We have a number of top folder level tokens which are carried down to all programs located inside that folder. As these tokens have to frequently be changed (not only token value but also token name), it would be of great help to us if the system could automatically update the token name that has been changed in all instances where it has been referenced, particularly in all smart campaign flow steps. It would also be very helpful if we can have a visibility of where each token has been used / referenced.
The new toolbar in the WYSIWYG editor for email production looks great, but most of the features are now buried under the "More" button, which requires an extra click. Can the HTML source button be added to the primary toolbar, and not beneath the "More" button? It's a commonly used feature that allows access to more advanced editing, and it would keep things more efficient for power users!
The new email editor has stripped out many of the options that used to be under Insert/Edit image. There is no longer a way to add inline CSS to an image unless we go into the source code itself. To access table properties, we have to hit the "more" button. It is only 1 extra click but it does get a bit tedious after a while and this is the first time I've used the updated rich text editor.I think both of these options should be available without being under "more".
I would love to be able to add an additional column to this report so we could view the subject line of each email.I send this report out regularly to our sales team so we can see which templates are yielding the best results but the only identifier field for the email sent is the email name. It would be much more helpful if we could pull the subject line into this report so we can easily pick out subject line trends all in one report, instead of having to reference back to the template itself to find out what subject line is being used for each email.
It would be extremely helpful if Marketo's HTML Editor had the ability to highlight code/syntax while editing the source directly. Many tools already do this, including Dreamweaver, Litmus Builder, BBEdit and scores of other text editing suites. But, having this ability within Marketo's own tool will make triaging and editing code much, much easier.
Once a dashboard is created, it seems the only way it can be exported is to export each individual reporting window. I would like to see the ability to export the dashboard in one fell swoop, keeping the dashboard format as it stands.
As many know, but some may not, some email servers produced an email is delivered code, then subsequently reject the email and it get marked as both delivered and bounced i nthe Marketo activity log for that lead. It is documented and discussed here:Under what circumstances can an email be delivered and bounced? These emails will not have actually made it to the customer, so all analytics reports are inaccurate and also using the 'email is delivered' filter is inaccurate. This idea is for Marketo to retroactively go back to the activity log and remove 'email is delivered' if the email in fact bounced.
Hi,Since the introduction of the email send campaign we've been using it a lot. Mostly to send invitation and reminder emails for the simpler batch and blast campaigns. One of the troubles we're having is with the random samples not being available in the email send campaign. Metering a campaign by spreading it out over 10 weeks requires us to have 10 email send campaigns within a bigger campaign. However, there's no way to (easily) split the audience over the 10 email send campaigns other than generating 10 static lists or 19 smart lists. The way we would like to do it is by adding let's say 2000 people to the parent campaign and sending to a random sample. Once an email is delivered we would change the membership status of the Email Send Campaign and the Parent Campaign. Rinse repeat the next week.As we're able to leverage the 'Random Sample' filter in a Smart List, why can't we use this in an Email Send smart list? Sounds straight forward enough. Thanks,Stijn
