Adobe Target

Can someone point me to a side by side comparison (pros and cons) of the old mbox vs the at.js?  I need to make an informed decision as to what type to use. Our organization just upgraded to AEM 6.2 and from what I can tell the new at.js is not compatible, is this true? If it's not true, can you point me to some literature so that I can inform my executives and make the case for the Adobe Target upgrade?  Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have installed Adobe target V2 extension with at.js version 2.2.0 in adobe launch .I also have written rule in adobe launch and did “load target” and “fire global mbox” .A4T configuration is done and working fine .I have also created an A/B test activity .However when I load the page(where launch code is present) , I am not able to find any beacon in network tab when I filter it with “mbox” and also in adobe debugger I am not able to find global MBOX name, i could only see the at.js version in summary tab of debugger under adobe target libraries.Please let me know how to instantiate Global MBOX or how to debug MBOX.

Hi Team, This might be a basic question but I am not getting clarity about the visits in Adobe Target. PCID is the target Visitor Id which decides the unique visitor.Just wanted to check how a visit is calculated in target ?

I am trying to run Target Traces using the Adobe Experience Cloud Debugger like I've done hundreds of times before as of yesterday I get an error saying No Experience Cloud tab found even though i have Target running on another tab. Is anyone else experiencing this? Is there a fix? I'm using Chrome version 79.0.3945.117

Hello We want to show a banner based on user input on payment page. when user starts to type bank number , we need to understand which bank that belongs to and show a banner in payment page. is it possible create such a dynamic audience based on user input ?

Hi Guys,I hope you are all well?  I am quite new to Target so be gentle.  We have deployed Target through Launch, I am trying to load a web site into the VEC to create an A/B test, I input the URL all seems to go fine, I get the loading screen then nothing, just a blank page it looks like Target thinks the page has loaded?  below is what I have tried so far:I have used Requestly to change the response headers this makes no difference.Allowed loading of mixed content again no difference. Any advice?

Hi All,            To utilize the VEC – View Name .We configured as per below setup.As now we have two rules added to the launch,Current setup:Rule 1 : Created a rule to Load Target in page. I use Library Load (page top) event. In actions Load Target , and Fire Page Load Request actions,Rule 2 : Created a rule to get the view name using custom event, we use the technique of dispatching Custom Event on top of the view, which would trigger a Target call. This event is fired directly from application code.Then inside the Launch ,I  set up custom event listeners which, when triggered, would fire a Target call.Under Action – Add params to page load & Trigger view.For Recommendations parameters for the SPA using Adobe Target V2 ext – Any specific documentation is available.I can see the delivery call for each page.In the add param’s I added the entity.id parameter  which will fetch the Id value from the Data element which will be populate

We are in process to migrate Target V1 to Target V2. While working with activities which are using parameter which are having values stored in arrays. For example, Sub Categories. We are getting 400 bad request error in network. It works fine with TargetV1. We also tried to see if we can get the value as data element and pass it with launch rule to fire parameter. (Example. digital.page.<variableName>[0]. - this prints value  on console log but that comes blank in actual target request.) Can some helps us to read and use values which are stored as Array in data elements.

Hi Team, I have an issue with the Target loading. I've been reading up on at.js 2, and one of the big selling points looks to be it can load all of your activities for your SPA flow at once and cache them local, rather than requiring a round trip to the server for each new view.Nice feature.I do have a question though:  Say you are capturing data in Analytics that forwards over to AAM.  You have a segment defined in AAM that your user qualifies for on View X of your SPA, and you use that audience for an XT activity on View X+2.  Will the user get the expected personalization on that view?One of the pitch points when I was first looking at AAM was that data captured on a page is available for personalization on the next page.  Before I recommend my client move to at.js 2, I want to understand how it might affect this scenario.Thanks in advance!Jim

Hi,While I understand that Target premium has the recommendation option based on customer behavioural data and through custom feed, I'm interested to know if there are any valid implementation of Adobe Target along side a recommendation engine like Pega Customer decision Hub. Since we have Pega for a while now and is used as NBA engine for giving best proposition for known customer across the customer touchpoints, would like to understand how it can be integrated with Target to get best of both worlds. Any sample implementation apporach that brings these two together and a view on how these systems will interact for real time recommendation will help. Thanks

I'm currently working with two sites under the same domain and I'm unable to access visitor profile information from 1 of them.  Scenario: User visits site A and performs a series of activities. This triggers an event that triggers a rule in Launch. Essentially, user.accountType is set to something like consumer or business. I'm then using Target to access this visitor profile data and create an audience and experience test for it. I'm able to navigate away from the site or close the site and I'm still able to access this information on site A.  However, on site B, the value of user.accountType is empty. Target attempts to apply the experience and I just get an empty ("") value.  I've confirmed that my visitor IDs are the same across both sites. Both sites belong to the same domain and are configured in Target. Is there something I am missing?

  Hello, I am trying to do a A/B Test, it has to be form-based. Our web page is build on SPA.  I login, then go to the specific page I want to see my code and the problem is that our code is not being injected there. I'm trying to access the value of an eVar in Adobe Target. Is there a way to do this? I am currently capturing information on the site and passing those into analytics and audience manager. I'm then using these values to qualify for particular audiences. I'd like to switch between audiences. I've determined this isn't possible and you are in an audience until it expires. What I'd like to try is to use the last value of the eVar and access that in Target and inject that into an experience test. Is that possible?
