I've been banging my head off this one for months! So any help would be gratefully received.I've been trying to figure out the best way of recording samples requested by our customers and sending out a confirmation email containing details of what the customer has requested and where they'd like it delivered.I have created 2 custom objects - one containing the delivery information and another to record each product requested (as there could be multiple) I've also currently got this object linking back to the person record with an intermediate (bridge) object, although I'm not entirely sure why. I therefore can't see the 'edge' object in my email script list.Getting the customer / delivery info into the email is no issue using the email script tokens. How would I get the list of requested samples onto the email as there could be many products on the request. Is there a way I can put all the requested items into one field in a way that will display them nicely? Or can someone help m

Hello friends!   Another Velocity Script question for you all ✍️ This one feels like it might be silly and that I already know the answer, but would love validation!   My Strategic Events Team is looking to do Know Before You Go emails for our upcoming event and they want to include a variety of modules/sections in the email that would populate based on specific data e.g. whether someone has purchased a workshop or a guest pass for one of the parties, if they signed up for certifications etc. This would allow us to send registrants a single email with whatever information is applicable to them vs a separate email for each qualification.   ❓If I use multiple velocity scripts in each email broken down by information type, is it safe to assume that those scripts will run independently of one another? Or is there a risk of them conflicting with one another or causing a race condition of sorts?    Appreciate any information or things to cons

Hi all,I haven't worked with webhooks very much, but I'm investigating if this is a possible use case, and if so, how to create it.  Some background: my organization uses email domain to label what company or agency a contact belongs to. Currently we have a smart campaign with dozens of flow steps and a choice for each domain. We say if their Domain is agencyA.org, then their Agency Name is Agency A.  We are planning to make sure the values are updated, as it's been a few years, and checking and changing the many choices will be cumbersome to say the least. I think a webhook via FlowBoost could work, but I've only set up one webhook before and I essentially copied the FlowBoost user guide. I haven't been able to find a similar use case here on the forum, and I'm way out of my depth with Javascript.  So, my question is this: if I upload a CSV file with relevant fields to Design Studio and reference it in the webhook, how can I write use column A (domain) to

Our Salesforce instance is moving to "Contacts only" - they are removing the Lead Object and everything coming in will be a Contact Record. Are there any implications for the sync going forward?  Thank you

Hi,   Recently, we have noticed that some leads' activities show the "Merge People" option, even though the leads haven't been merged. It appears that they have simply updated the form with the same email address.   May I know the reason why it occurs?   Please refer the screenshot for your reference.        

We’re in the process of migrating to the new Marketo email editor and running into several major challenges with Fragments. Wondering if others are experiencing the same issues: Extra/unwanted code showing up in live emails (not just in draft or preview).Editable text blocks only allow the first sentence to be updated.Images included in fragments are not linking properly and need to be re-attached.Content elements defined as editable are not actually editable in practice.Excessive spacing between modules, even when templates are structured cleanly.Rendering issues across Outlook, Gmail, and iPhone where spacing and formatting look broken.Has anyone else encountered these problems, and if so, have you found reliable solutions or workarounds?

Hi there. I am looking to see if anyone has implemented a calendar widget on a Marketo event registration landing page. I have multiple events within the same Marketo program, and they spread across multiple months. Instead of a drop-down select field, I'd like to include a calendar where people pick a date and a list of available events for that date show up with links to register. Not sure if that can even work in Marketo. Hi,I am wondering if anyone knows a workaround to classifying an email performance report based on the program.Use Case: We have a number of default programs being used to send 'n' number of emails per program. Since each program may consist of many emails. It becomes difficult to gauge the overall program's email performance report when the reports are fetched as a workspace level. I am aware that we can fetch them filtered by program by such manual effort is not feasible while pulling all emails in a workspace.I wanted to check if we can pull a email performance report classified by program name when pulled for all emails sent in last few months/weeks. You have a robust multi-subscription model using Marketo Custom Objects, where each Subscription+Person combo has robust metadata about when somebody subscribed/unsubscribed, why, and how.   The boss goes, “Can we get a scheduled report of people who subscribed to any newsletter in the past month?” You know just what to do:   Then they throw in “Can we compare that to the 2 prior months?”   You almost say, “Sure” but decide to play around a bit. Then the uh-oh hits you. First, the between operator won’t work because it requires hard-coded dates, and this is to be a dynamic Smart List:   Next, you try to combine in past before and in past (like you would with person fields):   But that’s got a fatal flaw: each filter may be looking at a different CO record, i.e. a different newsletter!   This Smart List fetches people who: (a) have at least one Subscriber record with Subscribed At earlier than 1 month agoAND(b) have at least one Subscriber record with

Hi! Recently we've added 3 new fields as constraints to a Salesforce Object called "Application", since then all the sync operations related to this object have resulted in everyone being skipped.   We've checked on Salesforce side and the fields are visible and the Marketo Sync user has all the necessary permissions, so in theory everything should be working. I've tried refreshing the schema but it didn't help at all.   Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this problem? We don't get any error messages, everyone is just skipped in any operation related to the Application object.    

I understand Marketo doesn't have lookup tables, but we can create a smart campaign to do a replace value.The problem is that currently I have ~300 values, and that list may grow. Also if we can figure out a way to do lookups, there are cases where we would use this for much larger data sets.Sanford Whiteman had posted a blog post related to a similar case I had, but being that I'm not a developer, I am not sure if this can be used to replace an existing value field or if no match in column A, simply ignore.The value I want to replace is a UTM Campaign that is brought in from our web visits, the problem is that in the past those UTM Campaign values were not standardized, so we have all sorts of values coming in that we would like standardized.I've created the translator values in an excel table, but wanted to avoid creating 300+ rules in Marketo smart campaigns if this could be done another way.I see ideas for lookups in the community for this, but apparently they didn't get enough vot

Hello!I was working on an engagement program and was wondering if my goals were possible. I have two streams, the first just contains a general email that everyone receives, the second contains five default programs with criteria for sending. Those default programs send an email if the person is a member of a specific program. However, someone in theory could be a member of all five of the specific programs for sending. I wanted the cadence to be a week and if you dont qualify for the first email send program to get sent the next available email without skipping the cast. That way it would be one email per week if someone was in all five programs and only two weeks for someone in two programs.

Hello all,Working on a campaign that essentially does the following: Tracks website page views related to products and assigns a score of +1 for each visit to a corresponding field.Using Triggers, if a Lead hits a threshold put them into a Program related to that product.The Lead can only be in one Program at a time, but scoring continues until they leave the initial Program and can qualify again.Where I am looking for advice is after the Lead leaves the initial Program. We're wanting to basically move them into the next qualifying Program but since Marketo cannot directly compare Score fields on the Smart List side I am looking for the best way to be able to compare and select the highest score if there are multiple fields above the threshold. I've seen some solutions around using additional fields to append the score and product and update to the higher scoring field, but everything I've seen is a multi-step process so was curious if there was a more efficient way?

Notice of Deprecation of Forward to Friend functionality   As of September 29, 2025, the Forward to a Friend feature in Marketo Engage 2.0 emails will be completely deprecated for all customers. This will affect the Forward to a Friend token and Forward to a Friend links in emails that have already been or will be sent using the token.   Why is this deprecation happening? A security vulnerability was found with the Forward to a Friend email URL that could allow an attacker to forward an email they themselves had not received by using an mkt_tok  value. While data is not exposed to the attacker or recipient, and recipients of forwarded emails are not subscribed to receive future emails, there is a brand risk and risk of email complaints to ESPs.   In addition, this functionality has very low adoption among the Marketo Engage customer base and is not planned to be brought forward into the new Email Designer.   How do I know if this deprecation affects me? Hii all, We have a recurring email performance report/deck (made in Excel) I create weekly which has multiple parameters like Number of sends, clicks, etc for each brand we serve and we basically club it against each other to just have a view of different KPI percentages and email volume. I have to manually export weekly and monthly numbers every week and then once exported in excel replace the numbers in the main dashboard since I import a new sheet on every brand. Say 4 brands- 2 exports for each(weekly & month). 8 exports and with marketo being the gOldie it is, takes more than 30 mins to do it and feel it can be automated.Let me know if anyone has a solve.

Marketo Rest Endpoint for Email content doesn't contain any data about the buttons in the modules and I couldn't find any endpoint for doing CRUD in modules.We are working on a translation solution but for the Buttons we are stuck.If its not possible via REST API what are the other ways or strategies we can can use to update the Button's text?

HelloWe are experiencing deliverability issues, we saw a huge soft bounce jump, its mainly affecting Yahoo, Aol & Sky.The soft bounce information mainly seems to be:554 5.4.7 [internal] (last transfail: 421 4.7.0 [TSS04] Messages from 185.28.196.47 temporarily deferred due to unexpected volume or user complaints - 4.16.55.1; see https://postmaster.yahooinc.com/error-codes)We have not identified exactly why this has happened but can see potential contributing factors.For now, we are suppressing these domains, but we need to overcome this issue.I have seen that there is a Yahoo sender hub, which may give me more insights.  But it’s asking for me to add a TXT code to our domain:After your domain’s DNS configuration has been updated with its TXT record, you can complete the verification process.Has anyone done this?
