Large companies want more control over their Proofing Workflow Stages. They want to use automation to dynamically add stages and make assignments. However, they can't do this because WF creates new proofs as Simple proofs. There's no way in the API to convert a Simple proof to an Automated proof without causing problems. The "New Proof" page in WF helps, but there's still a gap with the "Generate Proof" button next to documents. Please provide a way to do this. Ideas include: 1) Provide option to create automated proofs by default, instead of simple proofs. 2) Make Document Versions editable via the API. This would allow integrations to convert existing proofs to Automated Proofs using the ProofHQ API then add then update the ProofID on the document version. 3) Add an "isAutomatedProof" flag to the /createProof action. 4) Add a drop-down to the "Generate Proof" button with the options: Simple or Automated.
In the project list view, it would be very useful for user's management purpose to know which projects are shared with whom and what type of access they have. On the "shared with" column, please add what type of access those users have. At a high level, we are not able to tell if users can edit the original report, copy it or just view it. At the moment, we have to open each project and check one by one. This is time consuming. Best regards.Hakim.
Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: Moving an asset to a folder where an asset with the same name already exists creates a duplicate asset without asking if duplicate assets are wanted. It should not be assumed that users want duplicate assets in a folder. The system should prompt the user to make the same selections upon a move that it does upon an upload. The options are: "NAME CONFLICT An asset named ex.1234567.pdf already exists in this location. Click Create Version to create the version of the asset or Replace to replace the asset or Keep Both to keep both assets." Use-case: The use case is duplication of unwanted assets and asset governance. Current/Experienced Behavior: Moving an asset to a folder where an asset with the same name already exists creates a duplicate asset without asking if duplicate assets are wanted Improved/Expected Behavior: The system should prompt the user to make the same selections upon a move that it does upon an upload. Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: A tool that will show all the asset statuses under a particular path. The status will contain some important information like (Reference count, Publish status, Created By, and so on) Use-case: At the time of authoring, the Authors uploaded a lot of DAM assets and referenced them on the AEM page. But sometimes many assets are unused or some pages are deleted after a certain time. But by this time assets are not deleted since this is a time-consuming task. Authors cannot see all the unused assets at a time and are not able to delete them so easily. Current/Experienced Behavior: There is no UI for to see all the Asset statuses under a certain path and bulk delete from that UI. Improved/Expected Behavior: A tool under the asset tool section will help Authors to make clean DAM easily. Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: Possibility to configure per DAM folder/location which user groups are allowed to upload which asset types Use-case: Restrict authors from uploading unwanted asset types in unwated locations, while keeping super users (or e.g. admins) the full/unrestricted access. Current/Experienced Behavior: Possibility to limit allowed asset types globally for all users Improved/Expected Behavior: Possibility to confiure the allowed asset types per DAM folder for specific user groups Environment Details (AEM version/service pack, any other specifics if applicable): AEMaaCS Customer-name/Organization name: Hitachi Energy
Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: AEM users should be able to filter licensed assets from Adobe stock, given that these assets are not saved in AEM Use-case: AEM users should be able to filter licensed assets from Adobe stock, given that these assets are not saved in AEM Current/Experienced Behavior: AEM user can save assets from Adobe stock to AEM asset, then user can search licensed assets from already saved Adobe stock assets in AEM. User can't filter only licensed assets from Adobe stock search in AEM when Adobe stock assets are not saved in AEM. Assets need to be saved in AEM to do the same. If we connect AEM with Adobe stock and there are many licensed assets in Adobe stock, there is no way to filter all licensed assets from Adobe stock search. Improved/Expected Behavior: AEM user can filter licensed assets from Adobe stock in AEM and save them in AEM Environment Details (AEM version/service pack, any other specifics if applicable): NA Customer-name/Organization name: NA Screenshot (if applicable): Code package (if applicable):
Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: The ability to sort the destination folders alphabetically when moving assets Use-case: We currently have hundreds of client folders in our AEM, being able to sort the list of available folders when moving assets would save us a lot of time. Current/Experienced Behavior: Currently, there is no way to sort the list of folders in the Select Destination step when moving assets. It requires our team to scroll through our entire list of client folders when needing to move assets. The folders also do not populate automatically by alpha Improved/Expected Behavior: We would love to be able to sort the available folders by alphabet at the select destination step to eliminate the need to scroll through a list that seems to be haphazardly sorted. When in the Tasks tab and your assigning a task to someone, if that user has PTO recorded in Workfront during the timeframe of that task, the only thing that displays is a yellow triangle next to the persons name that you have to hover your cursor over to read the message that the user is away during that timeframe. Can there be a pop-up instead as no one will read this message?
Hi Team,Presently, all the reports in Analytics/Workspace by default show 'sum total' of row items. It would be great if user has an option to change the default 'sum total' to different arithmetic calculations like average, weighted average etc. for all the metrics (custom, calculated and standard). At present if we want to see average, we may have to create a calculated metrics.Thank you!
#chatgpt3 #adobeexperiencemanager #chatbot #aichatbots Video Demo : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1bvuI03FlXSXdUY1gncI3u1uFZR22_Uz_/view?usp=sharing As ChatGPT continues to be a buzz word around the internet, an idea intrigued me in how ChatGPT's potential can be leveraged in Adobe Experience Manager Sites. ChatGPT can be integrated into AEM in several ways to enhance the user experience and improve the performance in below areas like 1. Content personalization 2. Image and video optimization 3. Insights and analytics 4. AI Chatbots The integration of ChatGPT with Adobe Experience Manager as a Chatbot for websites offers a new level of customer service and engagement. With ChatGPT's cutting-edge natural language processing capabilities, users can receive quick and accurate responses to their inquiries through an intuitive chat interface. This integration enables businesses to provide a personalized and interactive experience for their customers. The chatbot can be easily customized to reflect the company's brand and tone of voice, and can be trained to handle a wide range of customer queries. This integration has long range of advantages, of which some are listed below 1. Availability 2. More Engagement resulting in better SEO 3. Data Collection 4. Can hold multiple conversations at once. 5. Cost-effective. 6. Time saving OpenAI is yet to open doors to the ChatGPT API. Whilst OpenAI starts rolling the API end point to the Devs, I made an attempt to access the ChatGPT response without the API. Please see the video below. In conclusion, the integration of ChatGPT and Adobe Experience Manager as a chatbot for websites provides a powerful solution for businesses looking to enhance their customer service and engagement. There's still a lot to explore in order to make a minimum viable product out of this idea. Please feel free to hit me up in case of any suggestions or help related to reference documents. Comments/Updates with the most recent replies should be sorted first, and new replies should be bold or highlighted in some way. Why is this feature important to you - My users are constantly missing replies because they get lost in the threads with no obvious way to find the newest replies. Reviewers are busy people and simply will not scroll through their Updates just in case there is a reply somewhere in there. Current Behavior - Comments/Updates are sorted by their original post date & time, and all replies have the same formatting. Users must scroll down and read all the dates to see if there is anything new. With reviewers and approvers needing to look at dozens of items every day, they simply miss new replies.
Our instance users are asking for a number of Subtasks to be displayed in the left navigation bar of a Parent task. This feature will prevent users missing any additional subtasks by having the number displayed similarly to how it displays the Number of Documents, and Issues.
Description - Create Logic for Repeating Deliveries to only send when a report's results are greater than 0Why is this feature important to you - Workers that handle multiple queues or on multiple teams would benefit from this feature so they could receive a report when infrequently queues have new requests or infrequent team task assignments come in. Report Result > 0. How would you like the feature to work - When setting up report Repeating Deliveries, have logic available to apply to a Daily delivery that it would only send if the report had >0 results. Current Behaviour - Workers that handle multiple queues or on multiple teams can be inundated by team assignment emails. Sending a Workfront report with >0 results would assist with the workers being aware of incoming work from infrequently used queues or team assignments.
Description - For those of us who find it impractical to manually manage project condition, automations like Task Tracking Mode = Auto Complete should be programmed to favor project condition rather than harm it.Why is this feature important to you - The Project Condition field can draw unnecessary ire from people who don't fully understand or appreciate what it indicates. The more we can encourage automations to help the better. How would you like the feature to work - When a task has the Task Tracking Mode set to Auto Complete, project timeline recalculation should set the task's Actual Completion Date to the task's Planned Completion Date and time so that it doesn't affect the project condition.Current Behaviour - When recalculating a project timeline, whether manually or on overnight refresh, the task's Actual Completion Date sets to the time of recalculation, which skews the project condition. Workaround: Manually update the Actual Completion Date.
