Adobe Journey Optimizer

Hi, I am using it:{%= addMonths(profile._deloittellpcanada.abnMemberDetails.tsExpect_date, 1) %}simply want to add 1 month to tsExpect_date but action failed because of it. the expect_date format is as 2024-12-04T00:00:00Z.  can you help me out to troubleshoot it? Thank you.

This can be sourced from the Preference Details field group.     Timezone attribute would hold a string value. Make sure to add the correct timezone value to the profiles.   Audience creation Use filters to identify profiles whose birthdays fall within a one-day timeframe. This ensures the journey targets the correct audience each day.    

Hi,  I am trying to create a content template in AJO using Postman API following this documentation. When I run the POST request in Postman, I get the following response -   The response suggests that the 'sandboxId' is missing as one of the header parameters. However, I wasn't able to find references on where I can retrieve the 'sandboxId' from, to be able to run this POST request successfully. - Has anybody faced this issue previously? - How were you able to retrieve the sandboxId to be able to run this request successfully?- Any other changes that I should incorporate to the request based on the error response? Thanks!Shashank

Basic question, but I assume Frequency Rules in AJO are applied at a profile level as this is the general way everything is viewed, but wanted to confirm.  I'm looking to cap contacts to per email address and didn't know if this was possible this way.

When you f ex open a Journey report in AJO you have a button that points to CJA - for deeper analysis (it we have understood this correct) My organization has several questions connected to this feature. Se attached picture1. When you click on this button, when it is enabled, what happens. Does it only open the CJA application as a short cup to start the app, or does it actually open a view to dive deeper into the data regarding the Journey you opened the app from - what ca we expect to happen when we use this button.2. How can be enable this. We have license for both products but somehow they are not connected so the button is not enabled. How do we proceed to enable it. 3. When looking av reports in AJO and then moving into CJA - do they use the exact data source. I expect to see the same data in CJA as in AJO but, maybe dipper reports and more advanced reports in CJA - but still the same data source - or is it collecting data from different sources?

Hi This is a general question relating to Schemas, but it came up when I was working on AJO, so hope it's OK to post hereHere are some steps to reproduce:Create a new ExperienceEvent Schemaclick on the Field Groups Add buttonIn the “Add field groups” dialog search for “Adobe Analytics”In the results there is “Adobe Analytics ExperienceEvent Template” – click on the magnifying glass icon to preview that Field Group5. Expand any of the numbered event paths such as _experience.analytics.event101to200.event103Note that the “Required” field is not checked for any of those event fields in the preview. You can check other fields as well – you will be unlikely to find any field that is required. I'm using the event fields as an example here, but the same situation is happening with most/all of the fields in this Field Group 6. close the preview and add “Adobe Analytics ExperienceEvent Template” to the Schema Result: there are a huge list of required fields – the event

Is it possible to send email based on the journey if the profile of the journey is ECID? Or if we want to make event based journey we must add email as an attribute and based on that journey? I noticed that if I do not pass email as a parameter in event emails are not send even though ECID matches with profile which already has an email.

Hello everyone, According to the documentation, it is mentioned that IP Pools can be created separately for Marketing and Transactional messages to avoid issues like spam or others. However, I would like to confirm if it is also recommended to create separate IP Pools for each sandbox. https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/journey-optimizer/using/configuration/delegate-subdomains/ip-pools Are there any best practices or specific recommendations regarding the separation of IP Pools by sandbox, especially in environments managing multiple configurations and types of deliveries? I appreciate your guidance in advance.Best regards.Diego P.

I have had a few marketers raise questions about the New reporting tool. When measuring email click-through rates (CTR) in the industry, the standard practice is to use "unique clicks,"  meaning each recipient is only counted once even if they click multiple times on the same link within the email; this provides a more accurate representation of engagement with an email campaign. This raises a few questions, and I was wondering if there are documented answers/rational from Adobe:In AJO, the CTR indicates to be Total Clicks / Total Delivered, instead of using unique click / unique delivered. Is there a documented reason/rationale why Adobe uses total clicksSimilar issues with CTOR. In our instance, Delivered appears to be lower than Unique Delivered.  How is this possibleWhere is there a clear breakdown that can be shared with marketing teams? Need to get answer for marketing teams.

We have an onboarding journey with multiple email steps. A series of 6 emails are sent after some delay times between them which we have set up already.We also want to include one more email that can be sent anytime they receive their offers during this onboarding phase. For that we made an audience to check if they have offers.But we want to make sure this email is sent only once(as a user can reach this step multiple times) and write a condition such that if they have already received this email dont send to them. Is there a way in the journey we can add a step that can achieve the above?Or please let us know if you have any better approaches to do it.

Hi There, I am having an issue that I kicked off one test email to send with one profile, but its action failed saying by the 24 hours reportError reasonErrorsNo email address found in profile1 That's strange because it's populated by looking via profile option with specific namespace and ID. My thought is if emailaddress field was created by my tenantID in schema is properly connecting to email campaign.  please advise.

I have a use case where the Primary Identity Namespace is a unique ID representing a customer's account. However a customer can have multiple accounts, all with the same email address associated to them, and as a result there are multiple profiles with the same email account. When a customer opts out of a subscription, or unsubscribes entirely, how can I update that new status for all profiles with that email address? If I identify the email field as an identity would that carry the updates across while still maintaining the unique profiles for each customer's unique account ID?

Hello, I would like to show a banner for a client's birthday.So for example, I would like to show a banner in the app of my company to a client which birthdate is 31/01 (we don't have the year of the birthday but we don't care about the year).And he needs to see the banner until 02/02 23h59.So during 3 days. Do you know how to do that in an audience or in a journey ? Is it possible to use the same IP addresses across two email platforms. We would like to test Email Delivery in AJO while still using SFMC. Looking for a way to avoid IP Warming. We already have a custom action sending email send trigger to SFMC.
