishing done from author

Recently we have come across a requirement to migrate an application from AEM6.3/6.4 to AEMaaCS.Existing application has heavy customization done to the site's navigation. Three levels of navigation from sites interface. Let's sayLevel 1 > Tools,Level 2 > Tool1 till Tool 6Level 3 > each tool has different set of functionalities It is safe to assume that the dashboard has 15+ functionalities and few of the functionalities depend on the other functionalities.  We are seeing two options 1. Replicate the dashboard in AEMaaCS and keep track of the dashboard in the subsequent updates2. Create utility pages and port the dashboard functionality instead of customizing the dashboard.  Is it recommended to port the same dashboard from old AEM to AEMaaCS author instance? Is it even recommended to do so given the automatic feature and maintenance updates in lower environments in the AEMaaCS.

Hello, We have created a new datatype for the content fragment, as we need to overwrite certain fields in the universal Editor. We have generated a custom data type, and in AEM with the old editor, it works correctly, we have tested with a colorPicker and with a normal text field. (this example is a texfield to contribute a hexadecimal code color, not exactly a color picker)  The problem comes when we try to visualize those fields with the custom datatype in the new editor and with universal editor:1. new editor : It does not recognize the field and shows the following message. Field/type colorPicker/text-color is not implemented yet.  2. Universal editor. The custom datatype field does not appear.  Is it possible that custom datatypes cannot be generated for use with this? Hi, We are on AEM 6.5.The use case is to use AD groups to target content. The content can be in any path and can be targeted to a number of groups. when the members of that group login to the site they are able to see the content targeted for them. There are around 500+ AD groups. The application is using SAML based login. How to sync the AD groups to AEM? Any example on the targeting of content based on AD groups.
