In June, Adobe Marketo Engage released a feature called Conditional Content for the new Email Designer. This feature provided an intuitive new way to personalize email blocks based on person/account attributes, offering more flexibility and control than the legacy email editor’s Dynamic Content feature.After the release, we discovered certain legacy tokens were not resolving correctly in the Email Designer. We have decided to temporarily disable the feature until we can resolve this issue. So, for now, you will no longer see the option to create new conditional content. If you have already created conditional content using this feature, the emails will still work as expected. All other email and related assets will also work as expected.   If you clone or edit emails that contain conditional content, you might see certain scripts native to the legacy email editor in the preview, instead of the visual representation of the conditional content. Hello everyone, Sorry if this topic is repetitive, but I couldn't find any history.😗I created a form with an Integer field to retrieve my clients' contract numbers.However, when I'm in the form editor, choose Text or Number for my custom field (FV_customer-contract-number) and enter the following numbers:500/2414478 -> I don't get 500/5002414478 -> I get a completely different number091/1231437 -> I only get 91...I even cleared my browser cache and created new test clients. In short, I'm lost.😤 All I want is for people to type (without the / or other symbol)5002414478, and I get the same number in the client file.Thank you for your help.

Is the Buying Groups tab automatically available, or there some specific prerequisites needed - such as whether creating audiences are required to make the Buying Groups tab becomes available? Any guidance or documentation reference would be very helpful.

Does the 'Has Opportunity' filter only apply to records that have a contact role on the opportunity, or will it qualify all contacts associated to the account (company) for that opportunity?Example:I have 5 contacts associated with Account 123. Account 123 just recently opened an opportunity. Only 1 of those contacts has a Contact Role assigned on the opportunity. I want to create a smart list to pull in all 5 contacts associated with Account 123 based on criteria filtered at the opportunity level (for example, Opportunity Stage = “Open” and Close Date within the next 90 days). If I am using the 'Has Opportunity' filter, will the smart list output all 5 contacts from that account, or just the 1 contact with the Contact Role?

Hi Team , Currently, we send out two types of marketing emails:Standard Marketing Emails: These are sent from our company name as the sender.Sales Representative Emails: These appear to be sent on behalf of the sales representative.Recently, our sales team requested that any emails sent on their behalf should include them in either the CC or BCC fields. This way, they can stay informed about what emails their customers receive, allowing them to have a clear understanding of the communication if a customer reaches out.We recently tested the CC feature in Marketo. While we did receive a copy of the email with the representative marked in CC, we found the user experience lacking. The customer can see the CC'd email addresses, which the sales team prefers to avoid.We also consulted support regarding the BCC option. They informed us that once enabled, it would apply to all emails and programs sent out from Marketo, which is not desirable for us. Therefore, this option is also not helpf

Hello, We have set a Marketo communication limit of 1 email/day. I scheduled an email for an audience on Wednesday, August 6, 2024, at 8 AM PDT which was sent out successfully. However, the same audience is also part of a nurture program where they receive an email every Thursday i.e today at 10 AM in their respective time zones. It appears that there was an overlap, and the nurture email for Thursday wasn't sent out as expected. Could you please let me know why this occurred? And please advise on corrective steps we can take.

A client found a single recipient domain where every Marketo email went to Spam due to failing DKIM validation. (A bad DKIM signature should really result in the message being dropped completely, so sending it to Spam was dangerously generous!)   We knew the DKIM DNS record (m1._domainkey.example.com) for Marketo was correct, and of course were reassured by only one company reporting problems. But still, you have to track things down.   What DKIM signs DKIM signs the important parts of outbound SMTP messages: the SMTP body and s set of common SMTP headers.   If a DKIM signature is valid, the recipient knows those parts of the message were generated on a server controlled by the signer, which increases trust.   (It also works both ways: the signer can’t claim they didn’t generate the message. Hi there, I have been tasked with creating a form in for a live event. In this case, I am to create some visibility rules that will block certain folks (partners) from being able to register once the threshold has been reached. We still want customers to have the option to register. I've started by adding a field with radio buttons that have the registration type = Customer or Partner, to help bucket the ones we want to eventually close registrations off for. I've added another field that has a "Sorry, but we've exceeded capacity for this event..." with visibility rules to populate for partners. I've been working with AI to figure some of this out. Its giving me custom scripts to put into the HTLM of a rich text field, however they don't seem to be working. I do need to fangle with the code a bit more but I am not a dev so it's a bit complicated to me. I was also thinking I can use rules based on the domain if we have the partners identified for an event, as a 2nd touch point

I've been tasked with sending an email to a large number of people were the text in it is specifically tailored to each recipient. I'm not sure the best way to go about this so I'll lay out ideally what I'd like to happen and I'm hoping someone can point me towards a solution.1. I set up an email template that has an empty set of <p> tags where I would dynamically add copy later.2. I receive a CSV from my data team that contains the recipients' emails and the copy I want to send to each person.3. I upload that data into Marketo.4. When the emails are sent, the copy from the CSV is added to the email template on a person by person basis.Is this something I can do in Marketo? I know I could probably make this happen via some sort of bridge table that links to Salesforce, but I'm not sure my team and I would the have the time to implement that. I am hoping someone can shed some light on an issue we have been having as Facebook, Marketo and Google are coming up short. For years we have had a very successful Marketo-Facebook integration with thousands of leads coming through correctly. However every now and then, a handful of leads won't come through and are only picked up when we do a manual download of form leads and compare it against those already in Marketo. This drop in connection seems to happen over 2 days but as you can see from the screenshot, plenty of leads come in both before and after the drop as well as some leads coming in part way through the block.  So far I have:Checked that the pages are still listed on launchpoint and confirmed the mappings are correctRenewed the sync with launchpointChecked that Ad Bridge Prod is list and connected as a CRM on the pageChecked that the page has accepted Facebook terms and conditionsConfirmed that all relevant permissions are still granted Does anyone hav

Hello, we recently purchased OneTrust to support our consent and preference center data. I've setup the workflows in OneTrust to GET and POST data with Marketo, when I test the workflow, I get an error response from Marketo that says error code 609, unrecognized token 'bob', was expecting JSON string....This tell me that OneTrust is sending data to Marketo, but Marketo does not like the way the data is coming from OneTrust, has anyone experience this same problem or have successfully setup the connection between Marketo and OneTrust so they can share data? Thank you

As you may have heard, a new version of the Salesforce CRM connector—specifically, the background synch process—will be rolled out in a phased approach across the Marketo Engage customer base starting in May 2025. We understand that CRM integration is a key component of your overall marketing strategy, and getting leads to your Sales teams in a timely manner is critical.   Benefit This new version will offer higher synch rates bidirectionally between Salesforce and Marketo Engage for higher volume needs. Higher sync rates will reduce the amount of backlog buildup caused by large amounts of data updates being sent through the integration. Hi @sanfordwhiteman,  I’m currently working with UTM parameters and assigning values using global variables in email editor 2.0. However, the client reported an issue where this approach doesn’t work when dynamic content (segmentation) is used. After doing some research and testing, I found that global variables are indeed not compatible with dynamic content.   Could you please suggest a workaround or an alternative approach to address this issue?  

I must be missing something but I couldn't find open rates in the email program a/b test dashboard, other than dividing the total number of opens (which I can see when I hover over the Click to Open section) by the total number of emails delivered.Also is there an easier way to get click through rate other than dividing the total number of clicks (which I get when I hover over the Clicks section) by the total number of emails delivered?Would be good also to see the exact click to open rate, I can see it's between two bandings in the graph and kind of guess it's closer to say 25% than 20% but I'd like to see the exact value.

Hi All, We are trying to save unique values in Brand Preference field in Marketo. Here’s a brief explanation of the current setup and test results:Each form submission uses a hidden Brand field with values like AA or BB.A trigger campaign updates the Brand Preference field using the Brand value.
