Adobe Journey Optimizer

Hi, We have a custom action in AJO which will send API calls to an endpoint and get payload data for campaigns. However, I checked this document (https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/journey-optimizer/using/configuration/configure-journeys/action-journeys/action-response.html?lang=en) which says one API call per profile even if the response always the same. So if an audience is 50,000 large, it will send 50,000 API calls. So my question is whether there is a way to optimize the number of API calls? Or cache the payload in AJO? Or start a journey at midnight? Any solutions to reduce the number of API calls? Thanks

Hi We have a specific use case where a journey needs to occur on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday exclusively. However, the journey should not take place on Tuesday and Thursday. Is there a method to achieve this within the context of journey planning? If so, please provide the necessary steps to accomplish this task.

Hi Team, I need to create a journey where need to exclude audience who have received the communication already. Can someone help on approach please? In ACC we normally take it from broadlog and exclude using exclusion, but not sure of AJO. RegardsA

Apologies if this is an obvious question, I'm new to AJO and it seems to lack a lot of basic functionality I'd expect from an email platform. Hopefully it's just me... We have sent our first email out of AJO, in the reporting there are some basic metrics but I can't see an obvious way to tell who has actually opened or even received the email. How do I get a breakdown of the actual contacts and what they did with the email?

Hi everyone, I need to create end to end automating journeys like we create recurring campaigns in Adobe campaign (loading data from schema and sending campaigns to new customer daily) Here in AJO, we have to use batch audience and will reach that batch audience to target to new customers daily by Journey. Can someone please help me understand how we will be setting up flow and how it it work logically? (In ACC, we know we can make workflow like use Query -> Split -> recurring email delivery) RegardsAbhishek

Hi there, We have both android and ios setup using the same Push Surface. However, android and ios each have different platform id. Below is what it looks like by default when we select the app surface and the default platform id (which defaults to ios platform id)As you can see there, there is no quotation marks around the id. I tried using the override button, manually input the platform id in the expression editor so we can send to android devices (see the difference in platform id), but I am getting an error like below: Is there a specific way to use this override parameter button?  Thanks.  

Hello Everyone, We are facing issues in editing our prebuild HTML templates in AJO. We checked and found that same has not been coded as per best practices and hTML CSS inline CSS styling. Can someone has any documentation mentioning best practices HTML developer need to follow while coding a template which needs to use directly in email designer? Regards

Hi USECASE:We aim to develop an interactive form within an AJO email template to capture individuals' email IDs. Approach 1:Initially, we constructed a landing page utilizing built-in features to generate an interactive form. This form includes a subscription list. Subsequently, we incorporated this landing page into the AJO email template. However, upon attempting to submit the form details from the landing page, we encountered an issue. We're unable to retrieve the data in Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), and it's unclear where this data is being directed. When checking the submission status of the form, we observed a "204 No Content" status code. I do not have access to add tags to completed campaigns. I am wondering if this is a permissions issue or just incapable in AJO. If it is an option and I am missing access, where does that access live?If it's not available to anyone, would love that enhancement feature.

Are AJO Email Content Templates preconfigured with responsive code to ensure proper display across different devices? Or do we need to implement responsive design ourselves at the component level when transitioning from desktop to mobile mode, as currently, the page breaks entirely?

I get this error when I try to access Lookup schema fields in Condition activity of a journey:"message":"The provided merge policy is not found or not available for lookup. Provide a valid merge policy or try again after some time.","statusCode":422.I have created a custom XDM class for Lookup Schema and have linked it to an XDM Experience Event Schema.Able to access the lookup fields during Event configuration but the above error comes up when trying to run in Test mode.

I have a bit of an urgent ask so any quick responses would be appreciated. I want to find the difference between the current date and another date in the email template and render content based on the value of the difference (i.e. let's say the date today is 02/12/2024 and the date attribute of another field is 02/08/2024. I'd then like to find the difference between these two dates which will be 4 and render content based on that)  I know this can be done within the AJO conditions but how can I do this within the emails?

Hi there, We are using customAction to send signals to our 3rd party platform to send emails and SMS. I know there is the Rules - Message Frequency OOTB feature in AJO, but can that be applied to emails sent from custom Actions as well? If not, can someone suggest a workaround that we can use this? For example, maybe I can create a subsequent action after the customAction - send email and feedback to an AJO dataset to however AJO would interpret and an email was sent out using the OOTB feature? Thanks.

Hello, We are looking to transmit tracking information from various channels, such as emails, push notifications, SMS, and others, to an external third-party endpoint. Currently, any tracking data generated is stored within the Message Tracking system dataset in Adobe Experience Platform (AEP). However, we face a challenge as there is no direct method to stream this data from the dataset to the desired endpoint.We considered using Unitary Events, but I've recently learned that these events do not get triggered when data is ingested into a system-generated dataset. Another potential solution is to export the dataset from AEP, but this approach does not suit our needs because we require the data to be transmitted in real-time or near real-time.We also looked into email reactions as an option, but found it to be limited to use within journeys only, not campaigns. Our goal is to implement this logic across both campaigns and journeys.Could you please advise on any alternative solution

Hi Team, Is there a way to pass custom field value (part of event schema) to AJO OOTB (Message feedback and Email Tracking) datasets For ex: Touchpoint ID is an attribute on event schema and can have multiple values for a profile, we want to somehow get this Touchpoint ID to AJO OOTB datasets(Message feedback and Email Tracking) so that we know which event is tagged to which touchpoint ID.if it is possiible plz let us know how?@mohan_dugganab @satheeskannak @akshaaga 

I am working with a client on who recently implemented push notifications from Adobe Campaign Standard into their Android & IOS mobile apps,  using the mobile SDK, and they have launch (aka Data Collection) in the apps.  I know there needs to be additional configuration in Launch for AJO.  But I want to confirm if I would need to change any configuration within my mobile apps (Android & IOS) for AJO since it is already set up for Push in ACS?

Hi, is there a way via condition or any other activity to avoid contact same profile in a journey twice? I know the "Allow re-entrance" option but it does not help to my use case. I'd like to add like a condition before email checking profile have not been contacted by that email. Thanks.
